Bruno

Basic Animations

Entrance: Holding his breath and crossing his fingers, Bruno enters the screen, looking around cautiously. He then exhales, pulls a tin can of salt out of his pocket, and places a trembling hand inside.

Basic Attack: Bruno shakily throws a handful of salt at the nearest group of enemies, grimacing nervously all the while, before burying his hand back inside the salt can.

Victory: Bruno breathes a sigh of relief, tosses some salt over his shoulder, dusts himself off, and places his hands on his hips, satisfied.

Defeat: Bruno falls backward before sitting back up, looking around despondently, and curls up into a defeated fetal position.

Skills

:white_circle: White Skill: A Vision! (:sparkles:)

"Bruno begins to see a vision with multiple paths, each with their own effect. The player can choose which effect this ability has. On Auto, Bruno focuses on the first vision and cycles through the others in order with each use.

Cracked Casita: All enemies take X (determined by Skill Power) Fantastic damage and are Stunned for 8 seconds. This ability deals X (determined by Skill Power) additional Fantastic damage per stack of Weakness on the target. The Stun has a chance to fail against enemies above level X.

Warm Embrace: Bruno and his allies are healed for X (determined by Basic Damage) HP and become Invincible for 6 seconds. Additionally, enemies are Blinded for 10 seconds. The Blind has a chance to fail against enemies above level X.

Snuffed Candle: All enemies’ active buffs are removed. In addition, all enemies take X (determined by Basic Damage) Fantastic damage every second for 7 seconds and are Sapped for 13 seconds. The Sap has a chance to fail against enemies above level X."

  • Animation: Bruno swiftly whips out a small table with the green glass and begins to stare. At this point, the player chooses the effect. Swirling mist then coalesces into an image. The Cracked Cosita shows the casita in ruins and sends green-tinted electrical tremors along the ground through the enemy team. The Warm Embrace shows a sisterly hug while emitting a warm and radiant light. The Snuffed Candle shows the miracle candle being blown out by a chill wind that then cuts through the enemy team.

:green_circle: Green Skill: Jorge (:fist:)

"Bruno becomes Jorge and hurls a spadeful of spackle at the frontmost enemy, dealing X (determined by Skill Power) Normal damage, knocking them back, and Snaring them for 8 seconds.

The Snare has a chance to fail against enemies above level X."

  • Animation: A bucket glitches onto Bruno’s head, who immediately stiffens up as he becomes Jorge. “Jorge” then produces a spade stacked with a giant glop of spackle, whipping the sticky paste at the enemy before the bucket glitches back out of existence and Bruno resumes his nervous demeanor.

:large_blue_circle: Blue Skill: The Rat Show! (:beginner:)

"Bruno tries to put on a show with his rat companions, Charming all enemies for 6 seconds. While Charmed, enemies deal an additional X (determined by Basic Damage) True damage with their basic attacks.

After the Charm expires, or if the Charm was avoided, enemies become Grossed Out for 9 seconds. Being Grossed Out causes the target to take 15% of their maximum HP in Fantastic damage each time they attack or use an ability.

The Charm has a chance to fail against enemies above level X."

  • Animation: A table seating several of Bruno’s rat companions glitches into existence, and Bruno proceeds to cycle through the sports, game show, and telenovela cutouts to try to entertain the enemy team. Realizing it’s not working, Bruno chuckles nervously and pockets the cutouts while the rats run away and the table glitches back out of existence.

:purple_circle: Purple Skill: Hernando

"When Bruno is crit by an enemy, he becomes Hernando, who is scared of nothing, making him immune to Flinch, Scare, and knockback effects for 6 seconds.

This effect can only be triggered once every 10 seconds and has a chance to fail against effects applied by enemies over level X."

  • Animation: Bruno’s hood glitches up over his head as he takes on a defiant stance, before pulling his hood back down and chuckling nervously.

:red_circle: Red Skill: The Family Seer

"A Vision! now also applies 5 stacks of Weakness to all enemies for 10 seconds. Enemies with Weakness take 10% increased damage per stack, to a maximum of 5 stacks.

Bruno gains a 25% chance to dodge all attacks and debuffs. Each time Bruno dodges an attack, he grants a stack of Quickness to 2 random allies. Each stack of Quickness allows the target to completely avoid one attack or debuff, to a maximum of 4 stacks.

Quickness application has a chance to fail on allies above level X."

:floppy_disk: Disk #1 - "Decoding the Future"
When your special ability involves reading the future, word about it spreads fast. Because of how hazy and ambiguous his visions are, Bruno worries that it will be difficult for his power to be put to good use in the City. This conundrum reaches intrepid inventor Gadget Hackwrench, who finds the challenge of using technology to codify and read a magic prophecy to be nothing short of exhilarating! She arranges to meet the eccentric Madrigal–not just to see the prophecy process in action, but to brainstorm ideas on how to make them more readable and helpful for the defense of the City! It might take the meeting of several heroic minds, but this is a goal worth striving for!

  • Partner:
    – Gadget
  • Allies:
    – Gizmoduck (who helps Gadget rig up a machine to upload Bruno’s prophecies into a supercomputer)
    – Kevin Flynn (who whips up a code that digitizes prophecies and uses special algorithms to piece them together)
    – Kim Possible (who uploads the data to her trusted information guru Wade, who in turn discovers that, even with his mighty intellect and Flynn’s incredible algorithms, it may just be an impossible task…)
  • Level Up:
    +X Skill Power
Jorge deals X additional damage to Snared enemies
  • Stars:
When Bruno becomes Jorge, he hurls spackle at 2 (+1 per additional star) additional targets at random. Enemies hit more than once have all their debuffs’ durations increased by 4 seconds.

:crystal_ball: Disk #2 - "Dire Omens"
When your special ability involves reading the future, word about it spreads fast. Especially among the shadier elements of society. Dr. Facilier sees this newcomer as nothing more than competition he does not want, but he’s already come up with a clever way to bump him off–the Shadow Man has heard that this lanky Colombian seer wants to use his prophecy-making skills to help others, making him such easy prey! Dr. Facilier meets with Bruno, begging and pleading for his aid, saying that his voodoo prophecies scare people away and make them believe he himself is causing their misfortunes–a stinging barb that Bruno is all too familiar with–and requests that Bruno meet with his next few clients. He’s got debts to pay, he’s in danger of losing his house, and even his family might soon be evicted…which, aside from the first, are all blatant lies to anyone who knows Dr Facilier. But since he doesn’t, Bruno agrees, taking pity on this false persona the Shadow Man is playing up and not knowing that the whole arrangement is a setup. Oh, he’s gonna cause some misfortune, alright. And he’s gonna convince 'em that Bruno is to blame! And once this newbie is run out of town, the Shadow Man will have the prophecy business locked down by himself, as he believes it should be…

  • Partner:
    – Dr. Facilier
  • Allies:
    – Captain Hook (who wants to know the best time to get revenge on that cruel, horrible, bloodthirsty Peter Pan who cut off his hand and fed it to the crocodile, completely unaware that Dr. Facilier will leak this information to the Lost Boys soon afterwards)
    – Mr. Big & Koslov (who wishes to know if his…“business investments” will progress smoothly, not knowing that the Shadow Man will then immediately sabotage the vole’s awaited shipments)
    – Demona (who knows full-well that any seer who approaches her was not only unaware of her disdain for seers, but that they would be led to her by someone who IS aware of that fact, telling Bruno that he’s being set up and takes pleasure in the idea of turning the tables on Dr. Facilier)
  • Level Up:
    +X Basic Damage
+X Skill Power to Bruno and allies
  • Stars:
Enemies affected by The Rat Show! are also Cursed and Hexed for 4 (+1 per additional star) seconds after the Charm expires or fails.

I see the potential of him and other Encanto characters to join in at some point, though it may be awhile.
