If it was costing them as much money as two heroes then the forums absolutely needed to be cut out of the picture.

Sorry to hear that. Try showing them this update and tell them you’ll only exclusively be in that server. I don’t see how different it can be than these forums.
For the server invite posted in this update? I clicked it and it worked fine for me.
Very sad to see the forums go 
I do use Discord and will be able to follow patch notes there, but the Forums have been an important part of my early twenties, especially during the pandemic. I’ve met a lot of great people here, and will never forget the silly and nice games I played on the Forums.
Thanks to everyone who was there in that period! You know who you are!

it is better yes, but people get funny about data protection/privacy etc with any chat apps like Discord, and also it’s not open to be read by anyone - so you have to join to even read the patch notes

They like have no idea how few of their players use Discord, and are thus unaware that this move will actually cause them to lose a significant number of their players.

I did see in another topic that @Pipsqueak did have an option for a linkage on that website that also hosts the recommended mods. I’m not sure if you need a Discord-account for that to read the Patch Notes, but if not that might be the best solution.

@Samm no this forums is everything plus some of us might not be able to do discord plus it’s hard work enough to think of concepts and redoing them on discord is not worth the time this can’t happen

Well, the good thing is, I do have Discord, and I joined the DHBM server since it launched earlier this year
There’s over 10,000 people in the Discord server.
