Here’s Eruptor’s second friendship campaign.
Campaign Name: Hot and Cold
Eruptor/Sadness

Friend Dialogue Level 1
Eruptor and Sadness are now friends!
Eruptor: Hey, were you alright there? You were crying your eyes earlier.
Sadness: I’m fine. Crying just helps me slow down and obsess over the weight of life’s problems. Such as the creeps.
Eruptor: I’ll say, your tears managed to flow an entire horde away.
Sadness: I get that a lot. I’m Sadness, by the way.
Eruptor: I can see why they call you that. I’m Eruptor, Skylander of the Fire Element.
Campaign Story: Sadness has to go with Eruptor on his patrol so that he won’t lose his temper.
Judy: Sadness, how good are you at calming people down?
Sadness: Not so much… Why do you ask?
Judy: Well, I was hoping you could accompany one of the Skylanders on their patrol.
Chapter 1: Literal Hothead
Chapter 1-1: Judy explains to Sadness that Eruptor has been having major anger issues. Even bigger than Anger’s rage.
Chapter 1-2: Because Sadness has dealt with Anger’s rage before. Judy thought she could be an ideal partner to Eruptor.
Chapter 1-3: Sadness feels too down for something like that. But she agrees to give it a shot.
Chapter 1-4: They arrive at the CPD, where they find Eruptor finishing off a few creeps.
Chapter 1-5: As Erputor flings lava blobs, one of them almost hit Sadness. Judy shoots a glare right back at him.
Eruptor: Officer Hopps, I can explain. The creeps got the drop on me when I was waiting here.
Judy: I could see that. But next time, try to give us a little warning before you lob lava around.
Judy: Anyway, I’d like you to meet Sadness. She’ll be joining you on your patrol today.
Sadness: Hello.
Eruptor: Uh, hey there… Sadness.
Eruptor: * whispers * Please tell me you’re kidding here, Officer Hopps.
Chapter 2: Cold Start
Chapter 2-1: Judy assures Eruptor that she’s serious about Sadness.
Chapter 2-2: Even though Eruptor would rather fly solo. He knows the other Skylanders would want him to chill ever since they arrived in the City.
Chapter 2-3: Eruptor reluctantly agrees, and he and Sadness leave the station.
Chapter 2-4: The first place on Eruptor’s patrol is the Port.
Chapter 2-5: Eruptor begins to make his way there, only to find Sadness walking slowly behind.
Eruptor: Why are you walking so slow? If we want to stop any creeps, we need to hurry.
Sadness: Walking has always helped me stop and obsess over being stuck here.
Eruptor: Okay, then.
Chapter 3: Taking It Slow
Chapter 3-1: Eruptor needs to hurry, but he knows he can’t leave Sadness behind.
Chapter 3-2: He offers to hold her hand and walk, despite his hand being made out of part lava.
Chapter 3-3: Sadness declines and hops on her raincloud.
Chapter 3-4: Eruptor was surprised that she can summon a cloud whenever.
Chapter 3-5: Eruptor eventually meets her at the Port.
Sadness: Was I able to help with getting you here?
Eruptor: While I was taken back a bit. You did help me get here.
Eruptor: If you don’t want to fight the creeps. Then I won’t stop you.
Chapter 4: Boiled Over
Chapter 4-1: Eruptor and Sadness made it to the Port, where they find a horde of creeps.
Chapter 4-2: Eruptor lobs lava blobs at the Ninjas and Turrets.
Chapter 4-3: The Skylander then releases a pool of lava around himself, ruining any creeps that got near.
Chapter 4-4: The lava got too close to Sadness as she started to wail.
Chapter 4-5: Eruptor quickly saw this and stopped his eruption.
Eruptor: Are you better, now?
Sadness: Your lava was close to burning me.
Eruptor: Look, I’m sorry. But I’ve been used to doing these alone.
Friend Dialogue Level 7
Eruptor: Sadness, are you always this mopey?
Sadness: As far as I’ve been around, yes.
Sadness: Being sad… just helps me let it all out.
Eruptor: Maybe you try to talk to Hugo. I think you might be able to help him with his fear of sheep.
Chapter 5: Fashion Forward
Chapter 5-1: Eruptor lets Sadness decide where they go next.
Chapter 5-2: Sadness suggests they go down the Fashion District.
Chapter 5-3: Eruptor agrees and they walk down to the Fashion District.
Chapter 5-4: As they do, more creeps get the drop on them.
Chapter 5-5: Eruptor readies himself as Sadness hides in her turtle neck.
Eruptor: Hope you’re ready for more lava, Sadness.
Sadness: I… I don’t know if I can take the heat.
Blue Mage: PURGE THE ERRORS!!!
Eruptor: Something tells me you may not have a choice.
Chapter 6: Burned Mark
Chapter 6-1: Eruptor begins to spit magma balls at the Brutes that also left a burning path.
Chapter 6-2: Sadness tries her best to avoid the lava.
Chapter 6-3: Sadness soon sees Eruptor being overwhelmed by the creeps.
Chapter 6-4: Feeling overwhelmed, Sadness breaks out into tears.
Chapter 6-5: The creeps disperse as Eruptor starts to cool due to the tears.
Eruptor: Uh, Sadness. You can stop, they’re gone.
Sadness: I know that. But it feels nice to let it all out.
Eruptor: That’s fine, I can wait.
Chapter 7: Burning Out
Chapter 7-1: Eruptor waits for Sadness to be done crying.
Chapter 7-2: It takes a bit, but Sadness finally calmed down.
Chapter 7-3: When they reached the Fashion District, the duo can see more creeps milling around.
Chapter 7-4: Eruptor prepares to fight when he sees Sadness moping down.
Chapter 7-5: He stops to check on Sadness before the battle.
Eruptor: Are you alright, Sadness?
Sadness: Not really. I feel tired… there are too many creeps… and I’m afraid you’ll lose it again.
Eruptor: Lose it again? What do you mean?
Sadness: Because everywhere we went today, you were losing your cool. I understand that you’re mad at the creeps for taking you away from your home. But you don’t always have to get fired up.
Friend Dialogue Level 10
Eruptor: Sadness, have you ever tried to be a therapist for the Hero Clinic?
Sadness: No. I don’t really like to pressure myself with these burdens.
Eruptor: But I think you’d be great for helping the heroes with their problems. Now I’m starting to sound like Joy.
Chapter 8: Cooling Down
Chapter 8-1: Eruptor was about to think of a comeback. Until he replays the entire day.
Chapter 8-2: At the start of the patrol, Eruptor was raging a lot.
Chapter 8-3: And whenever he fought creeps, he was really steaming and boiling up.
Chapter 8-4: He quickly feels bad for the unintentional damage he did. Sadness was trying to be calming him down.
Chapter 8-5: He helps Sadness get up, even though he could burn her hand.
Eruptor: I’m sorry I lost my cool a lot today.
Eruptor: I just felt shocked when I got pulled away from Skylands. That even went for the other Skylanders.
Sadness: You were trying to take your mind off Skylands, were you?
Eruptor: You could say that, yes. Maybe you would want to handle this horde while I cooled for a minute.
Sadness: Yeah, I can do that.
Campaign “Hot and Cold” complete.
