So first episode of Bad Batch is tomorrow and the second is the 7th. After that, every subsequent week, a new episode comes out. And itās a 16 episode season so this is going to be a decently long event. Weāll be talking about this until July 30th. Wow.
Plenty of Star Wars content this year that will carry us through. Beyond excited.

So I watched it too and wow what an opening. Non-spoiler I can say I enjoyed it very much and that it seems it is going to be able to follow in the footsteps of Clone Wars en Rebels!
Spoilers discussion Bad Batch episode 1
Now onto the spoiler part, because oh my what is there a lot to talk about.
First of the opening with Caleb Dume (aka Kanan Jarrus) just before Order 66 was going to launch. It was heartbreaking to see his master die and him running of all scared. On the other hand it was interesting to see how the Bad Batch reacted. They all disobyed Order 66, except for Crosshairā¦
After that going back to the changed Kamino was strange. It got elements we have seen before in the Clone Wars, like the training facility and the medical rooms, but it really felt like the Empire was indeed coming inside.
It was also nice to see Saw Gerrera for a short moment. Still fighting for freedom in Onderon, but we sadly know he will lose that. I do actually hope to maybe see a bit more of him later in the season.
On the other hand, we got also a new interesting character in Omega. Really looking forward to see what kind of member of the team she is going to become. It is clear that is will be very cool!
On the matter of the ending, I can say that I hope that the Bad Batch is going to find a way to remove Crosshairs chip, just like Rex chip was once removed. Maybe Echo will be able to find the data collected by Fives??
Okay this was a chaotic review, but there was a lot to write about. I probably didnāt even cover everything, but this is it for now!

Loved seeing more of Kananās story. We finished watching Rebels this winter and I really love how the new shows are pulling together elements from so many different places.
Double spoilers? (Rebels)
Iād love to see Ezra show up with Asoka somewhere, especially given the ending of Rebels.
I think Omega is going to be a mimic. She can watch someone do something and the she can do it herself. She did that with the blaster. She was also watching everything the other members did with great detail and sometimes copying their gestures and actions.

Now itās my turn to talk about this, Iāve gathered my thoughts together finally. 
Bad Batch spoilers

So first off, seeing Kanan again was amazing. The retcon actually I feel is good and made tons of sense. His voice should have been younger though, kinda drastic still being voiced by the same guy but oh well, seeing him and Depa Billaba was actually amazing after I previously watched Rebels rather recently.

Crosshairās chip reminds me a lot of Rex and I really wonder how theyāre potentially going to get it out, probably in the same way as Rex who I guess possibly will be in the show at some point.

The rest of all the team is also super fun and I love their A-Team like dynamic. Omega adds to that well. I like the mysteries and theories surrounding her already but yeah, I agree with the theories that sheās a mimic. The Palpatine clone stuff feels too farfetched even for Star Wars imo.

I also wonder if theyāll explain why all the Batch besides Crosshair didnāt obey 66, like why didnāt they feel the need to do so? May be a really fun and interesting thing to get inside their minds as to why they didnāt.
TL:DR. This show seems really amazing so far and a perfect continuation to the Clone Wars. Also, quite refreshing seeing a kid friendly show after F&TWS and WandaVision being rather heavy in some points. This show will be really fun and great for any Star Wars fan. Very excited for more and will continue to watch the whole way.

SW Rebels + Mandalorian spoilers
I think this might happen in the Ashoka series that will come sometime next year. The Mandalorian S2 already gave little hints it might be
Bad Batch Episode 1
I actually first did think it was a younger actor. His voice didnāt feel like it was as deep as Kanan in Rebels
No reason why he wonāt, but I donāt think he will come soon. Both in Rebels and The Mandalorian, big(ger) returns were in S2.
I think the Kaminoans did explain that because of the mutations, the chips didnāt work (as) good (as expected)

Bad Batch Episode 1
He did disguise it quite well. But on some lines, it felt more noticable. Still, I didnāt mind it as much as some people did. I think it was okay.
Probably true. You may see his big return much later but I definitely think you will.

NEW STAR WARS
I watch it yesterday after the mandalorian,
These guys are not being bad guys, there are just good guys like clone wars. Mainly, as the reference of āRevenge of the Sithā style by clone wars. This is why it be my favorite star wars television, since āThe Clone Warsā

And the new episode has been out for a day, so time to review!
Bad Batch episode 2
It was a very touchy feeling episode this time. I like to start with the dynamic between Omega and Hunter. I loved how Cut showed Hunter in this episode how it is to be like a kind of father and how Hunter has to learn how he has to be there for Omega.
What was also fun is that Omega discovered all kinds of new things like the scene with the dirt and the scene where she was playing with the kids of Cut and Sue. She really had a kind of wondering about her 
We also saw in this episode the first signs of how the Empire came to have restrictions on who can travel around the galaxy, which was interesting to see how the Bad Batch resolved that really. Tech and Echo really are a good team in that! (Although they needed Omega to get the codes to Cut and Sue and the kids.
So looking forward to next week to see where they are heading to now!

Bad Batch Episode 2
I am living for it. It is like the relationship between another space dad and his kid in another show we know ofā¦ I LOVE BOTH
Yeah and how people tried to get around them and stuff. Tricky!
I hate not knowing who and what Omega is and I do not like having to wait to discover more about her.

Big Shot episode 4
Again a very lovely episode really. It was nice to see how the two āproblemsā in this episode resolved each other. Cause from the moment āSamanthaā (Donāt even know a Samantha) stepped on the field, it felt not right.
I kinda felt bad for Olive, but it also showed that you have to be very carefull when signing a contract. I was kinda screaming at my screen when she was signing without reading the contract first (and in this case withing investigating with what company you will be working with)ā¦
What I really liked is that the video the reporter-girl made last episode turned out to be really lovely in the end and not a bash him video. It helped resolve the plot in making Marvin see why he loves basketball so much.
And once again, the scenes between Marvin and Emma were great. Certainly the part at the end was kind of funny

I still think Ralph Boenher is actually Mephisto. We are just being hoodwinked into thinking heās just some dude who lives with Agatha.
The first couple episodes Wanda seemed genuinely bemused and the neighbors kept saying āfor the childrenā. Thereās clearly more going on that had yet to be revealed

Bad Batch episode 3
Iām falling in love with Omega more and more. What is she a good character exploring the world. Once again her dynamic with Hunter was great, but also expanded to Wrecker who made her a room at the end. Really touching!!
I was also very intrigued by the storyline Crosshair took this episode. I think we might have seen the start of the Death Troopers? (From Rogue One), but Iām not intirely sure. It was at least very brutal how they were to slaughter civilians. It shows how effective those chips are inside the clones and how brutal the Empire was from the start.
It also kinda gave an explanation why the Clones might have to be moved into conscripted soldiers, whilst the Clones are farr beter soldiers. Tarkin and that Admiral believe that the new group under the lead of Crosshair succeeded because they had conscripted soldiers now, but it was because of Crosshairs modified chipā¦
So interestng episode and looking forward to see more!

Lol, I forgot to talk about Bad Batch episode 2, well, weāll double review it with 3 today.

So in both, I love Hunter and Omegaās relationship. Hunter really is growing a lot and I think having her as a young protege of sorts is really helping him. Wrecker as well in the 3rd episode, heās always so endearing imo.

The Empire having more scenes of how they restrict people and control people is really interesting also. It just really connects everything in Rebels, Rogue One and the OT so much better. Also, seeing the potential birth of the Death Troopers is cool. I think itās likely thatās them. Crazy to see how violent they are but it would make perfect sense once seeing Rogue One.

Crosshairās storyline which sort of intersects with that is also neat. Iām really interested to see if he maybe has a Tup like story where he eventually is rehabilitated and deals with the ramifications of the situation. Cool stuff.
TL:DR. Really loving this so far. Iām planning to rewatch the episodes soon with my family so I can further analyze cause Iāve been busy, lol, but this is really, really great so far. Very fun and entertaining.
