You could do 4x Normal Crit or 2x Normal Crit 2x Purple Skill…
…But why would you? Barbossa’s only there for his start-of-battle Study, and if he lives long enough, additional Studies from his ult. His basic attack damage is surprisingly decent, but he interrupts himself too often to be really good for that.

But they only have two skills that can do damage
And no basic attack to crit
So would Skills or speed not be better?

They have enough speed from purple skill and Lilo disk.
And skills… single NC mod will double all damage from green skill. And FC crit is the only way to increase white skill damage.
If you don’t have FC pieces, then only other thing is more NC or green skill upgrades.
