Never actually have problems against moana… I usually use knockback team to pulverize her… EVE-Calhoun-Finnick-Rex-Maui. Doc Lilo - Server 9 - lvl 75 (max for now)
I feel people are hating on Moana cause they don’t have Her you want to complain? Try going against an level 80 4star fully skilled Baymax you will wish you could go back up against Moana instead… Grumble grumble robot wants a boot up his &$#@ not a hug
As a player since the worldwide update, I have tested with many different possibilities to figure out the winning team. Saying that winning against a big team with huge power difference is impossible is a myth. That says, total powers do not matter. Being succesful in this game is about knowing your ground up.
Because of the shield and energy moves, Moana is noted to be a powerful offense for the team. If you are to go against a team with Moana, I suggest to play the safe setup as follow:
Pros: Compatibility with damages, each hero serving various of purposes, Nick and Tia Dalma both do not have effect chance of controlling their enemies
Cons: Lack of healing HP despite Sulley having the insane curing power
High star characters have high stats. Moana is a 3 star. Simple. Or she is just stronger than the heroes you have
Your context is so conceited! So everyone must have that 5 star setup just for moana, at top 5 power on top.
So now i must pay thousands on thousands not because of my own interest but to verse one hero.
You are basically max vaulting a hero then saying do like me. Notice your moana is not screen? Thats not coincidence… not everyone maxxed there heroes so why do you presume we all have your setup
Tia/Stunners/Bogo block usefulles of Moana.
It is simply a suggestion, not a rule. You do not have to have Moana in order to win the battle. I see top players manage with some powerful damage heroes and Bogo that can stun the fronters.
The setup is all up to you, but my suggestion shows that Nick can stun Moana, depending on the opponent’s setup.
Power doesn’t matter. However Moana does pose a challenge. My counter for her is Tia and Nick. Having a high, single hit dps against her like Barbossa or Merida. I just make sure I eliminate the one hero before her as fast as possible
Enemy is better than your team sO oVeRpOwErEd
Everybody commenting is correct. Moana is strong but Tia Dalma is her perfect counter in conjunction with other damage dealers. Plus there’s also stunning or freezing her so case put to rest~
If you have Woody, Tia Dalma or Nick, then you can stun heroes.
Otherwise, you can go along with freezers and energy regenerating team to prevent her from using her power. That also works since with freezing and stunning, you have better control with the arena.
I don’t think she is overpowered, a composition of stunning with decent damage output will remove her.
If your using team compositions designed to try outlast your opponent Moana will make a mockery of it.
I am currently leveling her along.
I don’t think she is very overpowered, my standard Layout can Handel her, and Ralph is my only stunner. No other or silencer in team, but I have to time my Ultimates manually to bring her down.
Counter her with Tia, well yeah, it feels Tia counter everything.
I have way more problems to overcome Tia than Moana.
Glad that I am not the only one who had trouble with Tia Dalma teams. I don’t have a direct counter, but my general strategy has either been overwhelming firepower or another Tia plus excessive shields and WALLE. It’s hard fighting her in City Watch.
I have discovered that Bogo is a near perfect Moana counter. He has a Blind, Who is amazing against Moana’s auto attacks, He has Shield and decent self-healing with disk. Pretty much a Draw battle if 1x1.
Tia can counter her as well, but I like Nick or other Hard cc to beat her.
There are a few toons who are good counters to her. I love bogo against her especially in coliseum.
A 20k Sally can solo a 24k Moana, now they have solved this problem.
Simple, its because “She issss Moaaaaaannnaaaaaa!!!” (Singsong voice)
