Sidenote: Technically Scrooge orginated from Mickey Mouse shorts but he made his fame in Ducktales so, it still stands.

Well, if you want to get super-duper technical, Mickey Mouse and his friends could count as Disney Junior representation by proxy since Disney Junior has the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse show.

I mean, it has all the same characters, it’s not like any of them were too drastically changed in that incarnation. The only difference is that the show is aimed for a younger audience.

Although I have to admit this is a fair point against adding any more Disney Junior characters, as interesting as it would be.

I think the rating is more about the content of the game then the age level of the featured franchises:

Basically, any game where you can attack enemies and play multiplayer is PG.

FYI, I checked the age rating on my Kim Possible and Little Mermaid dvds, G.
So by that logic, they’re not allowed in this game.
Also, Winnie the Pooh has to be removed too, since he’s G rated.

I think the PG rating is an upper limit, that they can’t have content above it, not below it.

That’s because they are aimed at all ages, for families.
While Disney Junior only for small kids.
