Heist Feedback Wanted!

Main feedback - it’s boring. I do it once per day purely for the Quest, and then get out as fast as possible.

Worst points about it: People joining public heists that don’t know what they’re doing, leaving posts unguarded, hitting fight within 1 second despite there being nobody at all near to help, pulling nearby heroes guarding posts away.

People joining then logging off, knowing the other people will complete the heist without them anyway.

Losing a diamond (whatever they are) as soon as starting a heist, I had one a few days ago that had a diamond stolen before heroes even got a change to arrive at the place, about 10 seconds after starting pretty much.

Rewards for completion are pathetic, you can spend about half an hour on a heist and get 250 tokens, not even enough to buy 5 chips. You can earn 1000 tokens in City watch in 5 minutes.

No option to kick people that have logged off, or consistently losing fights as they’re hitting fight when they have no back up.

And again, it’s boring - even without the issues above, it’s a real chore, I’ll only join easy heists now to get it over and done with as fast as possible. Medium and hard aren’t worth the hassle, they take too long and the rewards aren’t worth the time invested. Even on easy it can take ages as you can join a heist with 4 people and 3 of them will log out after a minute leaving two people to guard ten posts and no toons to go around collecting Intel. Absolutely mind numbing sitting there for 15 minutes waiting for the thief to get caught 5 times, cos you know you’re never finding the hideout cos you can’t move due to 3 idiots logging off. Should instantly be removed from the heist if they log off allowing someone else to join, no return of the ticket they’ve spent, and no rewards for them to log back into. People shouldn’t be rewarded purely for joining a heist and then leaving, safe in the knowledge the other players will complete it and they’ll get the exact same rewards.

yup, that’s what i mean by rating… more about your effort instead of what others think of you…super support this approach…

Ok totally agree with all this! Especially people joining and not participating. I feel they shouldn’t be rewarded especially with the harder heists!

When you join a heist and one or two of your selected heros already in the heist, you can’t select another hero, but have to quit the heist and re-join again. Why not make it that you can select another available hero and start fight to save time instead of re-join? Thanks.

My latest feedback is I want to heist again, tickets at 500 is way too much.

I have no choice but to ignore many heist invitations and guild heists now, it’s making the game much more anti-social than it was before the update.

Solo heist with no need to depend on anyone is all I need.
Let it be ~5 valuables and 15 heroes from my roster. All other rules same as for current version.

The heist is fun but people join then go do something else taking space away from people who want to get through it with all 10 valuables

I like the heist a lot. My issue is with the players that abuse the heist by jumping in on one and not participating. My suggestion would be to possibly add an inactivity timer to players so that way it forces them to play the heist the way it should be or some sort vote to kick option. I wouldn’t complain normally but seeing this issue over and over again gets frustrating. Thank you for your time.

We should be able to report players that don’t play.
Just played a Heist and no one except from me (and in the very last 30 seconds or so another player) was active.
It’s not fair that I did everything in this heist (although I wasn’t the host), and the other players got rewarded for it.
It makes Heists very unenjoyable and sometimes stressful.

Please make a way to control afk players. It’s not fair to those who actually do the heists properly.

Suggestions:

  1. Person who started the heist has kick rights. It’s their lobby.
  2. Have the people playing able to vote to kick a player.
  3. If all heroes have no activity for 30 seconds (not searching or guarding a gem) then kick player.

Please fix these issues. I enjoyed the heist when it first came out. Now it’s annoying to play.

Needed: Anchor
We need an “anchor” option in heist to prevent players from pulling our diamond guards against our will.

This will make it less frustrating, less dissent, less drama, and less stressful.

If I can get a say in this. here’s what i’m experiencing so far and What i’m suggesting.

AFK & Inactive Players, and starting heists alone - Yes this happens a lot in heists, but if they don’t get a move on, at least we should let control their heroes like what you guys said. We’re not expecting to take all the victories, and rewards away from them if we’re doing all the guarding work and We can’t pull heroes away from the valuables to come for reinforcements for thief fights unless it’s necessary or too much afk & inactive players or attempt to switch places with your own at a short amount of time and distance if a hero is close or other player’s heroes if requested, but yeah I have to agree with you guys that don’t want afk and inactive people and wanted to have auto-kick or control player’s heroes function and not to mention that the hosts go afk and inactive after starting the heist alone so there should be at least 2~5 players in the heist room (or lobby) before starting the heist and I’m pretty sure it helps restrict the host from starting up the heist if that were to be the case, but it helps though.

There should be a way for the chat to automatically go to heist once the heist starts. And have the chat pop up. I try to give hints to those players who obviously don’t know the most effective strategies (i.e. starting a fight as soon as it comes up, or pulling heroes from gems) but I doubt they even see the messages because the default chat is global or vip.

Please make it so we can leave a public heist with our heist ticket. So often none of my equal level friends or guildmates are on and able to heist so I have to join a public (gotta do the daily challenge before its too late).
So it’s fine for 4-5 minutes but then everything goes south and it turns out none of them know how to properly heist, including the leader. Well that just wasted my last ticket and now i have no tokens… It’s just disappointing that, with this new update, to avoid this problem, I’ll have to try to get myself kicked to save my ticket… because I can’t leave with my ticket…

Make it so we can leave heists with our ticket, withough having to resort to getting ourselves kicked. Even if it needs to be within the first 4 minutes of the heist or something. Because this new update, to kick afk players, won’t help us if the leader of the heist sucks or is afk.

Just a suggestion because I 100% will be using this tactic!!

Make your own Heist lobby so you can be the one in charge of the match and prevent that result.
It’s not a 100% fix, but it’s better this than nothing, the afk players were getting out of hand.
I agree at somepoint it can get frustrating to lose heists since we got enough experience and it’s very easy to understand the mechanics mode but I take an inexperience player any time than an afk one, so if you can manage to guide those who are unfamiliar with heists, eventually they can become better with our guidance and you’ll just end up make the majority reliable for your next matches.
It’s all up to you now, you’re not obligated to help anyone you don’t like and eventually kick, but for that I would give the suggestion of starting your own lobby.

I get that for sure. I just didn’t wanna have to always start my own heist and teach every heist. That’s why it would be nice to be able to leave… instead have to get myself kicked, which I’ll be doing soon  because everything you said is well and good but that’s 5 times the work for something that should be simple. I understand there are ways to avoid the problem im having with extra work but i do enough work and teaching in this game. Plus SOMEONE has to go into these public heists, you can’t just have everyone starting their own. So, to encourage that, it would be nice to be able to leave instead of what I’m going to be doing (getting myself kicked to save the ticket). Cause I shouldn’t have to teach these ppl how to play and I don’t think I should have to get kicked to save the ticket either. It almost seems glorified now, to be afk “Are you in a lobby you don’t like? just go afk”. That’s a tactic I see in a lot of games that don’t let you leave but do afk kicks (even if they’re automated kicks) good players enter, realize the ppl are bad, pick a corner and turn it off. That shouldn’t solve the problem imo, don’t reward that behaviour. That’s why i suggest being able to leave  cause I’m, 100%, not teaching every heist. I fully agree though afk has been worse than bad players FOR SURE and I’m glad they made the choice they did. I’m just saying, it seems like it’ll create a new issue. Either with players going idle to intentionally get kicked or with too many created publics with nobody going into them. That’s why I’m suggesting this, for the future. I’m happy with the update around the corner, just a suggestion for the next 1

When I do my heist it keeps freezing and reconnecting and I loose gems. It takes like 2 to 5 mins every time it reconnects and it does that 2 to 3 times per heist. The whole game never does that except on heist

Another problem that I’ve been experiencing is using low powered heroes. I’ve seen a lot of people use heroes that are below 4k power and not at purple or higher with 1-2 stars and I’ve been getting that a lot in heists. There should be a power requirement for each difficulty in addition to levels so What i’m suggesting is for easy difficulty, it has to be at least 4k power or higher and purple or higher rarity and at 3 stars or higher as well. for medium (or normal) difficulty, I would say about 8k power or higher and have to be purple +3 or higher. For Hard, well I haven’t encountered any problems since I have not yet started on this difficulty. Not to mention that we needed to use stronger heroes for heists and then people ended up using low powered heroes and not allowing us to use stronger heroes in terms of survival, stuns, and how fast these low powered heroes can get KO’d. My Guess is that these people need to strengthen their heroes up to these power requirement(s) if this were to happen.

Most frustrating is people joining and not helping. At best they move to a crystal and log out. At worst they never move a single character. Need to reward those that actually participate, maybe reduce base rewards a bit and add bonus rewards for helping.

That’s what the kick function is for. if the host is afk / inactive, there’s no way to kick them out of the heist unless we have a vote kick when the host is afk / inactive. I would highly suggest to host your own heist and start kicking out afk and inactive players. If it’s the same afk / inactive person that joined your heist before or one of your previous heist sessions, kick’em out of the heist automatically after start and 1 or 2 players join in. I know Heists can be frustrating with those kinds of people who would go afk and inactive, but that kind of behavior and action is unacceptable and they would leech off the rewards from other players during and at the end of the heists. All I can say to them is that if they don’t wanna get kicked out of the heist, don’t go afk and inactive and start contributing to the heist. If they don’t move within a few mins or assigned time other than guarding and resting for energy, they’ll be kicked out of the heist (which is the laziness reason). I always host my own heists so that way I can kick afk and inactive players out of the heist for leeching off the rewards.
