State of the Game - August 2020

After the update server 21 level 139. the daily quest adds 15 stamina a pop and the rate of increase of stamina get approximately 587 over the old 400 a day. I DO NOT THINK PER BLUE HAS HEARD US.

It went from 235 to 250 stamina fixed!

My bad i was at 175 for a 15 stam boost. I guess I gave them too much credit

The stamina still seems way too low for F2P player especially for someone whose on the first 7 servers.

1500 approx is max stamina now, good thing there. However, still not enough compensation for 13k badges. Stamina buys through diamond is still same so its still kinda pointless to try and get badges for red ranks.

Id rather focus on my lower ranked character’s if im honest.

So my question is @Polaris, are the dev team looking into a good revamp on stamina and ranks?? They coincide with each other and its still a big problem even with this update.

@Professor_Fidget_IX While we F2Pers likely need more to keep up, but it should be a lot more easier and doable to find a balance now and at least for me the stamina increase is about x2.5 overall :-).

The way I go about things are that I farm the 6 stamina costing badges and buy the 10+ stamina badges or get them through crates, this way I save a lot of stamina and work.
If Badge Boosters Crates become more available again or the Special Badges Crates like Hero Chip Crates come back more again I think we should get a more healthy balance again :-).

Another option rank wise would be to reduce the bit amount for Purple, Orange and Red in terms rank levels you have already cleared, especially in terms of Purple Badges as I don’t really understand why we should still farm 50 badge bits for a Purple Badge when they are no longer the highest color rank in the game.

But yes, further improvements in terms of the gain and cost of stamina in order to have an optimal balance, since optimally we should be able to keep up with at least 5 characters per month as that’s our main characters.

Ranks or stamina needs reworking for sure… hero count and what’s involved in each progression is getting a bit silly.

@Professor_Fidget_IX I think the best would likely be to deflate the stamina costs rather than having a lot of inflation in terms of the stamina we gain.
The best way to go about this would likely be to reduce the bit amount needed to craft a badge and secondly increase the drop chances.

And when thinking about it, having a new game mode where you can work to get badges or at least badge bits you need could be pretty cool if done right :-).
Not sure how it would be like, but it is an idea that could be cool and help the grind.

Something like -

The Mutation Station !!

The scientists of the city have successfully harnessed the power of the Virus & transformed it into a bit-munching, badge crunching solution to power up your heroes!

  • Deposit bits into the Mutation Station - up to X amount of X unique bits can be deposited at a time.

  • The virus will bind to & multiply your bits - bits will multiply at a rate of X.

  • Only X bits can be stored in the Mutation Station at once - after the limit is reached, they must either be crafted into badges or returned to your Bag.

  • Badges crafted in the Mutation Station have an X% chance to create an additional, duplicate badge! (This value of X can be upgraded like Diamond Crate levels by repeated use of the Station).

  • After bits are returned to your bag or crafted into badges, the same bit cannot be deposited for X time period while the Virus recovers & is restored back to it’s initial state.


Kinda like how organic viruses/bacteria can multiply and also modify living cells, with bits of inspiration from Pokemon Day Care & DS double crafting events… :man_shrugging::smile:

That’s a pretty interesting and cool idea, definitely something that could make the badge grind a bit easier and help a fair amount :-).

And just to hear, is this feature only meant for single badges or all type of badges that has other badges it needs to be made? Some badges have chains of badge requirements, so a bit unsure.
I assume at least that single material badges like Love Bug should be fine, but badges that need some extra combining like Triton’s Trident I am not sure on, but of course could maybe be updated to be able to take smaller chains of badges that need some combining in order to be completed.
Of course this depends on how it is setup of course.

But yeah, I definitely support the idea and hope we can get something like it in the future :-).

Well I m truly happy that We are getting 660 free stamina, I really thank PB For this change.
And It would be a slight beneficial!!
But Not Gonna Lie Stamina That generates over time is no Profit for F2p/ Stamina hoarders!

S21-22 are getting “5” increase stamina

Its supposed to be the server the closes the f2p-p2p gap according to them in state of the game

Yet its the server where f2p are getting the worse increases :+1:

We went from 175-190. So all in all, 50 more daily stamina total

Server 9: we went from 230 to 660. Better than expected.

I don’t understand why you stick so adamantly to your 5 characters calculation.
For War, Coli and Invasion you need at least 15 - 20, and some special Invasion additions like Elastigirl, Gizmo, Mr. Inc. Usually they’re not very good in other game modes.
Bringing 5 heroes to a current rarity per month is far not enough to have a somewhat tolerable game experience in regards to other game modes like CW and Heist and obtaining red skills.
You’re too deep in this game not to know it.
I get it that you are trying to be very balanced in your approach to critize PerBlue. But fact denying won’t help the matter imho.
If you’re working on friendships you need more than 60 in somewhat playable shape. Look at the latest level requirements to unlock friendships on S5 for newer heroes, for example Puuh or Mulan.
Do you expect to finish friendships with lvl1 white chars? Or do you expect ftp people not taking part in obtaining friendships? I oppose the idea that only 5 viable heroes per month are a goal.
If you look on rankings on S5 with the strongest player having 67 mil total power and the average ftp guy you get my point

Yeah this is the problem, same as S2 - as a very active vip 9 player who hasn’t spent in a long time, I’m just scraping 15m and like 20 “usable” heroes (though most of those are R8-R9). True F2P players can’t have more than like, maybe 10m? They’ve experienced around 1/7th of the game :grimacing:

I dont mind new playere catching up if the new players deals helped player for 15 usd to carch up to the previous rank and then they ve to work and everyone would pay the 15 usd a month to get all heros previous cap

But current prices make few who come with 0 time jump to first with one meta team and just bully everyone to submission with money…

I am a spender i spend 3k on my first month and i stopped…

Game being unfair makes uncoureging to spend
I spent to catch up and found myself ahead…

Its a game supposed to be a guilty pleasure a hobby a fun time…

But its not fun if it is not fair…
