Heist Feedback Wanted!

  1. get invites out of individual PM’s. Make a heist invite channel. You’ve essentially rendered the pm system useless right now.

  2. diamonds need a visible queue for guarded/unguarded. You black them out for stolen, blink for unguarded, or blue for guarded. Something.

  3. rewards for guarding and contribution. Your current system rewards sniping and afk behavior, so we see a lot.

  4. too many off duty heroes. The algebra of 20 unique heroes is already tough enough

  5. lock at least theif/hideout fights to the host option.

Overall an enjoyable clever mode.

It’s not for me. Requires way too much attention for a game that I only really play when on a train into or from work. That said I can see why others like it.

Things I’ve noticed -

Instant Valuable Theft - Within pretty much the first few seconds of the game, the thief steals a valuable with zero time for anyone to even try to guard them.

Hard Mode - Top Ten guild and we actively avoid hard because of the difficulty. Maybe this will change at lv 80 (server 2), but for right now, its too tough.

AFK - People enter in with their free heist and flat out AFK providing no help at all. There needs to be an option or action that allows others to control their characters. This is going to be a large problem going into the future.

Zeroing In Is Useless - In ALL of the times I’ve done heist so far, not once have I discovered the hideout (Easy and Medium mind you). Every single time, we’ve ended up beating the thief into a pulp to win. The amount of points to zero in, I feel anyways, needs to be lowered drastically so its at least an option to win this way. With AFKs and people entering into games late in its life cycle, it might as well not even be an option to win right now.

Other than those things, I’ve had a good time with Heist

In general I like the heist but two thing are making them frustrating. 1. Too much assaults by random enemies several times with one hero and 2. The hideout 15min of good gameplay, teamwork and fun destroyed by a loss in the hideout often by someone who simply can’t wait for good heroes only the host should be allowed to fight or should appoint some of the team to the fight so he gets more control of his opend game. This is even difficult to communicate in a guild because hideout loss kills all the fun and effort

Still a lot of afkers in Heist. It really sucks.

There’s also no incentive to guard the valuables. You are actively taking away your chance at earning points via ambushes because that’s one or more characters trying to help not get items stolen.

I say kill two birds with one stone.

Instead of the bonus points you get being based on how many battles one of your characters has been in, make it a participation award. Give some points for checking the various spots, and give points for time spent guarding valuables.

And if someone literally does nothing for more than a couple minutes, boot them out of the group, refund the ticket to them, and let the active players find a new member.

And unrelated tothat, I have another gripe.

There needs to be a reasonable grace period from the startof the battle before the thief can steal. I don’t know how many times I’ve lost a treasure the moment I load up a fresh heist.

Server 8 here. A few suggestions:

  1. Allow organizer to set a (higher) minimum level for player or heros, or establish minimum power on hero’s.
  2. Don’t give any hero’s the day off on Easy mode. Do some on Medium and/or more on hard.
  3. The fight button for ambush or hideout should be locked so only the player who is controlling the hero who found it can activate it for the first half of the timer or 30 seconds.
  4. Just for fun: create a new mode called “Fight mode.” So you have easy, medium, hard, and Fight. Fight mode should be every point of interest is a fight instead of searching. Game mechanics after that could go a number of ways. Could be like group citywatch where you go until you die (or win). Or could be same concept as regular heist but mor active. Anyway… Fight mode should just be open on weekends… to give something neat to do when people are off of work and school. You guys do unlock Trials and Ports on the weekend but its not really additional gameplay for those of us with de facto unlimited raid tix.

I love the heist however I have some suggestions…

I really wish there could be a system put in place to add a minimum power level for heroes in medium and hard difficulty. Someone joined a medium heist with at least 2 characters with powers of 800 to 900 ish that instantly died in every fight.

I would also like to suggest an afk system where the player gets booted from the heist if there is no activity from them. They basically get to receive the rewards from doing absolutely nothing. It is frustrating for the rest of the team who are actively trying to win.

I totaly agree with these things, i have been in hiest were my hero is the one that will be the first one in the fight and only my heros are around it and someone takes the fight. Server 8 here too. Also i like the off duty part because in easy hiest there are going to be lower level players and they will not have as many heros.

Yoooo! Can we get a quit button in the heist? Like if we want to leave in the middle of the heist because these people do not know what they are doing !!! We should have a quit button for heist.

There must be a way to kick players that are scamming heist coins by joining and not participating. They take up a valuable space and the
N sit back and reap the rewards. It is definitely deliberate!

Either there has to be a way to do it by the organiser or for the system to do it automatically if it detects they are not online. Please advise how you are looking to handle this unsportsmanlike conduct!

From server 2:

  1. Please set buttom for host of heist to kick anyone who join just receive reward and do nothing. I used to join the heist with 5 ppl but only me play till the last thief life of Medium Heist. Too annoy about this. That’s suck !!!

  2. Please let me know who press button Fight. All team tried and the end and SO press fight immediatelly when see button in thief fight and especially hideout although only wallE there. Of course we lost after 15 mins investigated.

  3. If any, plz set buttom review whom just joined heist with and button block this player in the next heist.

Suggestion related to Heist, buy not it’s actual gameplay. Please make a way to remove heist invite/complete notifications from PM’s. I have a few friends/guildmates who send invites a lot and our PMs are almost exclusively heist notifications. Then to clear the PM I have to scroll down to the bottom of the PM, which can take a while.

Okay it’s a total bug that in 9/10 heists the theif steals a diamond almost immediately as soon as the heist starts. Can we have an update to fix this bug? We need at least 15 seconds to move characters to cover the diamonds once the heist is started.

1 other point, i’ve been in a couple heists where we get to max clues, and just can’t find the hideout. Once you hit full max clues, maybe stop spawning new POIs w/in the circle so the hideout can be nailed down.

Just finished a 35(!) minute heist.

I love heist… but irritating players(free loaders, trigger happy, guard stealers) are spoiling the mood. Some added features that could b included…

1.Show information of who started fight
2.Add heist ratings to players
3.Only allow host to engage hideout or nominate a player to engage…

  1. Good idea, it would be nice to have it as a means of being accountable.
  2. Not a fan of this one however, could be abused and leave good players getting poor ratings, could you imagine a disgrunted ex guild member, or a guild unhappy with an old member?
  3. I wish hosts had the first opportunity to take on the hideout too. If a minute passes then it’s open for anyone…just in case the host happens to go afk.

I just played my last heist game completely by myself even though I had a full team. Is there a way to kick idle players or at least use their characters? The heist is my favorite part but I’m about done playing it solo when everyone gets rewards.

I like the idea of a heist rating, but it shouldn’t be something other players can affect. It could be a rating based on fights started with a win/loss score, actions per minute (investigating, sending support to fights, etc.) where idle time would then lower your overall score. I’m putting together a more comprehensive post on this idea that I’ll link from here.
