DHBM Complete Tier List

Where does the new Beast #tand on this list? He seems to rely a lot on Crits, but he seems like a pretty strong character

Volume 3, (Part 1)

JACK SPARROW :ship: :dagger:
Damage, Front, Yellow
Tier: A
After his refresh long-ago, Captain Sparrow has become a deadly Nornal damage machine. His white can easily obliterate a low-Armor team, but what makes Sparrow so dangerous is his stunning basic damage. On an even deadlier scale is his blue skill, giving him an insane Basic Damage buff, making him such a heavy hitter that it can be problematic for even the toughest team-defenders like Baymax and Calhoun(Vi) to hold up against his attacks. However, too much CC and killing him off before he can use any of his important skills limit his potential.

JAFAR :crown: :muscle: :genie:
Control, Back, Blue
Tier: S
Jafar is well-known for his infamous Scar Disk. When paired with Goofy(Je), the DoT will almost ensure that your enemies will be slaughtered in seconds. However, this is likely to be nerfed soon, as Polaris confirmed it publicly. Jafar’s “Snake Charmer”, a player-selected foe is charmed for 10+ seconds, along with a large speed boost and tremendous Basic Damage buff. This makes him an enormous threat to teams with Beast (enraged), Quorra, Ducky & Bunny, and even viral Jafar, as he can use the charm to redirect his Whirling Dervish at his own allies. Combine these with moderately frequent energy steals, slows, damage, and blind, you’ve got one of the deadliest Controls yet to be added to the game.

JACK SKELLINGTON :jack_o_lantern:
Damage, Back, Yellow
Tier: A
One of the two heroes who deals pure Fantastic Damage (Other is Rafiki), Jack is a great threat to teams with a low Reality average. His active is a great Control weapon, which interrupts all enemies with a mini-stun. Frequent Scares provided by his white and green are great for Fantastic Damagers, and quick attackers, which, using the healing in his purple, is a great way to help glass cannons survive, or fast attackers like Dash. Sally Disk is a decent dot gadget, but his Mad Hatter Disk often outperforms it, providing more thorough Scare while packing an even bigger punch against backline heroes like Elsa and Jafar.

JOY :crystal_ball: :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:
Support, Back, Yellow
Tier: S
Joy is perhaps the best defense-based Support in the game now, and a great healer as well. She shares the same stacking dynamic with Anger, but her Happiness cap is twice as big and each stack makes allies harder and harder to kill, especially with her Olaf Disk. She does not deal any damage, but her great burst heal, energy boosts, shielding and stat buffs to allies make Joy a defense machine. (“A team with Joy is a team with perhaps the greatest survivability. Her defensive prowess allows her to excel in all game modes and is especially good on Auto, so that she may heal as soon as it’s available while quickly building up her Happiness.” -Aurora_Veil")

JUDY HOPPS :rabbit: :fountain_pen:
Support, Mid, Yellow
Tier: A
Not just any dumb bunny. Great Basic Damage bonuses and attack speed to allies, great single-target knockback and slow, and a revive make Judy a threatening opponent. Her Disk selection is also great, with Felix giving her a massive upgrade in basic damage to allies and also giving her some nice Skill Power. Her Chief Bogo Disk is great for survivability, as well as giving her a great rise in Max HP and giving her more Basic Damage. Weaknesses include vulnerability against Control and Executers, Maui and QOH, due to her very low HP.

KEVIN FLYNN :desktop_computer: :computer_mouse:
Support, Back, Red
Tier: A
While he isn’t as reliable in Arena and Coli, Kevin is a wonderful Support to work with in Guild War, Heust, Campaign, and basically every other game mode. Total immunity to disables allows him to continue his job, using his powerful white skill to eliminate ALL negative status effects on his allies, making him an awesome counter to enemies that focus on CC, namely Maleficent, Elsa, and Finnick. Kevin is likely to be given trouble by Woody, who can pull him into enemy fire and kill him before he can activate his disable cleanse, and, even for a Support, deals rather weak damage.

MALEFICENT :green_heart:
Control, Back, Yellow
Tier: A+
A Stun/Curse based Control
who also deals deadly splash damage with her active. Mal’s constant stuns, which affect both individual enemies and enemies on a team-wide scale can easily give allies the time to shred away at their enemies, while they can’t do anything about it. Quick, frequent Curses can be a great hinderance to frequent healers like Miguel and Mickey. Her Ursula Disk is particularly useful when used against a team with high energy gain, allowing her to repeatedly stop enemies from using their actives. Her Jack Disk helps push her Damage a bit further, inflict an even bigger stun, and deal amazing splash effects on her green. Good durability for a backline.

Note: There are a few heroes missing, but I felt bad for leaving this list unattended so long. They’ll be edited in soon.

Why’s that? I find that people enjoy analysis on a hero rather than a dead bullet-point list.

Yep. And it’s very helpful, even for experienced players.
