You’re not quite understand our predicament here.

This is a strategy game, see? Meaning you have to use different characters and disk in order to counter and defeat specific characters (any character and disk are useful given the situation you are in).

And I’m paraphrasing Mr. Huph when I say, the perfect team is like an enormous clock and it only works when all of the cogs mesh together.

But if characters like Sally and Rex had their power increased ten-fold, all strategy is no longer in the cards for anyone and your team is pretty much done for. Especially in friendships where you have a fixed team.

So, not necessarily make them like they used to be, but just to the point where they can be useful in a fight but at the same time, can be countered and defeated whenever people comes across them.

For instance, any character that can utilize either invincibility or beserk like Hades or Beast is a great counter for Sally. They go through her poisonous fog and get to her before she gets to you.

The bad thing about this game was when they started making meaningless buffs that just increase the damage x1000 and that’s it. The buffs they gave before, if you could call them balance. How the one they gave to Miguel not only improved and stopped being the disgusting character he was, but he had the use of it and it wasn’t broken, buffs like the ones they gave to Sulley in his time. But now it has been decided to simply raise the number to the maximum and that’s it. The character is still bad, his skill kit is bad, but he does so much damage that the rest doesn’t matter.

Oh, that’s weird. I’ve never had anything like that happen, I would always be the one losing against Sally while using Pegasus. I’ve gone to the point having to do a Ian/Meg/Negaduck combo to even get past her.

we’ve been commenting this on like the last 4-5 patch season/new hero posts, and PBs only response has been to raise the numbers even more each time - I wouldn’t hold out much hope on the game going back to being playable at this stage

subclasses don’t help because we can bring all the reality we want against Sally but what if she has reality negation?

fully expecting the next round of heroes to have someone that gives like 10 Trillion reality to account for this

It’s only 75%, and even then, her numbers are so insane no reality buff will help you.

Pegasus awfully balanced stats only affect pvp (like all broken new heroes ever released), meanwhile broken sallies softlocks friendship campaigns while being nearly as annoying as pega in pvp. Two things can be broken at once and Sally is the biggest offender rn

Yeah ik not every new hero is going to be Nega or Pega tier, still less problematic than Sally retroactively locking older heroes out of their disks and driving away new players

I feel like some don’t understand that nerfing a broken hero to a more balanced state doesn’t mean making them useless… especially if it were to be applied to all broken numbers. The standard would just be lower, the effectiveness would be similar without breaking the game

I was using Rose for a spar against a team with Pegasus, Rex, Sally, Gadget Hawkwrench and Jim Hawkins. While the battle ended well, with Rose having only a few HP left, sometimes the game slightly lagged while Pegasus was using his blue skill.

@Samm, there are too many buffs and debuffs in the new heroes. I don’t know how you will fix this, by making the game not lagging so much when this happens or by making a new hero but with less buffs or debuffs, this absolutely needs a stop.

Im going to have to agree with this one. I dont think any hero deserves a nerf. Buff, yes! But not nerfs…not zeus, rose, maui, pegasus, negaduck…nobody. In time, more OP heroes will come out and people should start raising them to easily kill off the current OPs. Until then, raise the same OPs to make the fights more fair

How that suppose to help in campaigns? It won’t.

3 heroes need a nerf.

And pb overdid the unasked nerf for Rose. Nerf that annoying horse… you cause more unbalance.

Well that’s wrong, all games of this style nerf and buff and if they don’t, they add character blocking options so you don’t have to deal with them in PvP. In addition, they are looking for solutions so that they are not annoying in pve campaigns.

Totally an option for friendship campaigns, sure. And for new players just starting to get into the campaign chapters where Sally starts appearing.

But hey, I guess everyone else likes seeing numbers increasing by a factor of 10 every couple of months. What could go wrong?

There’s nothing fair about the majority of fights anymore. Hero power is massively out of balance across the roster. Many older heros are at a distinct disadvantage as while their stats have been buffed, their friendship disks and skills were never upgraded with the buff and debuff capabilities we see on newer heros. Look at Frozone, Jack Sparrow, and Finnick’s disks compared to Pegasus, Abu, and Rose’s disks and it shows just how far things have power crept.
Similarly increased buffs are creating an increasing number of softlocks, especially in friendship campaigns. I’ve got one right now with Scar that’s going to take forever to deal with - I’ve got no way of targeting him while invisible. Thus meaning I have to stay alive against his increased damage for a third of the battle run time before I can even hit him… I’ve got another where I’m gonna have to one shot Gerald to be able to pass - both characters have knockback but as soon as he sets foot on that rock for half a second damage is negated by his heal.

The game increasingly is difficult to play with all of these power heros disrupting things that should be straightforward…

I mean, it’s not like players are gonna have a “Collection” of Friend Campaigns with red arrows, and 0 green, right!? XDXD
