How is it fair, when the vast majority bought the deal because of the stamina, and the fix includes absolutely no stamina for the people who purchased it? Instead, everyone gets stamina, the exact same if you purchased the deal or not, and the people who paid money got a bunch of items that have nothing to do with what they wanted.

If you ordered AirPods from Amazon, at the wrong price, and Amazon said “sorry we had the wrong price for AirPods listed, so instead we are sending you a calculator, a cute stuffed animal, this shirt, and a case for the AirPods we are not sending you” that would not be acceptable. At all. In fact it would lead to some pretty bad problems for Amazon.

Sadly, we all agreed to their TOS which is pretty blatantly clear about this type of event in multiple areas. Yeah it sucks, but they have it in the TOS we all agreed to.

PERBLUE ASSUMES NO LIABILITY OR RESPONSIBILITY FOR (A) ERRORS, MISTAKES, OR INACCURACIES OF THE GAME; (B) ANY PRODUCTS OR SERVICES LISTED ON OR PURCHASED THROUGH THE GAME

  1. PerBlue has the absolute right to manage, regulate, control, modify and/or eliminate such Virtual Goods as it sees fit in its sole discretion, and PerBlue shall have no liability to you or anyone for the exercise of such rights.

  2. You agree to not dispute or charge-back any payments for purchases that have been successfully credited to your account within the Game or otherwise attempt to defraud PerBlue. Should PerBlue receive notice of any payment disputes or charge-backs for successfully completed purchases which have already been credited to Your account, You agree that Your account will be temporarily suspended until the payment dispute or charge-back is cancelled. If the dispute or charge-back is not cancelled in time, and the funds from the purchase are reversed by the payment processor, Your account will be indefinitely suspended until You re-pay said funds to PerBlue, in addition to any Fees charged to PerBlue by the payment processor for having reversed the transaction.

So legally they don’t owe us anything and can do what they want. Again, awful situation and outcome…but yeah, we signed up for it

I don’t get athe offer. I spend several hundreds in this game and thoose who only spend 10 dollars can just overrun me now. That’s a big shame on pb… if you don’t fix it you will never see any cent.

The simple point is “Don’t Bite the Hand That Feeds”.

We all know they can (and definitely will) do whatever they want, but we don’t have to be happy about their “fair solution” and we can let them know what we think about it.

I would argue that the purchase was not “successfully credited” to my account. I was not able to successfully utilize the items I purchased before they were removed. I agreed to purchase guaranteed badges, stamina, diamonds, and vip Bands. Instead I got guaranteed badges, diamond crates, red skill crates, gold, exp, diamonds, and vip bands. Had the number of stamina changed, I wouldn’t have as much of an issue, since I may have still made the purchase initially. However, I never would have agreed to buy red skill crates, diamond crates, or gold, which were the replacement items.

This is their taking of our money, and giving us items we had no desire to purchase, nor did we agree to purchase.

It’s ridiculous. You’re making so many people pissed off. Including me. It’s not fair the way you handled the matter. Some of us who already spent those stams, what about that? The way you can make it right is you reset all to the way it was before, you give everyone chances to buy. Not taking your offer. I want my money back. The compensation is trash.

Dont get me wrong I am furious also, I wasnt offered the deal and am very bothered that players with a few days played are caught up with me or past me now. Its not fair at all and I wish they would do more. Just dont hold your breath, as from what I am making of the TOS, they dont technically have to do anything…

Now, why they would choose to ■■■■ off the majority of two whole servers is beyond me, regardless of if they legally “can” because of their pretty shockingly unfair TOS.

It looks like a scam. The offer you have posted is a public offer, so it must be fully implemented. If it weren’t for my stamina, i wouldn’t waste my money. I don’t need red skills and chests as i need stamina. I demand a refund

I am just an observant here, since I just started an acc on S22 like two days ago. Otherwise playing on S1 which didn´t have the broken deals.

Anyway @Polaris I´d like to pick up one thing the team likely didn´t realize. The compensation for 500 stamina packs taken was not appropriate since all people value stamina packs above red skill crates, diamond crates, ultra XP drinks and such.
So, ultimately, the best decision instead of taking away the stamina would be to give players that didn´t have the chance to purchase the deal roughly 1-2M Badge Bazaar tokens so that if they reach the level necessary to equip badges, they can mostly buy them there. In this way I´d call it fair, since everyone is free to choose badges they need and more importantly, that´s what the stamina packs were USED FOR.

Secondly, I´d like to say I expected this backlash. Am not surprised about it and kind of glad to decide not spending any cent on my main account (S1) anymore.

Anyway, back on-topic. YES, I believe 1.5M Badge Bazaar tokens would be the appropriate compensation. It was not part of the deal, but has similar effect as stamina packs.

And those that got stamina taken would get 100K Badge Bazaar tokens for 500 stamina packs taken.

Can you put the equivalent bids on those who weren’t lucky enough to buy the bug bids, as you create a mismatch between the lucky and the unlucky. 200M gold, bottles of exp and more will help some players

It’s not necessarily fair, but the whole situation isn’t fair. Not everyone was offered the deal or would’ve had the means to buy it.

The best solution is the one that upsets the least amount of people as possible. I’m yet to see a better solution offered than those proposed in this post :man_shrugging:

It’s not fair. It was a mistake - what would you suggest, removing everything that was spent by people who bought the deal & used the items?

That’s a logistical nightmare - other resources that weren’t from the deal such as gold, badge bits would’ve also been used and the amounts would be different for everybody. They’ve also still paid for the deal, so would be getting even less for their money and would probably be upset anyway.

A full server rollback would upset everyone on the server which would be so much worse.

I can’t see how there’s anything else to do than what Polaris has proposed - the value of compensation can always be debated, but that plus the other points seem like a generous solution which they don’t have to offer at all.

Better solution would have been to add Badge Bazzar tokens or Badge crates as compensation at least people would have got some badges for heroes which they would have used the stamina on to get.

There is a perfectly reasonable solution.

Offer it to every single person on the server. At that point, everyone can make their own decision in if it is worth their money or not. After everyone has had 24 hours to decide if they want to buy it or not, then retire the deal, never to be seen again, if they so choose.

This way it is 100% fair to everyone. The people who purchased it, well they get to keep the items they bought. The people who didn’t have the deal, well they now have the option to purchase it too. Everyone has the same opportunity.

Now, you have people who purchased it and spent it. You have people who didn’t spend it. You have items taken from people, and given items they never would have purchased. You basically have a giant bait and switch scam now. In addition, you have people who never had the opportunity to buy 1. The original pack, or 2. Buy the replacement pack we were forced to take for our money if we anted it or not.

There is no world where just giving the same opportunity to every player wasn’t 1. The most fair option, and 2. The easiest option, and 3. The right option.
