Welcome to the Mickey for Mayor Prologue!
The Prologue is smaller than the Chapters will be, with 7 endings.
I know it got delayed a lot, but here it is!
Start

The City.
A Place Where Heroes, Villains and even normal people are brought together under common goals.
But despite their need for each other, Good and Evil can’t work together forever. Betrayal didn’t take very long.
It’s been nearly 3 years since the first group of heroes and villains found themselves lost in The City. Many of them have become allies, teammates, even friends.
In the past several months, it was decided that The City needed a Mayor. Tonight, Mickey Mouse will become Mayor of The City.
It is in this way that our story begins, for a Detective fears the criminals of The City have been to quiet, and may be planning something horrible for the beloved Mouse.
Basil:
Something is off…
But how to approach the situation?
Do Nothing. It's Been A Long Day.
Basil:
I’ll never get anywhere if I’ve barely slept.
???:
So Basil slept on his desk. But He awoke to panic.
Goofy:
Gawrsh! Basil come quickly!
Basil:
Wha- What is it? What’s going on?!
Goofy:
Mickey vanished! Into thin air!
Basil:
Have you checked the Security Footage? Lie detectors on the guards?
Goofy:
Everything looks fine! But it’s not!
Basil:
Fine? Fine, how? Did he disappear off the security Footage or was he never there at all?
Goofy:
I told ya! He vanished!
THE SLEEPY ENDING

???:
Basil decided he should consult another Detective. Perhaps another genius crime solver had a lead.
Ask Darkwing Duck
???:
Basil finds Darkwing Duck on a rooftop.
Darkwing Duck:
I am the sock that gets stuck to your toe nail I am Darkwing Duck!
Basil:
I hate to interrupt you Darkwing, but I’m suspicious the criminals of the city might be planning to strike. It’s been too quiet.
Darkwing Duck:
I’m currently on the tail of someone right now! Or at least I think I am. Whoever they are they keep leaving pieces of paper with year dates everywhere.
Basil:
Year dates? Any pattern?
Darkwing Duck:
Yes! It’s been counting down from 2021. I just found 1992 right here.
Basil:
Fascinating…
???:
A piece of paper falls down from the sky. Basil grabs it.
Basil:
1991. You can’t fly can you?
Darkwing Duck:
…no.
Basil:
Well then I don’t how we’ll be going up.
Launchpad (2017):
I’m a pilot.
Darkwing Duck:
Launchpad how long have you been here.
Launchpad (2017):
When did you find 2004?
Darkwing Duck:

Basil:
Nevermind how long you’ve been here! We haven’t a moment to loose!

Basil, Darkwing and Launchpad (2017) spend all night following the trail of years.
Basil:

Suddenly the group hears sirens, screaming and panic. They rush to the source of noise, seeing 1926, 1925, 1924, 1923 and 1922 on the way. They arrive at the scene of the crime, Mickey has disappeared from office on his first day. A single slip of paper…
Basil:

???:
While pondering who to ask, Basil bumps into a rusty Tow Truck.
Basil:
Ah, Mater you solved a mystery once didn’t you? Have you noticed anything suspicious lately.
Mater:
Ah shoot, thanks for remembering! Just between you and me us agents of C.H.R.O.M.E. have intercepted some weeeeeiiiird signals but don’t tell nobody.
Basil:
Signals? Any idea what from?
Mater:
Well… come on I’ll show you…

Mater pretends to hide behind objects as he leads Basil C.H.R.O.M.E HQ.
Mater:
Uh… I’ve brought a guest… hope you don’t mind…
Finn McMissle:
Not at the moment, but that could easily change.
Mater:
Alright! Basil, McMissle, McMissle, Basil. There now you know each other. Basil is a Detective he’s here about the signals.
Basil:
Yes, I’m concerned Trouble is brewing.
Finn McMissle:
As am I. These Signals are coming from a communicator located somewhere in town. It’s either moving far faster than anything are equipment has ever attempted to track or has some kind of anti-tracking software.
Basil:
How do you know it’s a communicator?
Finn McMissle:
Because we intercepted a transmission before it reached it’s destination.

I’m usually a field agent. I’m not formally trained in codes. We’re waiting for Agent Shiftwell to return from her search to decode it.

Basil returned it home. He was now certain something was going to happen very soon.

Ask Stanford Pines
???:
Basil knows only one genius who can help him see different angle. Basil arrives at the Mystery Shack. Stanford Pines, a scientist and expert in the mysteries of the Paranormal lives in the basement. After knocking on the door, it takes only a few moments for someone to arrive at the door.
Basil:
I’m here to speak with Stanford Pines.
Dipper:
Oh, go to the door behind the Vending Machine and all the way to the last level basement.
Basil:
Thank you!
???:
Basil walked swiftly to the Vending Machine, and into the elevator behind it. He soon reached his destination.
Basil:
Stanford! I fear something big is about to happen.
Ford:
Something is definitely about to happen!
???:
Ford grabbed a strange device off his desk. It had a keypad and a screen.
Basil:
What is that?
Ford:
It’s some kind of communication device! Joe Gardener found it early today. He gave it to me because he thought I might could make sense of it. I’ve got it working and have successfully made contact with whatever or whoever it sends messages to, but they’re just as confused as to who this belongs to as I am!
Basil:
Fascinating! But why do you think something is definitely going to happen?
Ford:
The device contains logs of past transmissions. Some seem to imply a plan to attack Mayor Mickey sometime after he enters office.
Basil:
We have to warn him!
Ford:
I already have, and I’ve warned the ZPD.
Basil:
Is there any form of identification?
Ford:
A label on the back reading “Shirdows”. The account within device is also named Shirdows.
Basil:
But what does that mean?
Ford:
I don’t know.
THE DEVICE ENDING

Hit the streets and ask about strange happenings.
???:
Basil, walked out and onto the street. It was late evening, people were only out if they were coming home from work, or doing something they shouldn’t.
Basil (Thoughts):
I need information on what’s happening…
Speak with Oogie Boogie
Basil:
Oogie, do you happen to know if anything will be happening… tonight?
Oogie Boogie:
Hahaha why would tell you anything rat?
Basil:
Simple, I’m a Detective and it’s not hard to prove you’ve cheated people out of money, and committed Tax Fraud.
Oogie Boogie:
We haven’t been meeting up, the old group of criminals, scoundrels, killers we’ve been waiting. See Maleficent says, somebody new showed up. Somebody no one else saw show up. I’m going back to the casino if you don’t mind…
Basil (Thoughts):
Someone new…?
???: After an otherwise uneventful night, Basil wakes up the next morning to big news…

Basil:
And who might you be?
Cloaked Individual:
People you know, they hide things they once knew. To make themselves look better.
Basil (Thoughts):
I don’t recognize his voice. He sounds as though he is probably quite old…
Cloaked Individual:
I should go. You don’t want to be seen around me…
Basil:
Wait…!
???:
The Cloaked Individual Disappears into the shadows. After a brief moment of confusion, Basil goes home.
???:
Basil wakes up the next morning to learn of a disappearance…

Basil:
Joe, seen anything out of the ordinary?
Joe Gardener:
Actually, I have…
???:
Joe pulls a strange device out of his pocket. It seems to be a communicator.
Basil:
Where did you find that?
Joe Gardener:
It was on the ground I walked home last night. Been trying to figure it out… but no luck.
Basil:
Might I take a look?
Joe Gardener:
Sure.
???:
Basil inspected the device, it clearly had a keypad, and a screen… but how would one activate it… but then Basil noticed something
Basil:
‘Shirdows’ is written on the back…?
Joe:
That’s not a word… is it?
Basil:
Not that I am aware…
