I mean sort of. Meg has the reasons that she did not marry royalty or was born so. Also, Hercules is a god, not a prince, so there really is no way Meg will ever be an official Disney Princess, or princess in general.
Why is this thread still a thing? The answer to “Why isn’t X a Disney Princess?” or “Why is Y a Disney Princess?” is because Disney marketing thinks that’s what will make the most money. Mulan, who neither was born royalty nor ended up in a relationship with royalty, is a Disney Princess; Princess Kida, who was born royalty and remains so at the end of her movie, is not a Disney Princess. If you disagree with it, get in touch with Disney, not PerBlue.

We don’t search for an apology or something like this neither from PerBlue neither from Disney. We just search for an explanation, I had mine, so no worries or something. There’s not always something bad hidden under one question. It’s just a question.
