Can you PLEASE make it so people of all levels can get patch. Or the next new feature tat comes out can be available to everyone

It’s not about keeping up we want players to be able to play with their favorite heroes and give them the opportunity to do that. It’s up to your own play style so this can be different to each person. We do not want to dictate this for you. We want all of them to be viable options.

I see, so what you mean to say that you want players to be able to use and keep up with their 15 or so characters at max badge rank?

Fair point, but yeah if so I would recommend making the badge maxing process easier so that we players can more easily keep up with 15 characters, as such having more of a change making use of the Franchise Trials and take part and have fun :-). (Not taking into account the Badge Booster Crates).

In my view, the question of Patched Heroes are intertwined with the badge costs, as right now one can’t really afford that easily to switch characters if at Yellow. Even if I wanted to switch to my favorite characters from them becoming viable power wise, I am actually not sure if I could justify the badge costs for that switch.

So yeah, I am kind of locked to the characters I already have, or in the other case take me months to properly switch over to the characters I actually like. As such Patched Heroes don’t really mean much to me or Refreshes in general, I don’t get enough badge resources to justify the switch to my favorite characters.

This is the issue.

Not exactly to huge extent, and idk if that’s such a bad thing. I bumped up my Aladdin to around Y10 which was plenty strong enough to solo the Aladdin trial, and easily manageable without spending money.

And now I have a reasonably decent Aladdin I can decide whether I want to add to my team :man_shrugging:

Agree completely with @Zuriel_IX , being able to play all the heroes doesn’t mean that we actually have to.

… and just to be clear lol, yes I do think the stamina costs are far too high, but this isn’t exacerbated by the Patch Trials.

Yes, but it is a month long and we will only get the top level where Patch Essence 1 is needed (level 5) for one hero…

Yes, but it’s hard to keep up every rank (not just for F2P players) with the heroes we have at/near max rank and raise one hero (or, well, in this instance, we kinda need at least 3 this time around) anew.

I however do know that keeping up all heroes + raise up 3 anew “freely” cannot be done since at some point all the players would keep up with any released heroes and no one would buy deals, which would mean effective game end.
Hence why I kinda hoped that Patched Heroes are just revamped Ascension from PQ.

Yes and I believe I have said it before, but we are working on the quality of life issues with resources. This is a big project and will not be done overnight as it’s the entire economy.

We don’t comment on all the comments brought up on resourcing costs because we know and have said it before that it’s being worked on. It’s a BIG project.

Well, I guess we will rate it 1-10 upon how it comes out. Hopefully not too far away, but likely (for me at least) the horizon of release would be somewhere in the end of 1Q of 2023 the soonest.

I did say however that a small preliminary decision would be to add at least all the bits to the gold crate and diamond crate (orange - for gold crates, red, yellow) and a slider on them (gold crates). Although I can see the balancing issues it could bring as well, to an extent.

When you mentioned it is true that you have mentioned that you are looking into the resource economy, but wasn’t such on which part of the economy it was referred to and if it was specifically in terms of the Badge economy.

well Kira, the biggest mystery for me would be the approach of handling the badge economy…

A) will the scaling of free stamina and Get More Stamina be changed but the rest will stay the same
OR
B) badge crafting needs will be tinkered with and the finalised costs will be lower and more even for ranks to come

I kinda hope for B, but expect A.
About the same for patch essence or megabits - the costs likely will never be reduced, the gains might be raised, but to what degree or scaling is a mystery and it either can be good or bad.

I see and yeah, can hope for a hybrid I suppose as in lower costs and more free stamina :-).

Anyway, this post is for feedback in terms of the Patched Heroes update, so now that we have gotten our answers on the badges we can likely go back the Patched Heroes feedback.

But eventually +200 heroes will have their patch, and 18 essence daily will take ages to unlock all, and upgrade them to level 5 on at least main 15 heroes.
It’s worse than megabits now.

Unfortunately, whether it is liked or not, stamina (or lack thereof) is directly linked to Patch acquistion.

The first two days, I got 50 patch each, enough to give two seperate characters level 1 patch each.
So I thought, maybe this can work.

Day 3 took that happy perspective away! :sob:
I only got 10 Patch.

Because one of the patch trials required me to use low level characters due to the franchise limitation (Zootopia).
Since only Koslov is high level, it meant I had to go low to find a Patch challenge that team could defeat, resulting in less Patch obtained.

So in conclusion, Patch is another mechanic designed to “encourage” high level character upgrading, as many or maybe all of them.
Since it is not possible to upgrade that many characters, the Patch system is adversely affected as a result.

Saying “use all characters” and being able to do so are two seperate/incompatible statements.

@Loutre … and this is why many of us advocate for expanded guild perks or slowing down cap increases longer than once a month … they serve as a small temporary band aid until the larger wound is actually repaired if you will. A small help is better than the wait for the long term fix with no help in between till than.

@Loutre, why when every new feature comes to the game it is only available at a high level. I am sure all different players got excited when we could get a new way to upgrade our heroes, only to realize that you can only get it when you are at a high level. I really hope you can understand that to be able to get anything exciting and new in this game it takes years. Please add things for all players to be able to use. If it is not level based, then it costs massive amounts of money. It is hard to progress without taking money out of my bank account. But it is mostly that it is level based for patch that makes me disappointed. PLEASE make it so patch is available to all players.

I love this game so much, and I really enjoy playing it. But I really need exciting new content even at my level. I hope this did not come out as mean or disrespectful. I know people put a lot of hard work into upgrading this game. But I am sure a lot of players
want more accessible content! Once again, I hope this didn’t come across as rude. :slightly_smiling_face::slightly_smiling_face:

As for the system itself, I guess it’s fine, and will be decent when better franchises roll around. But, nothing short of some ridiculously overpowered rework is going to make me invest in characters like Aladdin or Hiro just to do higher level tiers. Also not sure why the daily chances are so limited, but I’m sure that will change in three to six months or never, as is tradition with changes to existing systems in this game.

As for rewards, I would say that y’all need to learn how to scale them better, but I know that the people in charge know exactly what they’re doing and it’s done deliberately and on purpose to push and sell 'Patch Level Deals!!" :roll_eyes: Not to mention those deals are greedy AF - the daily deal gives you LESS than three starring the top tier trial?! Please tell me even the whales aren’t falling for this BS. At the levels that almost every server is up to now, doing anything like red skills, battle badges, and now patches requires thousands upon thousands upon thousands of resources and you have them given out in 10s and 100s. I get that you don’t want players to not have a carrot to chase who then get bored and quit - that’s just the nature of mobile games like this. But, this sort of poorly scaled, drip fed nonsense only serves to actively drive players away.

Patch system feels like a “do it yourself” heros refresh to indeed patch the lack of power of old heros. The trials of the week or month gives essence for heros that most people who already progress high in the game don’t use anymore. What I see coming is again players will need to spend cash just to stay relevants and compete with others. It sap the moral of player who don’t want or can’t invest huge amount of money on the game.

From what I understand that’s the entire point - PB have buffed these heroes significantly and want people to try them out again :man_shrugging:

I have to mostly disagree with this. I mentioned in an earlier comment that to pass Aladdin Trial 9 (the maximum Patch Essence), I chose to upgrade my Aladdin to around Y10. The rest are Purple!

Since the trial lasts for 30 days and will be open around 10 times, the smallish chunk of stamina I chose to spend, especially during FTN, doesn’t seem like it’s wasted.

If you wanted to max out all 4-5 franchise heroes, then sure, that’s suuuuuper expensive. But I like that to get the maximum rewards, you really don’t have to go anywhere near that far.

This is currently my only ‘concern’ with Patch - I really, really hope the Essence we can earn scales as more franchises get added.

The patches are good for strengthening heroes, but we need more tries to get more of these patches as if they’ll get more tedious if we’re gonna patch up the heroes and upgrade them otherwise this is gonna take longer for us to get patches in terms of waiting time and not to mention the drops too. Crates containing the patches may be another thing that we can use if we have a lot of heroes to patch up and upgrade.

If this means seeing BIG buffs for units that still need it, I’m all for that, but at the same time it’s nearly impossible to keep up because rank ups are a huge demand, and by extension meeting the requirements to beat modern friendship campaigns

Every issue the game has right now, character balancing issues aside, can be traced directly to the awful stamina cost relative to how much we actually get for free

It even comes back to the whole patch mechanic, because it’s going to be a much slower process getting patches if you don’t have all the necessary teams ranked up high enough to get the optimal rewards
