Disney+ Original Series Discussions!

Watched Black Widow now! So happy!!!

Surprisingly not my favourite Marvel film, that’s probably still Winter Soldier

Kind of spoiler-ish but not really if you've seen any trailers (not any plot details)

As much as it was exciting and packed a lot in, it didn’t feel like it was Nat’s film it felt like she was the name to draw people in and it was actually Yelena’s introduction film, like Nat needed help far more than any other film she’s been in, yet Yelena was mostly fine

It just seemed like the balance was off, although they were great together, just a shame that duo is over before it really started

Would like to mention here that it would be nice if you mention for what show the spoilers are!

I know Loki might be the most popular thing right now, but this topic contains more than just the one main Marvel show!

Bad Batch episode 11 Devil's deal

A set-up episode for next week this time! One were it is very usefull to have seen Rebels to understand the character of Hera.

The clone commander was one of the most interesting characters and new additions this week. He seems to act rather autonomous…

Also just fan to see Hera working with Chopper again! Cham Syndulla was rather peacefull really, in contrast to his behaviour in Clone Wars and Rebels!

HSM TMTS S2 Episode 10 Spring break!

Really felt like an covid-episode, where they zoomed the whole show together. The story-line I loved the most was with Gina :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Hopefully next week a normal episode again!

Monsters at Work episode 1 and 2

The show creators be like: It’s laughter we’re after!

A very hilarious start of the series and a promise for much good to follow. I like our main protagonist Tylor, but also love to see Mike having a decent amount of screentime.

The MIFT team is strange and chaotic, but also suprise in how well they’ve handled stuff so far!

Really looking forward to see the next episode Wednesday!

Sad tomorrow is the final Loki ep for season 1. I have plenty of theories for it but I’m sure it will be a great finale. It’s been such an amazing show and it just has reminded so much of not only how much Loki has meant to culture and society but how much Tom has brought to him and has made him such an important character in the grand spectacle of Marvel.

Like one of the characters said, he truly can become anything he wants or do anything he wants. He is more powerful than he is. He is glorious purpose.

But with that in mind, here’s a video that showcases some of the more lighthearted moments our favorite lighthearted trickster had had, before we get our minds blown in the finale.

This is an example of multiplication, class.

last episode of Loki (no spoilers)

I can’t say I was bothered by it, episode 5 was great but 6 was probably overly-complicated, it felt like all logic went out the window and they weren’t entirely sure how to end the series

That being said there were quite a few good moments/details, I just think they got a bit lost in the bigger confusing plot

My small review on EP 6

I thought it would be more than it, I mean Ep 5 was alot bettteeeer than Ep 6. Honestly it wasn’t that fun which I expected but at least Multiverse opened
Now let’s hope Loki S2 comes within a year.

Kang Kang Kang has arrived! I
'm sad Mobius wasn’t on a jet ski on the end. But good there will be Season 2, definitely happy about it : - )

Monsters at Work Ep. 3

A very funny episode again. I loved both the A and B plot of the episode. MIFT is slowely going to work together, but it’s not smoothly yet

Mike and Sully with the baby was very cute. I loved how Mike said he didn’t felt a connection, but he really did :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Ok so

Loki Ep6 Spoilers

Bit (actually more) disappointed the season ended like that.

  • Sylvie betrayed Loki
  • Mobius didn’t ride a jet ski
  • Mobius also doesn’t know who Loki is anymore (maybe the memories were erased or something like that?)
  • TVA in chaos, and it doesn’t seem good even though I wanted it taken down
  • Mobius STILL didn’t ride a jet ski

I feel like this is setting up Multiverse of Madness and No Way Home, and if that’s where Season 2 will head, then I’m not too sure of this show. I was also thinking about this leading to What If…? But I think that’s not really the case.

Show overall is an 7/10. FATWS is still better than this, but it doesn’t mean it’s bad.

Watched the Final Ep of Loki Season 1

SPOILER
  • Oh my God! It was amazing!
  • Kang is such fun and well played! I love him :rofl: and I’m looking forward to seeing variants of him in other MCU productions
  • Why did Sylvie turn against loki  still, their kiss was a fantastic moment!
  • We have the Multiverse! It’s gonna get even more interesting in the MCU now…
  • the end was interesting… Excited for S2!
  • Overall I loved the show just so much!

The Bad Batch episode 12 - Rescue

After a set-up episode last week, this was really rewarding for me

It also fitted the theme of change and adaptation of the whole story in several nice ways. Captain Howzer who stood up against the Empire from his beliefs.

And Hunters gets to see, after being convinced by Omega, that fighting for money isn’t everything. Fighting for family is.

Another great plotline was Hera’s flight in that shuttle!

For next week I hope we might see how Howzer’s decision effects the faster implementation of Operation War Mantle.

Spoiler: A Loki meme

I am reading the summary of episodes for The Mysterious Benedict Society and I absolutely hate the series just by reading about it on Wikipedia. There are so many differences from the books that it’s crazy. Never watching it now then.

I actually quite enjoy it so far, but I haven’t read the book so that works. Cause I know the feeling of when things don’t add up. I had that with the Percy Jackson movie.

Monsters at Work Episode 4

Another fun episode where the team bonds, and Tyler learns a bit more on being a team. He still has a way to go though, cause at times rather selfish.

I also loved the Tie-ending of the competition. Mike and Geri having to go dine together :joy:

Okay sorry! Didn’t really remember him actually from something. So glad you helped out!

The Bad Batch episode 13 Infected

A bit of a more filler episode and maybe not a less of grand implications than last week, but still fun and enjoyable.

Omega takes more and more the lead, which is good to see. Her compassion for others is also really admirable. She stuck up both for Cid and for the new guy, even though they might not be as friendly creatures…

The return of the Pikes was as menacing as they should be. That was cool!
