Server Merge Discussion: December 2019

Hey @Polaris, I’ve had people come to me and tell me they’ve had their account creation dates just a few days after mine and they were allowed to consolidate. Also had people who made accounts a while ago and never used them except to get the rewards from the server contest and they were merged too.

Well now, this seems to be an interesting topic.

Here is what I have noticed so far to summarize:

Some people are upset that they cannot get their accounts consolidated after making them with the sole purpose to have those rewards added to their other account after the server merge. These same people who did that for that sole purpose, are trying to understand how they are any different from people who made accounts beforw they even knew there would be a server merge, which means they didn’t even know they would ever be able to gain all those extra rewards.

@Polaris says that new accounts are not supposed to be allowed to be created, and that the bug that allowed it to happen was not discovered until after the server merge was already complete. They then point out that it is not fair to allow some people take advantage of this bug, while not everyone had the ability too.

For some reason, these people who had no oter intent but to gain extra rewards, cannot understand that. :confused:

I am concerned that I am misunderstanding something. I have one account that was on server 4 and another that was on server 2. I made them ages ago a few months after I started playing. I have requested that the accounts be merged, but I didn’t get a responsible to my request for about 4 days.

I requested again, is there a way to get a message into my inbox in the game saying if the request has been received and everything has been stated correctly so that the accounts can be merged? I would recommend this so that players know that their request is going to go through.

If you submitted a support ticket with all the necessary information, we will get to you as soon as we can. We have a lot of requests and we’re processing them as quickly as possible. If you can see your request when you open the support option in the game, your ticket is in the queue. Please don’t send in multiple messages - that just slows us down!

Again, this type of message could be stated in a new top-level announcement so people could know this information. Having to deep dive through 200 replies to find relevant information doesn’t help the players.

I feel that adds the information from the last two sentences of your post to the main post regarding how to consolidate multiple accounts would be really helpful. I thought that I had not done it correctly because it had been more than 3 days. I don’t mind that it takes a few days, I just wanted to have some confirmation that it was in line to be processed. Now that is clear I am happy.
