So as you all may know every weekend there is some sort of contest that occurs. This week (week for May 3rd) we are getting the City Faire Contest. Below is a screen shot of the event from last month, in April…and compared this screen shot to the current City Faire contest, something is amiss…(the cost of these tokens have considerably cut. So you need to earn more tokens in order to complete the event, which would mean more time on the APP/Platform)
So why does the PB Development team think it’s a smart idea to lower the cost of the tokens? Do they factor in how much time players spend at some of these tasks, everyday. It really takes the fun out of the game. Instead, like what many veteran players have complained about, the game is becoming more and more of CHORE rather than a fun and competitive game. Do I want to spend 15 to 20 of my heists tickets to spend time in heists in order to get the necessary heist tokens needed for this event??
I am frustrated at this attempt by PB to make the contest more cut throat and ultra competitive. I pay for some of the services and deals from time to time. But I am slowly realizing how the company is milking every little aspect of the game. I was excited for this contest, but not anymore. It going to be a hassle going to the game, earning tokens, only for the tokens to cost less and less than before. And with Invasion now being rolled out, I have to worry about keeping up with Diamonds, and it’s never ending.
THE ECONOMICS of this game really hurts players? When is it appropriate to spend hundreds of dollars only to unlock a small portion of a game? you can pay for a full version of a game for PS4 or XBox one at actual cost, and then pay for add-ons. But the add-ons for Disney Battle Heroes cost more than an actual full version game, that only unlocks Diamonds to pay for things in the game…
Am I insane for thinking this???
