New Refresh Concept: Goliath
I completely forgot Goliath was even in the game until I checked the most recent tier lists. And the reason is obvious: His kit is a lame, lazy, unfocused mess. It’s gonna look more like a rework than a refresh, but I’m determined to take Goliath’s trash kit and turn it into something more focused and more useful!
The Refresh
General
- Petrification has its own icon that displays over Goliath’s character model
Base Stats
- Basic Damage increased by 100%
- Skill Power increased by 30%
- HP increased by 75%
- Base attack speed increased by 25%
Skills
White Skill - Fully Guarded
- Increased base damage by 80%
- Additional damage dealt is now equal to 100% of guarded damage
- This ability now hits all enemies
- New effect: Now knocks back all enemies
- New effect: 30% of all damage taken by allies is redirected to Goliath
"Until Goliath runs out of Energy, he guards himself with his wings, taking 80% reduced damage from all sources. While guarding, 30% of all damage taken by allies is redirected to Goliath.
Once he runs out of Energy or 12 seconds have passed, Goliath spreads his wings and roars, dealing X damage plus 100% of the damage he guarded to all enemies and knocking them back."
Green Skill - Forceful Flap
- Increased damage by 90%
- New effect: Affected enemies are Slowed by 45% for 4 seconds
- Initial cooldown reduced to 1.5 seconds
“Goliath flaps his wings, dealing X damage to and knocking back affected enemies with a gust of wind. Enemies are then Slowed by 45% for 4 seconds.”
Blue Skill - Gargoyle Swipe
- Increased damage by 100%
- Initial cooldown reduced to 3 seconds and total cooldown reduced to 6 seconds
- New effect: The nearest 3 enemies are pulled into Goliath’s melee range
- New effect: The cooldown of Forceful Flap is reduced by 2 seconds for each affected enemy
"Goliath’s eyes glow with power, compelling the nearest 3 enemies to enter Goliath’s melee range before he takes a massive swing with his claws, dealing X damage to nearby enemies and healing himself for X HP.
The cooldown of Forceful Flap is reduced by 2 seconds for each enemy hit by this ability."
Purple Skill - Stony Strength
- Basically entirely reworked
"Goliath is subject to Petrification as he is wounded. For every 15% of his maximum HP he is missing, Goliath’s Armor is increased by X and his movement speed is reduced by 18%. Petrification can stack up to 5 times. While Goliath has any stacks of Petrification, he becomes immune to knockbacks.
Goliath deals 150% of his Armor as bonus Fantastic damage with his basic attacks and abilities.
Allies gain X Armor while Goliath is channeling Fully Guarded."
Red Skill - Projectile Protection
- Absorbed projectiles have their damage added to the ability’s damage counter
- Level restriction removed
- Bonus Maximum HP increased by 200%
- New effect: Goliath gains 20% Normal Crit and Fantastic Crit each time an enemy is knocked back, stacking up to 10 times
"While channeling Fully Guarded, Goliath absorbs any projectiles that attempt to pass him, adding the damage they would have dealt to his damage counter.
Goliath gains 20% Normal Crit and Fantastic Crit for 6 seconds each time an enemy is knocked back, stacking up to 10 times. The duration is refreshed with each new knockback."
Friend Campaign Disks
Disk #1 - Chief Bogo
- Current Level Effect: Increased Max HP bonus by 120%
- Current Level Effect: HP Regen bonus removed
- Added Level Effect: Goliath gains a Shield with X HP whenever he heals himself with Gargoyle Swipe
- Current Star Effect: Armor bonus increased to 40% (+40% per additional star)
- Added Star Effect: Goliath and allies take 15% (+15% per additional star) reduced Normal damage while Shielded
Disk #2 - The Beast
- Current Level Effect: Increased Basic Damage by 60%
- Current Level Effect: Enemy Basic Damage penalty now applies to all enemies, and the penalty is increased by 50%
- Current Level Effect: Maximum HP increase removed
- Added Level Effect: Goliath gains (90 + Disk Level) Armor Negation
