A few weeks ago, Top 200 in my Server was guaranteed Top 1%, meaning we had at least 20,000 active players - now Top 1% are 1 to 134, meaning we have about 13,400 active players - you’ve driven away 6,600 players, that’s about 33% gone in a few weeks!
So many other posts have pointed out how much of a let down the Christmas event was, after all the build up for a “very special Christmas week”… Other posts complain about the Pay To Win elements of so many “Contests” and “Deals”…
But really, while they may be factors, I think the major issue is that you have not scaled the natural energy recovery rate or the badge and hero drop rates in line with the introduction of new heroes, making the entire experience soooo much of a grind now, and people are simply fatigued because there are too many heroes to focus on and not enough resources to keep them updated - either the energy needs to recover quicker, or drop rates for certain things need to increase - because with 40+ heroes now and the same resources available, progression is half the speed it was when there were 20+ heroes…
