Disney Heroes: Battle Mode Update 5.5.02-B

Welcome to the Disney Heroes: Battle Mode 5.5.02-B Update! This release features Patch Season 13, Challenger Season 49, and New Shop Rotation! The next client update has been pushed back by 1 week.

Patch Season 13 Information

Season 12 of Patch is drawing to a close, and we’re excited to unveil our incredible Season 13 plans!

The Thirteenth Season of Patch will begin after the release of the 5.5.02-B update and will run for 4 weeks. After the update goes live, you’ll be able to see the season’s Featured Franchises but the Franchise Trials won’t be available until 9:00 AM CT the next morning.

This season introduces 11 new Heroes into the Patchable Hero pool, spanning 5 Franchises:

  • Kim Possible
  • American Dragon: Jake Long
  • Onward
  • The Jungle Book
  • A Bug’s Life

Improvements

Hero Improvements

The following heroes will be refreshed with the upcoming Patch Season. We’re working on getting the details ready for you, but in the meantime, here is the list of heroes getting a refresh next week:

New Guild Perks

  • Added 5 levels to Car Bonuses 1-6
  • Added 1 level for the Guild Influence Storage perk
  • We reduced the cost of the previous 3 batches of perks by 80%

New Hero Locations and Content Adjustments

Please note the heroes in the Elite Campaign have been slightly adjusted.

  • Kuzco will be available in the Battle Pass
  • Rose will be an IAP exclusive hero
  • Slinky Dog will replace Snow White in the City Watch Shop
  • Cheshire Cat will replace Namaari in the Surge Shop

  • Timon & Pumbaa will replace Jim Hawkins in the Coliseum Shop
  • Abu will replace Mayor Bellwether in the Heist Shop

This sure is fun. Kim Possible for buffs!
Hopefully Shego will return to meta. Same with Bagheera and King Louie.

Again? And why he isn’t getting buff? Seems pointless. Should be Basil.

So we’ve now covered all the franchises, and are circling back around to the first ones patched. I assume the wildcard heroes will be included in next month’s patch pool, and hopefully either Zootopia or Incredibles heroes will round out the selection for patch trials and buffs. (please let Nick be buffed, please let Nick be buffed…)

And so we’ve come full circle with Challenger heroes, putting the very first one back in that slot. I’m glad to learn he’s also getting some stat buffs, hopefully good ones to put him on an even footing with the recent inflationary stats; at this point he’s useful almost solely for removing buffs once at the start of the fight. Tron is such an odd duck of a blockbuster that it’s one of my personal favorite '80s movies.

But, characters from my favorite Disney movie and my favorite Pixar movie (A Bug’s Life) is getting refreshed.

I speak from S21 POV

  • the increased lag when typing in the chat box in guild chat & vip needs fixing asap

  • the increased lag when power promoting & crafting badges needs to be addressed as it’s taking far too long to do either

  • the screen freeze and need to reload the game every time we open a larger number of crates needs to be fixed. i shouldn’t have to reload my game every time i open more than 10 crates

  • there needs to be an ‘enhance all’ button for the badges in the enhancement area. 218 heroes with 6 badges is a lot to enhance individually and it takes over an hour.

  • with the increase of heroes, mega mart and black market have become very much out of date. they need a refresh. there was a time we could buy new hero chips in the black market, and this wouldn’t be a bad thing to return

  • although there are now 100 levels, the tiers in invasion are also outdated. there are not enough mod frags of all colours and shapes on offer which makes it incredibly hard to build up mods.

  • Tiana needs to be moved to a crate that is more accessible than the coli crate, or to the shop or to the campaign. she also needs to be added to wish crates. she’s been out long enough now and it shouldn’t be a struggle to get her chips

  • Dante is far too OP that it is near impossible to beat him, especially on the weekend trials
