How long do servers usually have to test something before it’s available on other servers?

Agree. Instant gold can get us going to hire mercs. That’s the only way to complete surge. 1x gold at start with accrued gold at end would be helpful.
Also having to fight the same toons endlessly is definitely a problem. It’s not possible for everyone to be able to counter with one merc per fight and their selection alone as there are only so many ways to deal with a toon or a buff team for that matter.
Perk/influence refund for already unlocked levels would be nice.

Red Skills were tested for, IIRC, at least two months before being released to other servers. The new CW matchmaking has been going on almost as long on server 2, I think. So there’s quite a range of possible times.

How will all the perks be affected? Most of us spent quite a few Influence to unlock the various difficulties.

I asked it a few times already but still hasnt gotten any answer regarding about all the difficulties perks we have unlocked?

The perks have been transferred to the new surge. The difficulty level perks are now reward tier perks - they allow the guild to reach higher reward levels.

Will the old system still be available or will the new one replaces it all?

No, once a server switches this will be the only one available.

Can you please clarify the “contributing heroes” aspect and what does it mean that they can’t fight is Surge battles.

It gives you points for those heroes. One example case would be after you’ve battled with most of your heroes, there’s usually a few at the bottom of the ranks that aren’t powerful enough to use in combat. Those heroes can be contributed at the HQ, earning you points. That marks them as used, so you can’t also fight with them. Another use would be if someone didn’t have a lot of time to play, they could do a few raids, and then contribute the rest of their heroes to the HQ. They’re earning points and helping the guild.

Tons of people will just take the gold from the easy cleared districts and ignore the overall goal.

They’ll get more gold if they contribute to the overall goal. The gold multiplier should make a good incentive to get guild members to work together.

There’s been tons of times I’ve used the gold earned during surge for some purpose or another - having to wait to receive any until the next day is silly. Especially since surge will now end after contests end.

You’ll be getting an influx of gold each day when the surge resets, but we will be watching this.

do we need to unlock Endless Surge or it will be automatically implemented to us all?

It will automatically be turned on for you. When guilds finish an old surge after new surge is live, they’ll reset immediately into new Surge. Depending on the timing, that first “new Surge” may be short because new Surge resets at 11 AM CT

And also, shouldn’t you release the change on lineup of CW and Surge to our server 9 before implementing Endless Surge to us?

There are some adjustment to matchmaking with the new Surge that should add more variety to the opponent lineups.

@Pipsqueak If people get gold as they do Surge, I’m afraid that many will wait on later wave to do because they will earn more as gold get multiplied. It will lead to no one wants to early wave

So as for me and my guild mates, we are fine getting gold once Surge is finished

That’s not how my suggestion would work - the gold earned instantly wouldn’t be multiplied, it would just be the base gold for that battle. The game would then store how much base gold X player has earned during that surge and apply the multiplier when surge ends, rewarding the additional gold.

Can you tell us if the points we get is solely based on the power rating of those heroes, or if there are other factors in play? E.g., would someone contributing one 100k hero to HQ be generating exactly as many points as someone contributing 20 5k heroes?

I’m looking forward to that; it’s getting tiresome seeing Beast in the majority of districts 5-19 every single day. (At least with Beast, you can usually KO everyone else around him and then raid the district when he’s the last one left, so it’s still not as bad as when Randall was wiping out entire teams in 10 seconds.)

I very strongly feel this would be the ideal way to do it, though I can understand if coding it that way might end up being more trouble than PerBlue wants to take on right now.
