I think Treasure Planet is a fine movie and an interesting adaptation of Treasure Island; the anime-inspired designs are wonderful, the animation is excellent, and the vocal performances are all top-notch, especially Brian Murray as Silver and David Hyde-Pierce as Dr. Doppler. Just ignore Alyssa1, who’s solely driven by jealousy over Frozen getting the success and adoration that Treasure Planet deserved.

I cannot understand why you need to hate on Frozen while sharing your love for Treasure Planet. I would like to know why you love TP without putting any hate on Frozen. We all have films that we do not like or even hate made by Disney, but your thread is not the place for it. This thread is to appreciate and share the love for TP, which I unfortunately cannot see much of, even in your posts.

We are all Disney fans. As a fanbase, we have our many differences, including those involving opinion. If someone is not willing to hear other’s opinions, then we need to take a step back and move on. We need to respect other opinions, but that does not mean we need to agree with the person/people. I am positive that every Disney film (past, present, future) is made with love and care, and each one appeals to different people (or audience) in a large wonderful variety of ways. Even if you are a fan of one movie or Disney related thing, you are a Disney fan. What makes Disney fans REAL is their love for whatever Disney things they enjoy, however they decide to share it with the world. However REAL Disney fans also do this:

We aren’t any of (that list)
We just all have different opinions and all like different films, so we can see why you love a particular film (TP) but we are just asking that you be more respectful of those that like different films (for example frozen)

You could try being nice
Like I don’t like Stitch but I know lots of people here on the forum do, for example @TherMasterStitch does and I fully support him and his Stitch appreciation thread
Just like you could say, “I don’t like frozen but I can understand how a Disney film is so close to your heart, just as TP is to me” then you acknowledge other people’s views without offending them
