For you, the developers, I decided to sum up the most needed user experience changes necessary to be done in the game:
1. MORE GOLD– all the modes that give gold (Surge, City Watch, Quests, …) need a significant update. 400M gold can only barely up 25 heroes from level 185 to 190. I personally have plenty of heroes with skills at level 80 because there is no gold to up them.
2. BUNDLE UPDATE – of all the things, bundles were NEVER updated as deals and get more stamina DO.
Example:
One can get 620+ stamina batteries for a fiver.
Or 372 stamina (= 6 stamina batteries) for 50 diamonds.
1188 diamonds in a bundle get 40 premium stamina batteries = 2640 stamina.
PRETTY POOR VALUE FOR SOMETHING YOU CAN TECHNICALLY GET WITH ROUGHLY 350 DIAMONDS.
3. DEALS UPDATE – deals are recently losing their value quickly which leads to the paying players abandoning the game, slowly killing it.
SERVER 1: Last update there were 2 $5 stamina deals. ONE with just 628 stamina batteries and the other (rare, despite not being stated as one) giving 1909 stamina batteries.
WHY CAN’T WE ONLY GET DEALS BASED ON THE LATTER ONE?
IT WILL SOLVE MANY PROBLEMS WITH BADGES COSTING A LOT OF STAMINA.
NEW SERVERS HAVE TRAGIC DEALS THAT ONLY GIVE 10x LESS THAN WHAT THE OLD ONES DO. WHY? THEY ALREADY REACHED RED RANK, SO THEY DESERVE THE SAME DEALS AS EVERYONE ELSE.
4. BADGE COST – this one goes along with the DEALS… one needs to spend $50 or more to just keep their top 15 at max every 4 weeks. ON AVERAGE THAT’S TOO MUCH AND WILL KILL WHALES OR DOLPHINS ALONG TOO QUICKLY.
Therefore, along with a Deal Update there is a significant need for the Badge Cost Reduce, either via deleting the 6-8-10-12-14 stamina system OR change the purple, orange and red plans to have less plan bits needed over time.
5. NEW GUILD AID – an idea of Guild Aiding CHARACTER CHIPS and RED SKILL HELP
Character Chip Aid – adding a Guild Aid icon near the stars, to help with raising a character. One can request 10 chips this way. Each guildmate can only give up to 2 chips to fulfill the request.
Red Skill Help – similarly to the Guild Aid of other skills, this one asks for gold as the substantial thing to raise the skill. Additionally, guildmates can give unwanted Character Chips and Red Skill Chips to this request.
EXAMPLE: A character needs 8 character chips, 45 red skill chips and 505K gold to advance a level. Three guildmates can give 2 character chips, two others one. All guildmates can give 9 red skill chips to the request and 101K gold.
6. GUILD GIFTS – YES, GUILD GIFTS.
Stop with the Invasion Supplies Guild Gift already! No matter how many power-ups and breakers you add, they are just worthless.
FOCUS ON THE ONE THAT HAS THE HIGHEST PRAISE IN THE FANBASE – DIAMOND CRATES and introduce a STAMINA one. Maybe you can include role crates too, why not?
Hero chips are pathetic since they don’t help in any way.
Thoughts: „OH I BUY 10 CHIPS AND PRAY SOMEONE WOULD BUY TOO“… most won’t.
Invasion supplies may be helpful for some, but they are gone once the invasion ends.
Thoughts: „NICE I RENTED A FILM FOR A $5 I CAN FULLY ENJOY FOR MAYBE 2 DAYS“
7. INVASION MODE
This one just needs a big revamp. I calculated that to max a single mod at the moment one needs 6.7M mod power. No one except a top 1 player in all contests (mega volatile and people don’t always have $1000+ to throw away on the contest)
Meaning each hero, every mod advancing update just keeps us further and further from even having one hero truly maxed, let alone 113 and increasing.
Same goes with upgrade pieces, where last “tier” needs 100 where you earn 90 during a single invasion.
Please:
a) increase the pay-out of Invasion Tier rewards at least ten-fold, same with the rank rewards of the guild and individual
b) either triple the pay-out of upgrade pieces throughout a single invasion OR give us all the types of upgrades available
c) change the point counter to the one of the VIP Rings… increasing, not going all over again from 0 for each tier
Overall, the invasion mode is disbalanced on the HP part of every character, that one just needs to be higher. Additionally, the breaker quest should start not at the current cap, but lower, say Purple or Purple+1 rank, gradually increasing after each quest. Purple - Purple+1 - Purple+2 - … - Orange - Orange+1 - … - Orange+8, Red, Red+1, …, Red+X, current cap rank
SUMMARY:
PerBlue, @Polaris and all the staff behind the game. You are stating you reflect players’ feedback and put them in charge. Therefore prove you are the men and women standing your words and revive players’ interest in your game.
Otherwise, try and resist the players leaving ratio for the profit sake and slowly turn the game into a zombie before being shutted off.
