I mean the movie just came out, how did they not plan for a Marry Poppins hero? Hell they had so many they could have taken, it did not need to be a main character.

I am a bit saddened by this lack of tact. While Mary Poppins has a couple characters that would make for some interesting heroes, this demanding nature is really uncalled for.
You do realize that within the last month we have gotten 5 more heroes? Olaf, while not availible yet has been added alongside Elsa and Shank who were added a couple weeks after getting Jack and Sally. Each character more than likely takes a considerable amount of time to design, playtest, tweak, animate, etc.
I love new characters as much as the next guy but you have to realize that since the games launch roughly 6 months ago they have added: Quorra, Flynn, Merida, Maui, Stitch, Tia, Barbossa, Aladdin, Genie, Hades, Scar, Maleficent, Miguel, Hiro, Baymax, Moana, Elsa, Olaf, Jack Skellington, Sally, Ursula, and Shank. 23 heroes in 6 months with a total of 47? Heroes. Effectively doubling the initial roster. Some may say that they add too many characters too fast.
So instead of berating the devs, hows about we enjoy the characters they have made, that we still have yet to play with in Olaf’s case, instead of saying “Why the hell don’t we have X character yet?”

Lol I think it upsets me more that they’re acting like there isnt a whole classic mary Poppins movie. Mary poppins isnt actually new so I’m sure if they wanted to put those characters in they would have done so by now. It’s probably not easy to design and develop characters to be implemented into the game. Especially with people just demanding things lol

I do understand that they have given us a lot. I get that they have doubled the amount of characters since the launch. I ALSO realize that with each new hero they add money to their coffers which incentivises per blue to keep pumping out heroes.
Since they deemed it necessary to bring out Shank just in time for WIR2, and Micky just in time for the 90th, I wonder why they prioritized elsa and olaf when marry poppins just hit theaters?
I do not feel like they are not doing enough, just that marketing wise it feels a bit of a let down that they did not plan a hero in time with the movie, as does some other disney games.
With movies coming out like dumbo, lady and the tramp, artemis fowl, mulan i would hope they are plaing new heroes around those.
I do understand that i should work on my alladin and scar for the up coming movies as there will most likely be an event. As there will most likely be for frozen 2 and maleficent. I just think that instead of some recent heroes they could instead time releases of new heroes with movies is all.
This was in no way to bash per blue that they have not done their job, or that they should do more, just wondering if they might share why they chose one over the other is all.
I do not even expect a response i was just putting out my thoughts cause i cant really talk to my spouse about it or she would just roll her eyes and go back to her Disney Emoji Blitz game and then laugh at the enormous amount of Disney characters she has there.
I am sorry if my desire to share my wish for the game to coincide with the upcoming movies upset you.

Just because kinokan can form an argument, doesn’t mean that he deserves to be called fake. Maybe, instead of relying on insulting him/her/it, you could state why you disagree with him, or be somewhat polite.

I’m sorry why is gratitude being taken as if I am some sort of paid off account? I am merely stating facts with the growth of the game as I know it. I have posted criticism on what I feel the game needs to improve on, e.g. War rewards being lack luster after Legendary, the state of Arena Promotions being incredibly unstable and unfavorable to the player base.
I believe the development of characters and the Balancing around them is not a point of contention. The devs have been nothing but wonderful with giving us a plethora of uniaue characters from many beloved Disney Movies. While I disagree with how they have implemented different features over the course of the roughly 6 months I have played thus far: heist kicking lacking for so long, annoying pop up ads, disincentivizing higher VIP rewards to name a few. Overall the devs have I believe done the best with what the community has given them. There are a lot of mindlessly complaining posts and wish for people to see what the game does right and not only what it has done wrong.
This idea that I enjoy the game despite it’s faults automatically making me a “white knight” or someone PB has paid off to only sing their praises is a little baffling if I am being honest. I don’t understand why that seems to be your perception of me but I can’t control your opinion nor do I wish to.
As far as this is concerned I see 3 things that made them go along this route. First with Shank I believe was included because Wreck It Ralph is very much the base of this game. It only stands to reason to prioritize a character from it’s sequel. Secondly with Mickey, it is not suprising to include him as he is the poster boy of Disney and probably if I took a guess. The most recongnized animated character in history. Having him here just makes too much sense especially in coordination with his 90th anniversary. Third, Frozen is one of Disney’s highest grossing movies of all time and a very fitting time for it considering Frozen recently went on Broadway and celebrated its 5 year anniversary in late November.
You mention Disney Emoji Blitz having a superior roster but you also have to realize it has been out for 2 and a half years at this point. It having a bigger roster only makes sense considering it’s age. Also as far as not timing events with movies, I have to disagree with that as well, as one of the first events at launch went along with the release of Incredibles 2 and the more recent WIR2 event series.
I honestly don’t see Mary Poppins or any of the characters from that movie to come to the game. The only live action movie represented is Tron: Legacy but that movie makes sense going along with the digital aesthetic the game applies. I would be pleasantly suprised if they bring them out at a later date but I don’t see it as a priority.

Not disagreeing or anything, just adding upon what you said, the two Frozen characters are also themed after snow (or in Olaf’s case, literally made of it), and snow is associated with winter and Christmas time usually. And if I’m not mistaken, aren’t the Pirates of the Caribbean movies live action? I haven’t seen them, but I’m pretty sure they are.

Ah yes that is one I had forgotten about. My apologies on that front. I believe that characters from that series were realeased because of it being one of Disney’s better series of movies having had 5 movies in total the first being released in 2003 if I recall correctly. Plus the fact that (I don’t believe that this is a direct correlation but simply an observation) Pirates of the Caribbean is returning to Kingdom Hearts in KH3 with the announcement trailer coming out in June of 2018 giving the series a spike in popularity and visibility.

I’m gonna say it’s very doubtful we’ll ever see Mary Poppins characters. Mostly because Mary Poppins is not a Disney character. Disney released the film, but Mary Poppins is property of PL Travers’ estate. And the relationship between Disney and Travers was notoriously strained. While the sequel suggests that the relationship is fairly mended, I doubt the estate would approve of Mary Poppins appearing in a video game where she’d, I dunno, bop Mickey over the head with her umbrella.
