Luisa and Fear are now friends!
Luisa: These creeps sure keep coming. Why aren’t you fighting back?
Fear: Because I don’t want to be turned into one of them, again.
Fear: It’s already bad enough that I was part of them once. But this City keeps giving me shivers!
Luisa: Skittish one, are you? Though, we might have a bit in common.
Luisa: Between you and me. I’m nervous about arriving in the City too.
Fear: Really? Well, it’s nice to meet someone who feels scared too. I’m Fear by the way.
Luisa: I can see why they call you that. I’m Luisa. Luisa Madrigal.
Campaign Story: Fear has to partner up with Luisa on her patrol.
Fear: Alright, hopefully, I’m partnered up with someone on patrol today.
Fear: Let’s see… looks like I’m with someone named… Luisa Madrigal.
Chapter 1: Uneasy First Glance
Chapter 1-1: Judy reveals to Fear that he’ll be with one of the newcomers to the City for patrol today.
Chapter 1-2: Fear becomes nervous as he’s never heard of Luisa before.
Chapter 1-3: Before Judy could explain more, the ZPD is attacked by creeps.
Chapter 1-4: But the creeps were knocked back left and right by some big punches.
Chapter 1-5: When the dust settles, Luisa was left standing.
Luisa: Whew, those creeps got the drop on me on the way. I’m not late am I, Officer Hopps?
Judy: No, no. You’re actually on time.
Judy: Anyway, Luisa, this is Fear. He’ll be joining you on your patrol.
Fear: Hi… * waves his hand lightly *
Chapter 2: Bumpy Stroll
Chapter 2-1: Luisa holds out her hand to shake Fear. But he was hesitant, due to her sudden strength.
Chapter 2-2: The strong woman quickly brushes it off and they leave the ZPD.
Chapter 2-3: As they stroll downtown, Luisa spots some creeps wandering around aimlessly.
Chapter 2-4: She gets their attention by pounding on the ground, much to Fear’s shock.
Chapter 2-5: Fear gets behind Luisa if things go awry.
Fear: Luisa, what’re you doing?!
Luisa: Uh, challenging these creeps to battle.
Fear: But you just got here! You may not be strong to fight them.
Luisa: Well, you’d be surprised at what I can do.
Chapter 3: Punch Back
Chapter 3-1: Luisa immediately throws a diving punch at a Ghoul, knocking them down.
Chapter 3-2: It wasn’t long before more creeps surrounded her. But Luisa was ready.
Chapter 3-3: Fear tries to escape, but the creeps have formed a barrier around the heroes.
Chapter 3-4: Fear releases a high-pitched scream that stops the creeps in place.
Chapter 3-5: This gives Luisa the chance to fight back.
Luisa: You always scream that loud?
Fear: A lot, you could say.
Luisa: Man, Dolores’s ears would be ringing if she heard that.
Chapter 4: Creepy Risks
Chapter 4-1: After defeating the horde, Luisa and Fear head to the Covered Market.
Chapter 4-2: More creeps have been invading the place lately.
Chapter 4-3: Cracking her knuckles, Luisa jumps into the fray with Fear watching.
Chapter 4-4: But as Fear watched Luisa battle. He could see she was feeling stressed out.
Chapter 4-5: He anxiously walks up to her just as she finishes the last creep.
Fear: Uh, Luisa. Are you feeling fine?
Luisa: Yeah, I’m fine. I need to focus if another horde approaches.
Friend Level 7 Dialogue
Luisa: Fear, have you even considered taking a stand against your fears?
Fear: Well, I’ll have you know that running away from a fight has always been successful.
Fear: Now, you might think living on the edge is fun, but it isn’t.
Luisa: True. But sometimes I need some excitement to keep me going.
Chapter 5: Sensing Fear
Chapter 5-1: Just as they left the Covered Market, Fear saw Luisa’s eye twitching.
Chapter 5-2: Fear decides he’s gonna find out what’s making Luisa bottled up.
Chapter 5-3: But the more Fear tried to talk to Luisa. The more she brushes it off.
Chapter 5-4: Normally, Fear would let people be. But he could tell the Madrigal was hiding something.
Chapter 5-5: Luisa, on the other hand, was getting annoyed by Fear.
Luisa: Look, I told you. I’m alright.
Fear: You keep saying that, but I know you’re hiding something.
Fear: Trust me. I know when someone is feeling scared.
Chapter 6: Breaking Point
Chapter 6-1: Luisa keeps on dismissing Fear’s questions if she is alright.
Chapter 6-2: Before Fear can ask again, they were spotted by creeps.
Chapter 6-3: Luisa fights as hard as she can but was starting to get overwhelmed.
Chapter 6-4: Fear thinks fast and grabs Luisa’s hand and runs out of the horde.
Chapter 6-5: Once again, Fear noticed Luisa’s eye twitching.
Fear: Look, it isn’t good for you to just bottle up your feelings.
Luisa: For the last time. I’m good.
Fear: But if you could just tell me why you’re-
Luisa: NOTHING IS WRONG!!!
Chapter 7: Letting It Out
Chapter 7-1: Fear was frozen stiff by Luisa’s sudden outburst.
Chapter 7-2: Realizing what she just did, Luisa decides to come clean.
Chapter 7-3: Luisa tells Fear that she was only pressuring herself so that she didn’t feel weak.
Chapter 7-4: Since arriving in the City. She felt more pressured to make sure her family was safe.
Chapter 7-5: Now getting an understanding, Fear speaks up.
Fear: I… I think you’re carrying WAY too-
Luisa: * grabs Fear in a hug *
Fear: Muuucccchhhh!
Luisa: Maybe I’m, uh, overdoing it… a bit.
Fear: Ok. Can you, um, let me go now?
Friend Level 10 Dialogue
Fear: So let me get this straight. Everyone in your family other than your abuela has a special gift.
Luisa: Yep. All except Mirabel.
Fear: Why not her?
Luisa: As far as I know, it was that Abuela was afraid of losing the miracle each time one of us was given a gift.
Luisa: Probably better if you ask Mirabel for the whole story.
Chapter 8: Relieving Burdens
Chapter 8-1: Luisa sets Fear down and brushes him off.
Chapter 8-2: Fear could also see where Luisa meant when she wanted to protect her family. He too wants to make sure his friends were safe.
Chapter 8-3: Feeling relieved that someone understands her. Luisa decides that’ll do it for their patrol.
Chapter 8-4: While the City is still new to Luisa and her family. She now knows others will help them.
Chapter 8-5: As the two leave the Park. Fear runs up to Luisa.
Fear: You know, if you want. We can meet up on patrol again.
Luisa: You sure? I don’t want you to feel scared.
Fear: I appreciate your concern for me. But by now, I’ve seen far scarier things.
Luisa: Alright, I’ll consider it then. See you around, Fear.
Fear: You too, Luisa.
