Yeah Maximus needs a small nerf or needs a actual counter. I used to have some luck with Ian when he could shrink Maximus but that is rubbish now since they changed Ian shrink move.
You really notice how OP Maximus is when in war he is off duty. Every one on both sides have struggled with Maximus usually on hero left which shows he is OP
Hiro literally is a counter to Maximus if you can use him
I’m curious as to how Hiro is an effective counter to Maximus, though I’m guessing it’s something to do with Megabot.
Basically, Max can’t kill Megabot of a well built Hiro. So he won’t get to hurt your backliners. Hiro himself can also deal quite a lot of damage as his BD isn’t the highest so he isn’t permanently studied usually
