Dev Q&A Questions for Perblue - Responses!

• • [Leaf] We’ve looked into refreshing the heroes everyone gets access to at the very beginning of the game, like Vanelope or Ralph, but we keep coming to the roadblock that it will throw off the balance and the play of the early game. Players who are new to Disney Heroes will have a more confusing experience, and will be less likely to keep playing and join our community. We’ve decided to hold off on refreshing Vanelope and other very early heroes like her until we can come up with a better solution.

Ok, but this answer is just stupid.

1. First chapters give diamond crates so new players will get some of the newer heroes anyways.
2. ALL HEROES COST THE SAME TO MAX - DISKS, MODS, STARS, SKILLS, BADGES AND OTHER THINGS COST THE SAME FOR ALL, THEN WHY PLAYER WHICH SPEND ON RALPH WILL GET NOTHING FROM THE SPENT $30, BUT OTHER PLAYER WHICH SPEND THE SAME AMOUNT OF MONEY FOR CHESHIRE WILL GIVE HUGE DIFFERENCE. THIS IS COMPLETELY OUTRAGEOUS ANSWER.
3. What kind of confusion is even mentioned?! People will quit because starting heroes will be useable? How… People will leave because Ralph is dying in the tutorial battles and have no chance against other players with a bigger amount of heroes received outside of the diamond crates from campaing.
4. Not the thing mentioned but answers like that make people quit, this answer doesn’t have any logic and discriminate players.
5. Oh, this is ‘‘collect and evolve’’ game, why someone who likes WiR movie can’t enjoy using Ralph and Vanellope and is forced to use someone else?
6. Friendship campaign, Ralph and Vanellope are still being used as allies, so why they are ‘‘allowed’’ to be weak if they are still part of the game just as the other heroes. You’ve created the system and then ignore its existence… ~
7. All heroes should be in similar level as in the 2 point said, everyone cost same to max.

Please answer to this. It might be not the nicest, but I just feel bad about this answer.

It just can’t be that bad heroes will be always bad, it’s unfair and resouces spent on the old heroes are just wasted.

If devs are so scared of the very beginning, then maybe just refresh green, blue, purple and red skills for beta heroes? It just feel bad and sad that PB refuse to refresh the most needed.

1. We have old DuckTales, but it would be possible to add Della Duck, she is amazing character and it would be appreciated to include her.
2. Same as above, but about Don Karnage, is he possible to add?
3. Why Vanellope have only 90 reality negation, there is a badge which gives 170 reality negation and would fix her problem, and maybe even, then, she won’t need such refresh.
4. There is HUGE negative feedback of Basil’s and Kim’s terribleness, will it be fixed?

However, it’s clearly visible that her damage and stats are from May 2019 (the first time she appeared in game’s data) and it’s making a huge impact in game, she doesn’t have much chance to stand against new or even older heroes.

Phineas and Ferb characters are not impossible to get added to the game. I’m afraid that’s the best answer I can give right now.

We aren’t planning one at this moment but if that changes we’ll let you guys know right away. Thanks for your patience!

How do you choose what characters to add? Is it a measure of what the entire team wants? Or is it a random choice? Also, do you ever choose based on tie in events such as a anniversary or a film or show releasing?

Also, will there be a time when the purple cosmetic crates are given more of and orange will substitute them in progress rewards?

I mean, there are 120 crates in a 50 dollar deal, so 2.5 crates almost in a dollar! You could give a handful of those for free, please.

Also, could you PLEASE remove the timer on Badge Booster Crates soon? They are great and we want more of those. Also, could you change the Battle Mode Badge Crate to be more like Badge Booster Crates?

Additional thing, why have you given Jack Sparrow on Savvy Basic Damage but not a boost to his Purple Skill instead? Just curious.
