New Refresh Concept: The Beast
A tale as old as time–a melee powerhouse becomes outclassed and powercrept and can no longer handle the trials and tribulations of the modern day. Beast’s incredible ferocity is far too easy to be neutered, and so we shall do something about it. A few simple changes is all it takes.
The Refresh
General
- The Beast’s badges have been adjusted, granting him 70% Armor Negation and 80% Tenacity at most Red and Yellow ranks.
Base Stats
- Basic damage increased by 100%
- Skill power increased by 150%
- HP increased by 200%
Skills
White Skill - Rage of the Beast
- Increased healing by 100%
- New effect: The Beast gains 40% damage mitigation while Berserk
“The Beast roars and becomes Berserk for 10 seconds. While Berserk, his attack and movement speeds are increased by 200%, he heals X HP each time he crits an enemy, he gains 40% damage mitigation, and he cannot fall below 1 HP.”
Green Skill - Brutal Blow
- New effect: When this ability super crits, the affected targets also take X additional True damage
"Every 3 basic attacks, The Beast performs a double strike to hit enemies twice, critting both times. If The Beast super crits with this ability, the targets also take X additional True damage.
This skill has a chance to fail against enemies above level X."
Blue Skill - Leaping Claw
- Increased damage by 150%
- Both the initial cooldown and total cooldown have been reduced by 6 seconds
- New effect: The Beast gains Shell for 4 seconds after using this ability
"The Beast leaps and slashes nearby enemies, dealing X damage and knocking them back.
The Beast then gains Shell for 4 seconds, causing enemy debuffs to not affect The Beast but instead bounce back at the enemy team at random.
The Shell has a chance to fail above level X."
Purple Skill - Battle Instincts
- New effect: For 6 seconds after the Beast KOs an enemy, the Beast’s basic attacks remove 2 random buffs from affected enemies
"The Beast gains X+70 Crit Damage. Each point of Crit Damage above an enemy’s level increases the damage done from crits by 1%.
In addition, for 6 seconds after The Beast KO’s an enemy, his basic attacks remove 2 random buffs from affected enemies."
Red Skill - Beastly Brawl
- Removed the cooldown from the armor removal and silence
- New effect: The Beast cannot be affected by Fatigue
"When The Beast crits an enemy, he removes X Armor from them for 8 seconds. If The Beast super crits an enemy, he also Silences them for 5 seconds.
Additionally, The Beast cannot be affected by Fatigue."
Friend Campaign Disks
Disk #1 - Sulley & Boo
- Current Level Effect: Increased Rage of the Beast activation damage by 100%, and it now affects all enemies instead of just Damage role enemies
- Added Level Effect: +X Basic Damage
- Added Star Effect: When Rage of the Beast’s basic attack healing affects the Beast while at full HP, he turns 8% (+8% per additional star) of the overhealing into a shield that lasts until destroyed
Disk #2 - Belle
- Current Level Effect: Increased bonus HP by 200%
- Current Star Effect: Now Slows both attack and movement speed and affects the entire enemy team when dodging a Scare
- Added Star Effect: The Beast deals 15% (+15% per additional star) additional damage to Slowed enemies
