“Mike eats his microphone and then belches, dealing X damage to all enemies. Enemies become Grossed Out, causing them to take 15% of their maximum HP as Fantastic damage each time they attack or use an ability for 9 seconds.”

  • Scare duration increased to 10 seconds and now Scares all enemies
  • Initial cooldown reduced by 1 second and total cooldown by 2 seconds
  • New effect: This ability now also deals X Fantastic damage to the nearest enemy and deals 75% of that damage to all other enemies

"Mike throws a scream canister at the closest enemy, dealing X Fantastic damage to the target and 75% of the damage to all other enemies. All enemies are then Scared for 10 seconds.

  • New effect: When Mike is affected by a Scare, he gains +75% attack speed for the duration

  • On a Roll will now Cleanse Mike of all debuffs when activated and now automatically activates at 50% HP and at 1 HP
  • New effect: After using On a Roll, Mike gains Reflect for 4 seconds
  • Bonus stats unchanged

"Each time Mike uses On a Roll, he gains Reflect for 4 seconds when the ability ends. When Mike reaches 50% for the first time during a wave, he Cleanses himself of all debuffs and immediately uses On a Roll. This effect activates again when he reaches 1 HP.

Enemies that are Scared while already Scared take 20% of their max HP as bonus Fantastic damage. This bonus damage can trigger the Stun from Fight or Fright.

The bonus damage can fail against enemies above level X."

New Refresh Concept: The Beast

A tale as old as time–a melee powerhouse becomes outclassed and powercrept and can no longer handle the trials and tribulations of the modern day. Beast’s incredible ferocity is far too easy to be neutered, and so we shall do something about it. A few simple changes is all it takes.


The Refresh

General

  • The Beast’s badges have been adjusted, granting him 70% Armor Negation and 80% Tenacity at most Red and Yellow ranks.

Base Stats

  • Basic damage increased by 100%
  • Skill power increased by 150%
  • HP increased by 200%

Skills

:white_circle: White Skill - Rage of the Beast

  • Increased healing by 100%
  • New effect: The Beast gains 40% damage mitigation while Berserk

“The Beast roars and becomes Berserk for 10 seconds. While Berserk, his attack and movement speeds are increased by 200%, he heals X HP each time he crits an enemy, he gains 40% damage mitigation, and he cannot fall below 1 HP.”

  • New effect: When this ability super crits, the affected targets also take X additional True damage

"Every 3 basic attacks, The Beast performs a double strike to hit enemies twice, critting both times. If The Beast super crits with this ability, the targets also take X additional True damage.

This skill has a chance to fail against enemies above level X."

  • Increased damage by 150%
  • Both the initial cooldown and total cooldown have been reduced by 6 seconds
  • New effect: The Beast gains Shell for 4 seconds after using this ability

"The Beast leaps and slashes nearby enemies, dealing X damage and knocking them back.

The Beast then gains Shell for 4 seconds, causing enemy debuffs to not affect The Beast but instead bounce back at the enemy team at random.

The Shell has a chance to fail above level X."

  • New effect: For 6 seconds after the Beast KOs an enemy, the Beast’s basic attacks remove 2 random buffs from affected enemies

"The Beast gains X+70 Crit Damage. Each point of Crit Damage above an enemy’s level increases the damage done from crits by 1%.

In addition, for 6 seconds after The Beast KO’s an enemy, his basic attacks remove 2 random buffs from affected enemies."

  • Removed the cooldown from the armor removal and silence
  • New effect: The Beast cannot be affected by Fatigue

"When The Beast crits an enemy, he removes X Armor from them for 8 seconds. If The Beast super crits an enemy, he also Silences them for 5 seconds.

Additionally, The Beast cannot be affected by Fatigue."


Friend Campaign Disks

Disk #1 - Sulley & Boo

  • Current Level Effect: Increased Rage of the Beast activation damage by 100%, and it now affects all enemies instead of just Damage role enemies
  • Added Level Effect: +X Basic Damage
  • Added Star Effect: When Rage of the Beast’s basic attack healing affects the Beast while at full HP, he turns 8% (+8% per additional star) of the overhealing into a shield that lasts until destroyed

Disk #2 - Belle

  • Current Level Effect: Increased bonus HP by 200%
  • Current Star Effect: Now Slows both attack and movement speed and affects the entire enemy team when dodging a Scare
  • Added Star Effect: The Beast deals 15% (+15% per additional star) additional damage to Slowed enemies

New Refresh Concept: EVE

EVE is in an odd place where her base stats, while bad, aren’t the most terrible things in the world–her skills are. Oh boy howdy, are EVE’s skills bad. To even call her a Damage character is an insult to the concept of damage itself. Bumping up those numbers, as well as bolstering her existing utility, should give this little robot the edge she needs to fulfill her function.


The Refresh

General

  • EVE’s badges have been adjusted, granting her roughly 60% Tenacity and 20% Conservation at most Red and Yellow ranks.

Base Stats

  • Basic damage increased by 100%
  • Skill power increased by 50%
  • HP increased by 150%
  • Base attack speed increased by 30%

Skills

:white_circle: White Skill - Hand Cannon

  • Increased damage to primary target by 200% and secondary target by 250%
  • The secondary attack now hits all other enemies instead of splashing
  • New effect: If EVE uses this skill on a disabled enemy, EVE spreads that disable to all other enemies, lasting for 6 seconds
  • New effect: If EVE uses this skill on the closest non-disabled enemy, EVE applies a random disable to that target for 6 seconds

"EVE fires her plasma cannon at the closest disabled enemy, dealing X damage and spreading the disable to all other enemies, lasting for 6 seconds. All other enemies take X damage.

If no enemy is disabled, EVE instead targets the closest enemy and applies a random disable to the target for 6 seconds."

  • Increased shield HP by 300%
  • Reworded skill to specify that EVE will shield the ally with the lowest current HP
  • New effect: If the shield is destroyed, the shielded ally gains Hardy and all enemies take Normal damage equal the shield’s HP

"EVE places a shield with X HP for 7 seconds on the ally with the lowest current HP.

If the shield is destroyed, the shielded ally gains 3 stacks of Hardy and all enemies take Normal damage equal to 100% of the shield’s initial HP."

  • Cooldown reduced to 8 seconds
  • New effect: This ability now splashes over an area equal to the target’s melee range, dealing damage to and Stunning all targets in range

"EVE’s charged blast deals X damage to the enemy with the highest Skill Power and Stuns them for 7 seconds. This ability also hits enemies near the target.

The Stun has a chance to fail against enemies above X."

  • New effect: EVE also gains 100 Energy each time she deals damage to a disabled enemy

"EVE does 100% more damage to disabled enemies and gains 100 additional Energy each time she deals damage to a disabled enemy.

This effect is reduced against enemies above level X."

:red_circle: Red Skill - Droid Disable

  • Now increases the duration of all disables applied by EVE and her allies by 4 seconds if their duration is less than 10 seconds
  • New effect: Allies shielded from any source deal 25% additional damage to disabled enemies
  • Stat passives unchanged

"The duration of disables applied by EVE and her allies last 4 seconds longer if their duration is less than 10 seconds.

EVE uses Ion Shock at the start of each wave and the first use of Ion Shock stuns 10 seconds longer.

Allies shielded from any source deal 25% additional damage to disabled enemies.

The disable duration increases have a chance to fail against enemies above level X."

New Refresh Concept: Violet

Remember when Violet was good? Yeah, me neither. The poor girl just wants to drop shields and be invisible, but nobody will let her! She has a support kit that can’t support! She has defensive abilities that don’t defend her! Nothing is going right for this angsty teenager (except for some rather alright base stats) and it’s just making her angst harder. With some changes, this moody maiden might actually be welcome to join the team for once.

  • Violet’s badges have been adjusted to give her 50% Reality Negation, 65% Fantastic Crit, and 80% Evasion at most Red and Yellow ranks.

  • Increased shield HP value by 500%
  • Increased shield duration to 12 seconds
  • Violet will now always leap to the player’s backline, regardless of distance

"Violet jumps out of danger and into the player’s backline, granting herself and her allies a shield with X HP for the next 12 seconds.

Allies shielded by Violet gain Shell for the duration, causing enemy debuffs to not affect Shelled allies and instead bounce back to the enemy team at random."

  • Removed stipulation that Violet cannot turn invisible while shielded

New Refresh Concept: Scrooge McDuck

Scrooge is meant to be a pure damage dealer. Scrooge deals terrible, terrible damage. There are problems all over the place here. By offering only damage and nothing else, Scrooge is especially vulnerable to powercreep. By being terrible at dealing damage, Scrooge is failing at his only job. But it’s okay. We can fix it. The rich are getting richer today!

  • Scrooge McDuck’s badges have been adjusted, granting him roughly 40% Armor Negation, 50% Crit Damage, and 65% Tenacity at most Red and Yellow ranks.

  • New effect: Scrooge’s magnet also drains all enemies of 50% of their Basic Damage and Skill Power, granting 15% of the stolen stats to himself, with both effects lasting 8 seconds

"Passive: Scrooge McDuck’s basic attack drops 3 coins on the ground, for him to collect later.

Active: Scrooge McDuck pulls out a giant magnet and pulls all of his coins back to him, dealing X damage for each coin that passes through enemies.

This ability drains all enemies of 50% of their Basic Damage and Skill Power, granting Scrooge 15% of the stolen stats. Both effects last for 8 seconds."

Disk #2 - Huey, Dewey, & Louie

  • Current Level Effect: Removed
  • New Level Effect: +X Basic Damage
  • New Level Effect: Each hit of Working Overtime deals X additional damage
  • Current Star Effect: Removed
  • New Star Effect: Once per wave, upon reaching 1 HP, Scrooge McDuck will Cleanse himself of all debuffs and immediately use Working Overtime. He is then healed for 3% (+3% per additional star) of his maximum HP each time this use of Working Overtime deals damage to an enemy.

New Refresh Concept: Miss Piggy

Another tragic tale. This pig never really got to fly, despite elements of her kit being very strong. Miss Piggy is meant to be a melee powerhouse who can slip past a lot of disables and deliver some real punishment, only able to be stopped by brute force. But unfortunately, all it takes to take this pig to market is a stiff breeze. With a few tweaks, Miss Piggy could truly be a terrifying foe, so let’s let her live that dream.


The Refresh

General

  • Miss Piggy’s badges have been adjusted to give her Evasion equal to roughly 45% at most Red and Yellow ranks.
  • A Piggy icon with a counter has been added, showing how many stacks of disable dodging from Hands Off! Miss Piggy currently has.

Base Stats

  • Basic damage increased by 150%
  • Skill power increased by 175%
  • HP increased by 200%
  • Base attack speed increased by 25%
  • Base movement speed increased by 25%

  • New Star Effect: Miss Piggy’s attack and movement speed is permanently increased by 2% (+2% per additional star) each time she dodges a disable, and Miss Piggy keeps this buff from wave to wave.

New Refresh Concept: Yzma

You probably forgot Yzma was even in the game, didn’t you? On the face of things, she doesn’t seem like an obvious candidate for a Refresh–since her ability numbers are…not the worst, and her base stats are not bad at all–but when you consider her extremely low usage by players of all levels, it kinda paints a picture of a unit that doesn’t have any place to fit in. Perhaps some additional damage, utility, and control is what this manic maniac needs.


The Refresh

General

  • The effects of Yzma’s Red Skill that allow her basic attacks and the debuffs from Alchemy to splash to enemies in an area are now innate effects of Yzma’s basic attacks.

Base Stats

  • Basic damage increased by 75%
  • Skill power increased by 50%
  • HP increased by 100%
  • Base attack speed increased by 30%

Skills

:white_circle: White Skill - Push Your Luck

  • Increased minimum damage by 100%, maximum damage by 25%, and Auto damage by 90%
  • Time needed for the charged potion’s maximum damage reduced to 5 seconds
  • This ability no longer has a chance to blow up in Yzma’s face
  • New effect: Enemies hit are afflicted with 3 random debuffs (Sap, Scare, Silence, Freeze, Charm, Hex, Shatter, 5 stacks of Fatigue, 3 stacks of Weakness, 60% Slow, Snare, or removal of all buffs) that last for 8 seconds

"Yzma becomes Invincible and begins mixing a potion for up to 5 seconds. She then throws the potion at the closest enemies, dealing between X and Y damage depending on how long she mixed the potion. While not on Auto, the player can end her mixing early by tapping her portrait. While on Auto, Yzma will always mix the potion for 2.5 seconds."

  • New effect: Once per wave, when Yzma falls to 0 HP, she retreats into her palanquin, re-emerging after 6 seconds, healing for X HP, and increasing all her damage and debuff durations by 50% for the rest of the wave

Enemies Cursed by Yzma have their healing reduced by 90% instead of 50%, and each time a Cursed enemy receives healing, they lose 250 Energy.

For your next character refresh, can you do either Sulley, Mickey, or Huey/Duey/Louie?

Ducks, maybe. Probably won’t be the next, but they can be added to the list. Sulley’s already still pretty solid, and Musk already made a pretty comprehensive Mickey Refresh concept that comprises a lot of the changes I would’ve suggested. :V

New Refresh Concept: Huey, Dewey, & Louie

So the idea here isn’t bad, but the execution is lacking. Their traps are too few to be reliable, don’t stun for nearly long enough, and the boys themselves are too frail and feeble to manipulate the battlefield like they clearly want to. Let’s give these ducks a little more quack, shall we?


The Refresh

General

  • Huey, Dewey, & Louie’s badges have been adjusted to give them roughly 40% Reality Negation and 75% Crit Damage, as well as 20% more Tenacity, at most Red and Yellow ranks.

Base Stats

  • Basic damage increased by 150%
  • Skill power increased by 150%
  • HP increased by 130%

Skills

:white_circle: White Skill - Dematerializer

  • Increased damage by 100%
  • Increased Stun duration to 9 seconds
  • This attack now hits 2 random enemies, in addition to the furthest enemy, and now places them all randomly on top of one of Huey, Dewey, & Louie’s existing bear traps, if enough are placed

“Huey, Dewey, & Louie pull out their dematerializer blaster and zap it at the furthest enemy and 2 other random enemies, placing the targets on top of their bear traps, if enough are placed. This attack deals X damage to the targets and Stuns them for 9 seconds.”

:green_circle: Green Skill - Woodchuck Trap Badge

  • Increased damage by 100%
  • Increased Stun duration to 7 seconds
  • Damage type changed to Normal damage
  • Increased number of traps laid to 5, and traps will prioritize being placed in front of enemies more often

“At the beginning of each wave, Huey, Dewey, & Louie place 5 bear traps at random places on the battlefield, prioritizing spaces in front of enemies. Each bear trap deals X damage and Stuns the first enemy to walk on the trap for 7 seconds.”

  • Increased HP and Skill Power stat bonuses by 50%
  • New effect: Stuns against Tank role enemies last 75% longer
  • New effect: Woodchuck Trap Badge and Woodchuck Travel Badge lay out 2 additional bear traps per Tank role enemy

"Each time an enemy is damaged by a bear trap, they lose X Basic Damage and X Armor for 12 seconds. This can stack up to 4 times.

HDL’S Fantastic Crit is fine for now, but PB needs a very good reality negation badge to stick on them, like they did to Jack Sparrow at R19.

Hey, for taking an idea recommendation from me, and making a refresh concept out of it, you did a pretty good job, I must give credit where it’s due.

New Refresh Concept: Rapunzel

Look how they massacred my girl! Rapunzel does next to nothing, and the little she does do…doesn’t do much. Her support capabilities need to be boosted hardcore, and her offensive utility needs to be boosted hardcore. Basically, we’re gonna be going hard to help make sure Rapunzel can survive and thrive in these trying times.

Also, I’m test-driving a new feature where I add example text of what each ability will look like in their description boxes. Should add some clarity to my changes.


The Refresh

General

  • Rapunzel’s badges have been drastically adjusted, now giving her roughly 70% Normal Crit, 65% Fantastic Crit, 80% Reality Negation, 45% Crit Damage, and 55% Evasion at most ranks.

Base Stats

  • Basic damage increased by 150%
  • Skill power increased by 125%
  • HP increased by 55%
  • Base attack speed increased by 25%

Skills

:white_circle: White Skill - Frying Pan Pummel

  • Increased damage by 100%
  • Stun duration increased to 12 seconds
  • New effect: The target now has all of their active buffs removed

Alice is in the running to be the worst hero in the game, fighting for the distinction with other such dishonorable mentions as Mike, Aladdin, Maui, and Gonzo. I had to actually look up and see what role Alice was supposed to be filling–Support? Are you kidding me? With what?! Welp, today we’re gonna fix all that. It’s gonna be a lot of work, but when we’re done, Alice is gonna be a Support, gosh darn it!


The Refresh

Base Stats

  • Basic Damage increased by 150%
  • Skill Power increased by 75%
  • HP increased by 100%
  • Base attack speed increased by 20%

  • Increased healing by 300%

"Alice eats a cookie, healing her for X HP. In addition, Alice and her allies have their attack speed increased by 75% and become Energized for 15 seconds. Allies Energized by Alice gain 70 additional Energy each time they perform a basic attack.

Alice then becomes Enormous, increasing her maximum HP by X and her Basic Damage by 400% for 15 seconds. While Enormous, Alice’s abilities have different effects."

  • New effect: Enemies hit by the Enormous effect are Stunned for 6 seconds

"Alice falls backward and cries, Slowing all enemies’ attack and movement speeds by 60% for 14 seconds and removing 350 Energy from them. This Energy removal is less effective against enemies above level X.

While Enormous, her giant tear drops instead fall to the ground, dealing X damage to all enemies and Stunning them for 6 seconds."

  • Entirely reworked

If Alice or an ally is healed above full HP, 30% of the overhealing is converted into Basic Damage that lasts until the ally is KO’d. This effect can be triggered up to 3 times per wave.

While Enormous, Alice gains a basic attack, stomping on the 3 nearest enemies for X damage and knocking them back. Each time an enemy is knocked back by this attack, Alice’s allies are healed for X HP and gain X Basic Damage for 4 seconds, stacking up to 3 times."

  • Previous effect relocated to Eat Me
  • Entirely reworked

"While Alice is Enormous, she takes 35% reduced damage from all sources.

When Alice uses Eat Me, she removes 4 disables with the longest remaining durations from allies. If this effect removes fewer than 4 disables, Alice will remove 2 random debuffs for each unused charge.

  • Added Star Effect: Enemies’ Basic Damage and Skill Power are reduced by 3% per star (to a maximum of 15% at 5 stars) for 8 seconds each time they hit a shielded ally, stacking up to 5 times
