Welcome to the Disney Heroes: Battle Mode 5.0 Update! This release features Tiana plus a number of improvements and bug fixes.
Overview
- New! Tiana from Disney’s The Princess and the Frog
Tiana
Tiana is a powerful ”Support” hero on the Red team. We’re excited to announce Tiana as our 5th Anniversary giveaway hero starting May 18th!
Skills
Almost There
Passive: Instead of doing damage, Tiana’s basic attacks Heal an ally for a percentage of their Max HP. Tiana will always target the ally with the lowest percent of their Max HP.
Active: Tiana motivates her allies, giving them all a Basic Damage increase, Skill Power increase, and a shield worth a percentage of the target’s Max HP for a duration.
Flight of the Fireflies
Tiana dances as her firefly friends fly through the enemy line, dealing Fantastic Damage, removing buffs from each enemy, and decreasing enemies’ Armor and Reality by a percentage for a few seconds.
Jazz Jamboree
Tiana calls in her friend Louis who dances through the enemy line playing his trumpet! All enemies take Normal Damage and are Stunned for a duration. For each enemy Stunned with this skill, Tiana and her allies each gain a stack of Hardy.
Hard Work
Once per wave, Tiana can use this skill to save an ally from being KO’d and bring their HP back to max. After doing this, Tiana’s Max HP increases by a percentage for the rest of the wave. All other times when this skill is used, Tiana Cleanses her allies and increases their Armor and Reality for a duration. This can only be triggered once every few seconds.
Dreams Do Come True
When Tiana motivates her allies with Almost There she also grants them stacks of Determination.Tiana now increases all allies’ Max HP for a few seconds with Flight of the Fireflies.

Determination is a new Buff being added to the game that is exclusive to Tiana! Each stack of Determination reduces one instance of Normal or Fantastic Crit to regular Normal or Fantastic damage.

Patch Season 7 Information
With Season 6 of Patch crossing the finish line; we’re excited to announce our plans for Season 7. We’re grateful for all the wonderful feedback that the Patch system has received from the community, and can’t wait to implement more improvements!
The seventh Season of Patch will begin after the release of the 5.0 update and will run for 4 weeks. After the update goes live, you’ll be able to see the season’s Featured Franchises but the Franchise Trials won’t be available until 9:00 AM CT the next morning.
This season introduces 18 new Heroes into the Patchable Hero pool, spanning 3 Franchises:

- Mickey and Friends
- Wreck-It Ralph
This Season will raise the Max Patch Level to 15, introducing the third Patch Talent for all of your Patched Heroes! You’ll now be able to collect Tier 3 Patch Essence from the Franchise Trials! Tier 3 Patch Essence is vital since it’s required to unlock and power up the third Patch Talent.
On top of the new season, we’ve got a handful of improvements to the Patch System that we’re excited to share with you:

- This now remains anchored to the top of the list as you scroll through your Collection of Heroes
- Tapping the ‘i’ button now displays the Patch Power Tooltip rather than opening the Patch Overview window

Bug Fixes
Please note that we’re continuing to implement improvements to increase in-game performance on iOS and Android. We will provide updates as in-game solutions are implemented.
- Resolved a crash during Statler & Waldorf’s Friendship Mission
- Fixed irregular behavior where Gold Boosters wouldn’t calculate rewards correctly
- Fixed an issue where Miguel’s Green Skill was failing to target non-damage role Heroes correctly when valid non-damage Heroes were available.
- Donald’s Purple Skill should now function correctly all of the time, not just with charmed targets.
- Fixed an issue with Joy’s Red Skill failing to prevent cleanses from certain heroes
- Resolve an issue where WALL-E/ Kevin Flynn Friendship Disc wouldn’t trigger correctly
- Patched an issue where Reality Blight would occasionally stack instead of refreshing
- Fixed an issue where King Triton would damage his allies
