They have moved Tiers. They were at 5th and now are at 2nd to make it easier for others to achieve.
So why can’t be there another 10-15 on 5th tier, just like badges crates being split–
no fun allowed, I guess… considering the first “nerf” was coincidentally after the first merge announcement and coincidentally the second “nerf” was after the final merge announcement saddens me…

I wouldn’t mind the number of cosmetic crates we can earn being reduced, if their contents / drop rates were re-evaluated to better keep up - both with new ranks & heroes (and thus cosmetics), and also with players at a decent cosmetic level
There are so many cosmetics to get, and for some reason rolling a locked one still seems to be a rare occurrence 
I must have opened many hundreds or even thousands, since the cosmetics became exclusively crate based, yet am nowhere remotely close to completing the majority of collections available other than those I’d already finished

I wouldn´t mind if they had at least 25% chance to drop something I don´t have. But getting 0-1 new in 10 crates is… sad.

Is this a joke? How much feedback do you need to move contest announcements back to being a good experience, instead of the purely negative one that they currently are?
You split badge booster crates across tiers… great!
But where are the 20 or so that where redistributed to trials? It was announced those won’t happen again soon, so why would you not increase those crates again?
Also, how long does it take for the team to realize 40k disk power, <30M gold and 55 red skill crates(for the winner, lol) are not a relevant reward! The amount is far! too low.
And additionally having the ranked reward only being focused on the hero, without mod power, disk power or similar is also very underwhelming.

Like, I know some people literally throw money at the company, but that doesn´t mean they are happy about it. And when they are no longer willing to throw…

I’m finding it really hard to put my feelings about these progress rewards into words. I mean, the gold and XP on the first tier for server 2 is fine, and while I hate to see the reduction in cosmetic crates, I suppose it could be argued that having 10 at a lower tier helps more people than having 25 at the top tier.
But then there’s the disk power, just 50,000; even for casual or newer players, that’s not very much, and for players at the server cap it’s a joke, not even enough to advance one disk two levels near the cap. But, again, it’s disk power, there’s never been enough of it so why should anyone expect that to change now.
What’s galling, though, is the change in the badge booster crates. Before the “redistribution”, there were 15 at the 500,000 point tier, and 30 at the 1M point tier. Now someone has to reach 1M points just to get 15 crates; if they’re only able to reach the halfway mark, now they only get 6 crates. Players who score between 375,000 and 499,999 points in a contest now get one or three crates instead of zero, but I seriously doubt that makes up for all the players getting fewer crates for scoring 500,000 or more. And getting one or two trials a month, whenever they come back, isn’t going to make up for that difference either.
I knew, when the badge booster crate “redistribution” was mentioned, that players like myself would see a reduction in their crates, but I thought at least some effort would be made to make them more available to whales and/or new/casual players. As things stand right now, though, I don’t see any other place they’ve been redistributed to, and nothing in the roadmap that gives hope of awarding more at a later date.
So, yeah, not feeling good about this. Even a vague “we’re working on a new mode/event that will award more badge crates sometime this year” would at least give me some cautious hope, but that’s more than I can expect right now.

Every contest gets worse and worse!!! You’re getting all this feedback that contest rewards are failing and everyone is getting pissed off and what do you do, make them even worse. It is really showing how patheticly little you all care about the people who play your game! Keep it up much longer and I forsee a mass exodus of players leaving this game

I’ve been assuming that this chopping & changing of reward tier prizes etc. is essentially for testing purposes, with PB trying different things to see how it affects player tier completion / contest performance.
I still hope that to be the case, and believe that in the end we will have whichever setup performs best for PB. Hopefully that’s also a good setup for the players, because I don’t think that the current one is, particularly

The other unfavorable point about spreading the badge crates this way would seem to be that some of these tiers now have less prizes in, because the badge crate has taken the place of something else (where it was previously only in 1 or 2 tiers)

I liked 15 at 3rd tier and 30 at last tier the most. Personally.
I know it might be a bit much for the team, but it wasn´t.

well, the badge crates worked the best for F2Ps… so yeah giving it at last tier was kinda pointless… still 45 were helpful to loyal players… and whales could not use them properly anyway
It’s like they were trying to be cute with the 1-5 badge crates as rewards. Players are getting tired of cute. If I’m going to work hard in the contests, I don’t want what essentially amounts to about 1/3 of the most coveted reward as compared to previous contests, especially with the new Prize Wall showing up!
The rewards are horrible. And splitting badge booster crates is not encouraging or anything, instead it makes the rewards wayyyy underwhelming 
we went from 45 to 15, being lied to and now this?
Other rewards are horrible too. How are 50k diskpower, 1 guaranteed cosmetic crate helpful in any way???
Like Numi said, the timing of contest rewards reduction and server merge are weirdly coincidental which makes it hard to believe they have to nothing to dow ith each other
