Speaking of which, is there an approval process of which heroes get emojis?
Also, I know this was already said, but will there be more hero balancements? Kim desperately needs her numbers up and chesire needs his numbers on his green DOWN.
We have a pretty in-depth QA process. QA starts looking at features mid-development, and there’s several weeks of QA after the feature is deemed “dev complete” where the feature is focused only on bugfixing. We try our best to recreate the live game environment in our testing but it’s not always possible, and in truth there is always going to be some amount of unpredictability about how the new feature will interact with a breathing, ever-moving live game. For what it’s worth, everyone on the team participates in some kind of QA along the feature creation process, and we also have postmortems after every release to identify what went wrong and why, and how we can make sure it doesn’t happen again. Many issues are one-time occurrences that are kind of like “freak accidents”, others we implement new processes or checks for when we develop something similar in the future. And always, we take bugs very seriously and do our best to improve our player experience!
Do you guys ever have character designing events in the forum? I do a lot of it myself and am a little interested to hear how my ideas flow with others
This community is fantastic! We’re all so happy to see it thrive and grow as we all become a much stronger close knit community tied together by our love for Disney
While not exactly a fun and relaxed question, I think this is a pretty important question in the long run for Disney Heroes. I wonder if the badge cost per character could be changed to not be higher than 12% at least as we need about 6.6%-6.7% for 1 character if we are going to keep up with 15 characters at once, so could this be possible?
Based on the estimated data I gathered we should likely be over 15% of the max stamina gain per month for 1 character.
186768 = Estimated calculated max stamina per month.
110000 = Logically guessing the badge costs at around R15.
x 0.33 and 0.25 = Logically guessing the actual stamina cost considering likely cut cost by badges you already own. 0.33 pick to represents base costs with already owned badges, 0.25 with extras that has reduced the needed grind amount.
x 5, 10 and 15 = Calculated costs per the amount of characters.
The most left numbers: The amount you have left or missing if - is before number.
In order to keep up with 15 characters at once, the costs for 1 character can
probably only be around 6-7% of the total free stamina for it to be possible given what I have found. Other ---- / 15 = – have also usually given around 6-7%
186768 / 15 = 12451(6.6%).
110000 x 0.33 = 36300 | 186768(100%) - 36300(19%) = 150468(80%)
36300 x 5 = 181500 | 186768(100%) - 181500(97%) = 5268(2.8%)
36300 x 10 = 363000 | 186768(100%) - 363000(194%) = -176232(-94%)
36300 x 15 = 544500 | 186768(100%) - 544500(291%) = -357732(-191%)
Manageable: 5-6 heroes with this cost and stamina gain.
110000 x 0.25 = 27500 | 186768(100%) - 27500(14%) = 159268(85%)
27500 x 5 = 137500 | 186768(100%) - 137500(73%) = 49268(26%)
27500 x 10 = 275000 | 186768(100%) - 275000(147%) = -88232(-47%)
27500 x 15 = 412500 | 186768(100%) - 412500(220%) = -225732(-120%)
Manageable: 6-7 heroes with this cost and stamina gain.
So yeah, something has to be done if we are supposed to be able to keep up with 15 characters, so as such also I wonder if F2Pers are meant to be able to keep up 15 characters, or if only whales are meant to keep up with 15 characters?
At least I would like your thoughts on these calculations for the stamina and badge costs as if these numbers are close to the truth, then the people who are F2P aren’t really able to keep up no matter how hard they try.
Based on the player vote/responses here most people aren’t able to keep up with much more than 1-5 characters at high/near max level, even though the goal in the game seems to be that we should be able to keep up with 15 characters at least.
Weird question but, hear me out…
What if there was a game mode where you were matched with other players and endless waves of creeps generated. The last player standing wins prizes. The others win a few prizes as well. It could be really good for late game progression!
What do you think?
