As mentioned, the third elimination game I will be doing is the Best Battle Friends Forever 2022, where the heroes that have friendship campaigns with the new heroes battle it out for the Best Battle Friend. It’s a big group - 48 heroes in total - and they will be drawn into 12 groups of four.
- The game is contested with 12 round-robin groups. Two heroes from each group advance to the knockout stage, and the top eight third-placed heroes will also join the group winners and runners-up in a round of 32. 3 points for a win, 1 point for a draw, 0 points for a loss.
- 32 heroes will advance to the knockout stage. Whoever gets the most votes advances.
- There is also a third-place play-off for the two losing semi-finalists.
The heroes are divided into four pots of 12, and one hero from each pot will be selected to form a group.

6 newcomers have friendship campaigns with newer newcomers in the year they were introduced (2022): Anna, Pete, Snow White, Princess Aurora, Prince Phillip and Agent P.
In addition to the above heroes, 17 heroes/hero groups now have friendship campaigns: Shan Yu, Disgust, Fear, Wasabi, Fairy Godmother, Esmeralda, Sheriff of Nottingham, Quackerjack, Ron Stoppable, Vinny Santorini, Lilo, Bolt, Ariel, Gadget, Phil, Raya, Chip & Dale.
6 heroes have two friendship campaigns with the 2022 newcomers: Disgust, Fear, Fairy Godmother, Vinny Santorini, Bolt and Ariel.
Of note, Joy became the first hero to have 7 friendship campaigns in total, including the two friendships where she is the primary hero.
As I have previously been absent for a period of time to dwell on other things, I might have to do this elimination game concurrently with the other elimination game I’m doing right now. Expect multiple polls ahead.
