State of the Game - August 2020

🤦
Neither are crate exclusives

This is how badly we need gold income to be increased:

It takes 536.41K gold to level up one skill from level 189 to level 190. Multiply that by 4, and it’ll cost 2.15M gold to level up all skills (except red). Now multiply that by 15 (the minimum amount of heroes you need maxed), and it’ll cost 32.18M gold. Now let’s add badge costs and red skills…

PerBlue, you guys still need to work on that.

Increasing skill costs and badge costs were stupid ideas and idk why Perblue didn’t change this yet. We offered them friendship, and they spat in our faces.

You misspelled PerBlue…

Whoops! It honest kinda sucks that Polaris is getting most of the hate from the forums.

I kind of meant Polaris at first.

Problematic parts of the game, straight and simple.

(And yes, there is the no.6 for which we haven´t seen any data proof @Polaris). I am really curious on that part. But not $$ thing. I am curious on how big % of players that bought it was active for the last 3-4 days.

crate exclusives OR Basil OR Jumba…

LOL

Here’s the thing… there no hate going on.

Let’s put it like this. Polaris is PB messenger. We are talking to Polaris so he/she can tell the team.

If anyone think that’s what happening in here is hate u don’t knoe what constructive criticism is.

The thing is, we don´t believe the words about “thinning the gap between P2Ws and F2Ps”.

Why?

  1. Stamina deals (awful as they are), Gold, Crate, whatever are still offered. Giving a significant boost to one´s progress (especially the crates)
  2. F2P sources of stuff, like Get More Stamina give very little stamina, Raid/Stamina reset/Stamina bundles have too high cost.
Speaking of S1, GMS gives 372 stamina per purchase. If you go with 50 and 100 diamonds, you get 2,232 stamina. Per cap raise (4 weeks = 28 days) you get 62,496 stamina.
THAT ALONE is only worth 946.9 premium stamina batches.
Pure Stamina deal for a fiver gets you 804 of those. = Playing and spending 500 diamonds daily gets you roughly only six dollars/euros of progress.

Stamina Bundle - the best one so far is 20x bunches (1,320 total) for 594 diamonds or 40x bunches (2,640 total) for 1,188 diamonds.
If 804 premium stamina costs 5 dollars/euros, 40 of them costs 25 cents. 25 cents worth of 1,188 diamonds.

Raid Bundle - 4,951 diamonds or 5,400 diamonds. There is 60 premium stamina added (in bundle terms worth 1,784 diamonds). Which puts the double items + stamina refreshes at 3,200 diamonds at the very least.

They, they can’t be for two reasons, one, Basil is contest exclusive so he can’t, two, jumba is a challenger exclusive and it is supposed to be a challenge To get him

well VIP Crate hero appears in bundles so :man_shrugging:

🤦
That is different

well they are cashing in on the contests… ok, not Basil
but making it a “challenge” to get Jumba? lol, it´s really not

Saying people like the guild gifts you ( Perblue ) offer . Why don’t you open a poll and let people vote ? . Fair enough right , let we players vote for what we want and you can call for players who like your deals (guild gifts ) vote by announcement channel .
Sorry Fallacy is not working here !

How about posting that poll and the link to it in in-game chat then? Seems pretty viable. Like about State of the Game being posted.

Yeah ! Like they did with heroes refresh and special invasion before .

YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH

See @Polaris constructive criticism…

Something like “Let your voice be heard. Vote in our current pull to find out what suits you best.”

Anyway, you could still just make it so that guild gifts appear as such:
Monday-Tuesday: Invasion Supplies
Tuesday-Wednesday: Gold
Wednesday-Thursday: Diamond Crates
Thursday-Friday: Hero Chips

Maintain that for few weeks and then post the results as % here. Number of players in the game and % of how many bought each deal overall.

As far as I remember, you ran Invasion Supplies twice or thrice before even giving the Diamond Crate guild gift, which was one-time only.
How can you judge the performance by one appearance?

Maybe switch these around because friday is more praised or something like that so people will look forward to it more than they already do

I think people are just frustrated with the games overall structure. Its still a climb to rank up and level up heroes. As I previously, after 130 the climb is becoming much harder and for us to level up newer heroes is quite challenging even for people who plays on a daily basis.

The guild gifts coming into effect with all the respect in the world. The deals we get more and more off is gifts we don’t really want. We all know what deals they are and you yourself know what deals they are. We Just want gifts to help us on the overall hero progression.

We need barriers to help us get heroes to max level and max rarity. I dont see it in game in all honesty. I see an hero taking at least 3 weeks or more to get up to rank 6 or 7, and thats quite bad.

Please give us previews of changes to xp, scaling and guild gifts. I bet a lot of us will be more grateful in the future.

I’d estimate that sales of the guild gift were up by around 600% for diamond crates - I’d say we can judge it pretty well

I don’t think it’s entirely fair for people to demand proof from PB of their data, they aren’t going to lie about it lol. It’s better to consider why the data might be what it is, and how the gifts could be improved (this has been discussed at length) rather than either calling PB liars or calling those who buy the deals stupid.

At the end of the day, we can make a fuss all we want but it’s PBs game and the deals they offer are totally up to them. It would make 0 sense for them to offer deals that nobody is buying. If they are poor value (which they are!), we don’t have to buy them - the problem us complainants have is clearly that too many people do.

It’s also quite clear that the diamond crate guild gift was the bestseller, but that PBs interpretation of ‘game economy’ hasn’t allowed them to repeat such a gift yet. I do still have some of those crates left over, so while I’d like more, I can understand them not wanting to inflate the amount that are in the game and push people too far ahead from where they “should be”

(that being said, diamond crates are a pretty good leveller for f2p against p2w players - something they have mentioned needing to do…)
