New Refresh Concept: Scrooge McDuck
Scrooge is meant to be a pure damage dealer. Scrooge deals terrible, terrible damage. There are problems all over the place here. By offering only damage and nothing else, Scrooge is especially vulnerable to powercreep. By being terrible at dealing damage, Scrooge is failing at his only job. But it’s okay. We can fix it. The rich are getting richer today!
The Refresh
General
- Scrooge McDuck’s badges have been adjusted, granting him roughly 40% Armor Negation, 50% Crit Damage, and 65% Tenacity at most Red and Yellow ranks.
Base Stats
- Basic damage increased by 100%
- Skill power increased by 100%
- HP increased by 90%
- Base attack speed increased by 30%
Skills
White Skill - Coin Collection
- Increased basic attack coin drop to 3 per basic attack
- Increased damage by 100%
- This ability now deals Normal damage
- New effect: Scrooge’s magnet also drains all enemies of 50% of their Basic Damage and Skill Power, granting 15% of the stolen stats to himself, with both effects lasting 8 seconds
"Passive: Scrooge McDuck’s basic attack drops 3 coins on the ground, for him to collect later.
Active: Scrooge McDuck pulls out a giant magnet and pulls all of his coins back to him, dealing X damage for each coin that passes through enemies.
This ability drains all enemies of 50% of their Basic Damage and Skill Power, granting Scrooge 15% of the stolen stats. Both effects last for 8 seconds."
Green Skill - Working Overtime
- Increased damage by 50%
- Reduced cooldown to 12 seconds
- Increased knockback distance by 50%
- Reduces distance of each jump by 30%, making it possible to hit enemies multiple times
- The animation speed of this ability is increased by 50%
- New effect: Enemies hit multiple times by this ability are Stunned for 6 seconds
“Scrooge jumps on his cane like a pogo stick, bouncing through enemies, knocking them back and dealing X damage each time he hits an enemy. Enemies hit multiple times by this ability are Stunned for 6 seconds.”
Blue Skill - Flying Fortune
- Increased damage by 25%
- This ability now deals Normal damage
- Reduced initial cooldown by 1.5 seconds and total cooldown by 3 seconds
- New effect: The money bag remains on the ground for 6 seconds, Distracting all enemies while it remains on the field
“Scrooge throws a sack of coins at the furthest enemy, dealing X to enemies in an area and scattering 11 coins on the ground. The money bag remains on the ground for 6 seconds, Distracting all enemies while it remains on the field.”
Purple Skill - Money to Be Made
- Increased healing by 50%
- New effect: Scrooge’s abilities deal 100% additional damage to shielded enemies
- New effect: Coin Collection now removes Invincibility effects from enemies, and grants himself Invincibility for 6 seconds if he removes any such effect
"Scrooge is so delighted to get his coins back from Coin Collection that he heals for X HP per coin that he gets back. Coin Collection also removes Invincibility effects from enemies, granting Scrooge Invincibility for 6 seconds if he removes any such effect.
In addition, Scrooge’s abilities deal 100% additional damage to shielded enemies."
Red Skill - Pile o’ Gold
- Attack speed effect unchanged
- Reworked effect: Scrooge’s basic attacks always bounce once to hit a nearby enemy, and Scrooge’s basic attack now hits 3 times, each hit targeting a random enemy, corresponding to the 3 dropped coins from his passive
- Bonus stats unchanged
"Each coin Scrooge retrieves from Coin Collection increases his Attack Speed by 10% for the rest of the wave.
Scrooge’s basic attacks now hit 3 times, with each hit dropping 1 coin. Each hit targets a random enemy and bounces once to hit another nearby enemy."
Friend Campaign Disks
Disk #1 - Hercules
- Current Level Effect: Reworded effect to state that each coin deals the additional damage for each enemy present on the battlefield
- Added Level Effect: +X Skill Power
- Current Star Effect: Removed
- New Star Effect: Coin Collection causes all enemies hit to be Stunned for 0.2 (+0.2 per additional star) seconds per coin
Disk #2 - Huey, Dewey, & Louie
- Current Level Effect: Removed
- New Level Effect: +X Basic Damage
- New Level Effect: Each hit of Working Overtime deals X additional damage
- Current Star Effect: Removed
- New Star Effect: Once per wave, upon reaching 1 HP, Scrooge McDuck will Cleanse himself of all debuffs and immediately use Working Overtime. He is then healed for 3% (+3% per additional star) of his maximum HP each time this use of Working Overtime deals damage to an enemy.
