Well some people in Discord spread the news
Wow… It’s absolutely insane how many years ago I used to talk to people everyday on here. While now I nearly never speak to anyone from the game. So many memories have been created in this forum and I am so grateful for everyone person I’ve met on here and the time spent together.

this is unfortunate. i’m not downloading discord and making an account just to read about the game… that’s the point of having this bookmarked… next thing you know they will make everyone pay monthly to be in it. no thanks… it’s been a good run.

Thinking on it now, I think the weirdest thing about all of this is the fact that we were only given 2 weeks left to actually do stuff on the forums, but then it’ll be on read-only mode for a whole 2 months afterwards? Why not let us continue doing stuff on the forums until December, then have 2 weeks of read-only mode before shutting the webpage down?

You do have a point and thats unacceptable because not everyone is used to do things on Discord and certain categories on forms aren’t on Discord
These forums were mostly read only anyways since people here would cry if anyone tried being part of a conversation from a week ago.
If you’re not interested in joining the Discord then the patch notes get posted on the Reddit as well, I’m pretty sure, so you can read them there. That’s free to create an account too btw just in case some of you were scared that would charge you.

I can’t say goodbye to forms because I got to know a lot of people in fact I made a few enemies when I first got on but then me and those enemies I made developed and started to get along in some way we can understand each other

Well, moderation costs money
And after read-only mode is activated, mods can now give their undivided attention to Discord
I assume the day the forum shuts down is also the day the bill to renew Discourse’s services is due. No renewal, no forums.

Anyways, sad to see this place go. Not sure if any of you remember me, but to those who do, hello 
I’d love to catch up.
I was practically raised here. Made a lot of valuable friends. Had a lot of fun. Caused enough mistakes to look back upon and learn from (and cringe at). Started here a 7th grader and now I am a college freshman. What a growth 
I feel old here, knowing the forum’s seen better days. Great people have come and gone, forumers and moderators alike. What I’d give to meet them again…
The forums deserves a longer goodbye from me, but I talk too much, so I’ll spare my energy

I may not have ever said anything here, but ever since I first discovered the forums trying to find a tier list. I’ve read a lot of posts, new and old. I will miss the time I spent scrolling on here.

Well, it sure has been a fun ride. I remember when the forums first came out when I was a kid, it was fun making hero concepts and it’s kind of sad looking back to see those will all soon fade away. But, closing the forums is an understandable choice that I can respect. As the game evolves, so will its communication with its players, and with how long this game has been going with no signs of stopping, it is a fair choice. However, it’s been fun time being here and looking back at everything although it will soon be closing. Wish the team and community nothing but the best!
