Disney Heroes: Battle Mode Update 6.2

Welcome to the Disney Heroes: Battle Mode 6.2 Update! This release features Cruella De Vil, plus a number of improvements and bug fixes.

Overview

  • New! Cruella De Vil
  • Bug Fixes & Improvements

Cruella De Vil

Cruella De Vil is a Frontline “Control” Hero on the Blue team. Cruella De Vil will be available in the Battle Pass starting July 9th, 2024.

Skills

Get Them!
Cruella calls her lackeys into battle, targeting the enemy with the least HP. That enemy has all of their Buffs removed while also becoming Knock Back Immune and Stunned for a few seconds. The lackeys run towards the enemy until they collide to deal Fantastic Damage.

The Stun from this skill cannot be Cleansed, avoided by Evasion, reduced by Tenacity, or Dodged.

Cruella cannot use this Skill if her lackeys are already in combat.

+Fantastic Damage

Got to be Kidding Me
Cruella laughs maniacally, Scaring all enemies for a few seconds.

For the next few seconds, Cruella gains a percent of increased Movement and Attack Speed while her Basic Attacks Knock Back and deal an additional Fantastic Damage.

+Fantastic Damage

Paper Cuts
Cruella throws a check at the enemy with the least HP, dealing Fantastic Damage and Charming them for a few seconds.

If the enemy is KO’d immediately or within the next few seconds, Cruella will instantly use “Got to be Kidding Me”.

+Fantastic Damage

Always in Charge
Enemies are Scared while they are near Cruella.

Cruella gains Max HP and Armor for the rest of the wave each time an enemy is Scared from any source.

These buffs cannot be removed and she can gain up to a certain amount of Max HP and Armor this way.

+Armor

Fabulous Fashion
When enemies would gain any amount of Determination stacks they instead have all Hardy stacks removed. Then they are Scared and have a Damage over Time applied to them for a few seconds plus an additional second per Determination Stack they would have gained. This Damage over Time deals Fantastic Damage every second.

“Get Them!” now deals Fantastic Damage to all other enemies near the collision and the enemy hit is left Confused for a few seconds after the Stun wears off or is removed.

Cruella also Removes Energy from all Scared enemies every few seconds.

+Max HP +Armor +Fantastic Damage to “Paper Cuts”

Battle Badge

  • Charge Condition: Scare is applied to enemies
  • Stat Buff: +Skill Power
  • Lineup Buff: +Armor per Blue Ally
  • Effect Buff: Invincibility

Friendships

  • Percival McLeach
  • Shere Khan

Patch Season 21 Information

As we approach the conclusion of Season 20 of Patch, we are delighted to share our exciting plans for Season 21!

The 21st Season of Patch will begin on July 9th and will run for 4 weeks. After the update goes live, you’ll be able to see the season’s Featured Franchises but the Franchise Trials won’t be available until 9:00 AM CT the next morning.

This season will revisit these 4 franchises:

  • Jungle Book
  • American Dragon: Jake Long
  • Raya and The Last Dragon
  • Wildcard

We will continue rebalancing efforts down the line, but had to take a temporary pause to get all our attention on the new hero release cadence.

Battle Pass Updates

Earlier this year, we made significant updates to the Battle Pass. As we gather data and feedback regarding these changes, we’ll continue to iterate on this feature to make it as exciting as possible!

This round brings about a few changes:

  • An increase to the Early Access time period from 4 days to 9 days
  • Making the Early Access Trials visible before purchase
  • Creating a Battle Pass hero Chat Sparring Spotlight with the hero release instead of a few days later
  • New, temporary daily quests for the Battle Pass hero available during Early Access
  • Additional tiers, adding up to a total of 30 tiers to earn more rewards!

In order for us to make the Early Access Trials visible to allow players to view extra rewards, they will unfortunately no longer be Spotlight Trials. We have adjusted the trial set-up, which we’ll reveal in the upcoming update!

Adjusting the timing also means we’re shifting around new hero chips within the Contest ecosystem. Instead of appearing in contest progress rewards, new hero chips will now appear in the contest rank rewards! Other exclusive heroes will now appear in the progress rewards.

Improvements

  • New Guild Perks
    • Added 5 levels to Car Bonuses 1-6
    • Added 1 level for the Guild Influence Storage perk
    • Added a new level each to Guild Check In perks 10 and 40
  • Video Crate Improvements
    • Reduce the amount of times video crate pop-ups appear
    • Pop-ups also no longer appear when your video crate storage is full
    • Improved rewards to be more aligned with the current economy
  • Elite Campaign
    • Per run costs in Elite Campaign have been reduced to the former cost structure
    • Badges have been removed from the Elite Campaign loot
  • Hero Supercharge Event
    • On top of increases to supercharged heroes’ base stats, this event will also cause the hero to gain a percent of their Base Max Health as Armor and Reality
    • These boosts will also apply to all other heroes in your supercharged hero’s lineup
  • Vanellope Refresh
    • Vanellope will get a small refresh as she becomes the next Challenger season hero and is featured in the Mastery Prize Wall

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed some account suspension issues
  • Fixed a bug where raiding the Elite Campaign would bring up the Video Crate pop up repeatedly
  • Fixed a visual bug where McLeach’s vehicle appeared incorrectly
  • Fixed a bug in one of Dr. Doofenshmirtz’s skills
  • Fixed a bug in Surge where players couldn’t attack an area even though they had never attacked it

New Hero Locations and Content Adjustments

Heroes will not appear in Shops until they refresh.

Content Adjustments:

  • Cruella is the next Battle Pass hero!
  • Vanellope is the next Challenger & Mastery hero!
  • McLeach becomes Event Exclusive
  • Eda Clawthorne enters the City Watch Crate
  • Luz Noceda enters the VIP Crate
  • Shere Khan enters the Guild Crate
  • Bowler Hat Guy enters the Diamond Crate
  • Pegasus will now be available in the Elite Campaign!

Cruella De Vil, Cruella De Vil
If she doesn’t scare you, no evil thing will
To see her is to take a sudden chill
Cruella, Cruella
She’s like a spider waiting for the kill
Look out for Cruella De Vil in this game!

I KNEW IT! I knew there would be a skill which Cruella calls Jasper and Horace

Percival I get, but the second one really should have been either Mother Gothel, Yzma, or Disgust imo.

If hero rebalancing isn’t happening anymore just say it straight. This season is even worse than the previous one to skip.

Cool very cool! :slightly_smiling_face::+1:

They’re happening in the near future. They take up a good chunk of time, but we wanted to make sure Cruella released on time first, which is why we couldn’t do one this run. They’re on a hiatus, not forgotten completely.

Can AT LEAST Inside Out be rebalanced? Or even just Joy? Her alone would make the situation 100 times better.

@TheGrillFather, when’s the referral program for DSA soon?

3 months? + whatever time was stopped doing balancing since season 19?

just copy scale numbers from others which are already balanced and apply it to others.

Wildcards NEVER got balanced and they now put 3rd time to just get NOTHING. Ridiculous.

that too. will it be released when DSA will be already closed so these people will move to speedstorm which releases next week? uh-oh rather too late.

Well if isn’t Cruella she made it welcome

AND this is all insane, why make it worse?

and $20 will remain too? it’s nowhere near worth that. it should cost $10 max.

I knew we were gonna get Cruella and it seems the July continues the streak for no red team character as sign in or battle pass and of cures Vanellope would be the next prize wall hero now we know 101 Dalmatians is on the Blue Team

Well guss thay were inspired by the Cruella ability in a concept

:musical_note: At first you think Cruella is a devil
And after time has worn away the shock
You come to realize
You’ve seen those kind of eyes
Watching you from underneath a rock
This vampire bat, this inhuman beast
She ought to be locked up and never released
The city was such a wholesome place until
Cruella, Cruella De Vil :musical_note:

Joy: Oh I get it, it’s devil but they pronounce it de vil laugh that hilarious and terrifying.

Anger: facepalms

What a miserable and perfectly wretched patch note.

I’m kinda surprised that she was finally here. We finally got a first 101 Dalmatians character in the game.
