So, there’s this guy in Server 1 in Arena Gold 3 named Dynasty Killer of the guild Dynasty 2 that seems like all he wants to do is grief the rank. He makes his defense a single blue Flynn and, with a higher level team, gets to the top of the leaderboard and basically has everyone beat him when they see him there, pretty much ruining other players progress and keeping them where they are. I want to know if there’s any sort of way to report a guy like that. It seems chat’s the only way to report someone while in-game, so I’m just gonna complain about it here and hope someone higher up will catch on.

He would only stop one person from moving up. Not everyone.
No, he’d stop everyone. He’d put himself up and when a person sees the easy victory in front of them, they’d fight him, win, and push him (and every single person beneath him) down a notch. Unless the former top 5 guys haven’t used up their fight chances, they can’t challenge him again and lose promotion time. This. is. HELL!
It’s annoying, yes. But technically, he’s not breaking any rules. I’d consider this a witch hunt though imho. (don’t attack me.)

Gotta admit, I’ve done this - but purely cos some people in my arena won’t allow someone to sleep, eg I’ve been #1 with 2hrs left to promote and gone to bed cos I actually have to go to work and can’t sit on a game all night like some seem to do - woke up to one defeat and slipped back to 9th or so.
I’ve got a great memory and will remember someone that’s done it, if I see them in a promote position I’ll beat them and leave an easy defense to pile them down.
Petty and puerile I know, but so is attacking someone in 1st place that’s got 2hrs left to promote out of 48hrs, when they could easily hit 2nd place. If people can’t show a tiny bit of class, then all bets are off and s.a.s I’ll mess you over when I get a chance to.

Yeah it really sucks when people bump you out of your promotion spot. And then there are thouse arenas were maybey 1 person gets promoted a weak, fir example platnium 5 on server 8 is a war zone, nobody can stay in the top 5 for mkre then 5 minutes it is redicoulose.
Not saying it’s right or wrong, but I can think of several reasons one would do this:
- During contests that reward arena victories (not the case here probably).
- For the trivial exp…
- To help other guild members climb (letting them beat you intentionally).
- To mess with everyone else
- Maybe they did #1 and just genuinely forgot they have their defense set that way. Silly, but in Dragon Soul I actually did that with my coliseaum team once and forgot for like 3 weeks.
I know some players actually thought you had to WIN 3 arena fights for the daily quests…so, who knows?
