Let me just start with how much I appreciate a themed contest. I mean, that’s what we’re here for, ain’t it? To spur on our inner collector, gather all the characters from one movie, & have them band together under our thumb! (Ahem!)
Some quick math before I get into what I think: Assuming the best of us (on S2-8) have scrounged up all Heroes & have all their Friendships up to at least 5, I’ve figured you can run 12 2hr-Missions concurrently (if anyone - from any server - has a larger list, let me know)!
- 12 Missions x 5 Friend XP = 60
- 60 x 12 hours = 720 Friend XP/day … if you remember to reset every 2hrs for a full 24hrs.
- 720 x 1,300 6,600 points earned per Friend XP = 4,752,000 points
This is 24hrs worth of points. I haven’t even factored in the extra points you get from running Toy Story Hero Missions. Color me impressed! Even if you can’t run all 12 Missions - or don’t have all of the Toy Story Heroes (like me) - you should, at least, be able to Run 8 Concurrent Missions by now. Doing that many will land you ~3.2mil after doing 12 rounds of 2hr-Missions. The easy-to-land points means it’ll be harder to gain a top rank, of course, but I’m sure many will overlook that in favor of being able to obtain all Progressive Rewards, AND THEN SOME!
Speaking of rewards… Handing out Emojis with their corresponding Hero Chips are a nice touch! I’m not mad about any of the other rewards, either. Gold & XP Drinks have been scarce, plus free stamina items? Heck yeah! All there’s left to hope for is that this contest follows its predecessors & runs the entire weekend.
I’m sure many of us are happy to see this contest after the last 2 grueling ones. OK, let’s face it. This contest came out of the gate a little rough, but it was patched up pretty quickly (despite the pitchforks).
