In the old films Maleficent is the best ever villain, in the new films she’s a lovely person who is just misunderstood and wants the best for her friends, to me that makes her a pretty great character (If not the best)

I do love Mary Poppins though

I never saw the second Maleficent film, only the first. In the first one, she is good in the end. How is she the 'Mistress of Evil" in the second one? Thanks

To be honest, I think they called the movie this way just to quote the original, cause here Maleficent is evil to nobody, she is just grumpy sometimes and can’t smile, looks like it brings her physical pain.

Also I think she is maybe the Mistress of Evil in the story that was told to scare people (which you would need to see the film for, but basically in the story she’s more like her old film evil style when really she’s nice and the story was made up to make her look bad)
At least that’s how I see it
