Let’s see how Stamina Buy amounts change. But considering 80% more I don’t think it will be by much.

That event was initially why I thought the update would be tomorrow…

The thing here is that the top guilds people (usually those buying a lot of deals) would always hire the mercenaries, more even when there is an event to get guild coins, spend gold and such.

And I know a good amount of players actually doing this actively… so I’d say they skewer data a lot.
Meanwhile the lower end is usually ending up becoming a zero purchased mercenaries.

The team would have to monitor net gold gain (or rather… loss) of top say 5 guilds to find out.

I just noticed that Elastigirl’s name changed to Mrs. Incredible already and the game hasn’t updated yet

Slow down the color cap increases/making new badges/new badge trees for more time on quality improvements that is the correct trend to follow :wink::smiley:

I STILL refuse to call ELASTIGIRL, “Mrs. Incredible”!!!

And it’s all because Disney doesn’t want her to be disambiguated by DC’s Elasti-Girl.

I figured bring up my post and context would be good for this :-).

Overall I personally question if the problem is more so the Surge difficulty in relation to the actual typical power level of the guild, rather than the actual gold cost.
That said, this likely issue is likely on a scale and differs between guilds.

I agree that it is more important to implement Quick Fight for the Campaign mode first, however afterwards I wondered if Surge’s difficulty could be looked at :-).

Personally I would like an Easy mode where the whole guild can more so enjoy Surge, even if getting less Gold per district we may get about the same or more compared to the current default Hard mode.
Of course, it is likely possible to make the current difficulty the Hard mode, but yeah not sure if it is actually a good idea to make different difficulty options if it is going to take a long time development wise.

I am not sure how easy it is, but yeah if returning the Surge to the original difficulty or close to it would be ideal I think as then it is more so possible to enjoy Surge as a mode.

Hope you don’t mind the ping TheGrillFather, just thought it could be something to consider for how to go about Surge and the related Mercenary costs :-).

Thank you. I want to let you know that just because it is not top of the priority list, does not mean it’s not being considered. We are still continuously reviewing game modes and resources, and I cannot promise you Surge will be next.

Our highest priorities are hero releases and refreshes as they are the core of the game. Both these take a large portion of our time, and I’m sorry for the frustration that it causes, not allowing us to more quickly deliver QoL adjustments and improvements to game mode.

This isn’t a dismissal of your feedback, moreso, a please be patient as we make our way there! Some things will have quick fixes, while others do need more time and attention.
