New Refresh Concept: Jack Skellington
The Pumpkin King certainly has seen better days, that’s for sure. Intended to be one of the premier Scare units, Jack Skellington is now anything but. And he is way, way too slow to boot! By focusing on improving his damage and giving his crowd control a bit of extra oomph, let’s see if we can make the #1 celebrity of Halloween Town into a real spooky powerhouse.
The Refresh
General
- Jack’s badges have been adjusted, granting him 70% Reality Negation, 65% Fantastic Crit, 50% Tenacity, and 45% Crit Damage at most Red and Yellow ranks.
Base Stats
- Basic damage increased by 100%
- Skill power increased by 75%
- HP increased by 100%
- Base attack speed increased by 100%
Skills
White Skill - Master of Fright
- The passive damage over time is now dealt every second for 5 seconds instead of in total over 3 seconds, and the damage per second has been increased by 300%
- Both the Scare and Stun duration have been increased to 8 seconds
- New effect: Enemies affected by this ability also have their Energy reduced by 250
"Passive: Jack sets his pumpkins aflame, making his basic attacks do Fantastic damage while dealing an additional X damage every second for 5 seconds.
Active: Jack twists his face into a horrible sight, Scaring and Stunning enemies for 8 seconds and removing 250 Energy from them.
The Scare, Stun, and Energy removal have a chance to fail against enemies above level X."
Green Skill - What’s This?!
- Increased damage by 700%
- Initial cooldown reduced by 1.5 seconds
- Scare duration increased to 8 seconds
- New effect: The toy duck now drags the furthest enemy with it all the way to the player’s frontline and applies 5 stacks of Fatigue to that enemy
"Jack throws a present at the farthest enemy and a maniacal toy duck emerges, Scaring nearby enemies for 8 seconds before traveling back towards Jack. The duck hits all enemies for X damage as it travels.
The duck also drags the furthest enemy with it to the player’s frontline, applying 5 stacks of Fatigue to the dragged enemy.
The Scare has a chance to fail against enemies above level X."
Blue Skill - Jack-O-Lantern
- Increased splash radius by 100%
- New effect: Jack’s basic attacks deal additional damage to all enemies hit
- New effect: Jack gains 100% increased attack speed for the duration as well as 5 stacks of Hardy when activated
"Jack engulfs himself in flames for 10 seconds, gaining 5 stacks of Hardy and causing his basic attacks to deal X additional damage and splash to multiple enemies. Jack’s Attack Speed is increased by 100% for the duration
The Hardy application has a chance to fail above level X."
Purple Skill - Trick-or-Treats
- Increased healing by 400%
- New effect: Jack’s basic attacks increase the duration of Stuns and Scares on the target by 2 seconds
“Jack and his allies heal X HP whenever they damage a Scared enemy. In addition, Jack’s basic attacks increase the duration of Stuns and Scares on the target by 2 seconds.”
Red Skill - Sound of a Scream
- Removed the level requirement from applying Scare on basic attacks
- Stat increases unchanged
- New effect: While under the effects of Jack-O-Lantern, Jack’s basic attacks remove 2 random buff from each enemy hit, with a chance to fail against enemies above level X
"If Jack or any of his allies Scare an enemy who is already Scared, the enemy takes X damage. Jack’s basic attacks also Scare enemies for 5 seconds.
While under the effects of Jack-O-Lantern, Jack’s basic attacks remove 2 random buffs from each enemy hit.
The buff removal has a chance to fail against enemies above level X."

Disk #1 - Sally
- Current Level Effect: Increased damage per second by 100%
- Added Level Effect: +X Basic Damage
- Current Star Effect: Wording changed to specify that Jack prefers to target enemies not currently affected by the damage over time from Master of Fright
- Current Star Effect: Increased duration of damage over time from Master of Fright by 2 (+2 per additional star) seconds
- Added Star Effect: When Jack reaches 0 HP, he Cleanses himself of all debuffs and becomes Invincible for 1.5 (+1.5 per additional star) seconds.
Disk #2 - Mad Hatter
- Current Level Effect: Increased Skill Power bonus by 350%
- Added Star Effect: The additional toy ducks each drag a random enemy to the player’s frontline and apply 1 (+1 per additional star) stacks of Fatigue to them.
