I am F2P. The Prize Wall sucks up ALL of one`s stamina. There is a decent amount of other resources that is handy, but no other character progresses when the Prize Wall is active. BUT, to get the final award, 5,000 diamonds, is just not possible. I am always 40 to 50 Thousand Stamina short of getting the character to Yellow. The 5,000 Diamonds is attractive, but clearly, and completely out of reach.

Is it just me or we get less token from hero quests now that we earn some extra diamonds from them?

Yes, we saw that there was a dip in Prize Wall retention so we’re seeing if the extra diamonds and other rewards helps. We had to reduce the Prize Wall tokens given in the Hero Quests due to this. We did also see that players were doing the Hero Quests less than the regular daily quests.

Why it was a need?
Without these prize wall tokens players equally get less hero chips and other rewards, so at the end we are getting similar value of items, if not less, definitely less hero chips which after prize wall are horrible to get, far enough to max hero’s red skill, now it will be only worse.

When the staff will finally increase red skill chips from prize wall, asked since forever and nothing was changed. Prize wall was perfect but missed that single thing, no need to make other unnecessary changes.

Fist of all, as an F2P I don’t have the resources to full upgrade every new Prize Wall character, it is hard enough to keep up with my main characters for me I feel.

That said, if the contest gives points for upgrading the Prize Wall character I might do the 10 promotions and then be done.
If I actually try to invest in the Prize Wall character as an F2P fully depends on if it is character I like and the character having a good skillset. (Underminer isn’t a character I care about, so will skip him. More so care about protagonists(like Encanto’s Mirabel) with good skills and stats).

The daily missions are easy to do F2P wise and much more accessible, so they are something I try to do daily and yeah thanks Loutre/PerBlue for implementing the Prize Wall as it really helps my motivation to overall play :-).

Yes, this is something we had looked into when we saw the Prize Wall retention start to dip. It does not seem to be based on if it’s a higher ranked Hero in the meta or if it is a more popular Disney character. So we’re just testing something new to see if it helps.

I see and interesting.

Though, I recommend checking if it is that active players do the the Hero Quests less than before, or the other case of there being less active players than before.
Separating those two factors/parameters are really important in order to understand the reason for the dip.

If you truly want to check the Prize Wall’s strength, do Mad Hatter for the Prize Wall :-).
Mad Hatter’s is viewed as extremely good if he has his Red skill maxed, however as it is really hard to farm(no shop) old character’s Hero Chips it is hard for us F2Ps to keep up with Red skills and especially starting on them from scratch at Yellow Rank.

If Mad Hatter was in the Price Wall, I think I would probably be willing to go all in as a way at least trying to see how far I can get. it is at least something to keep in mind.

True enough that the Wish Crate can help with Hero Chips for older characters if the Diamond Costs have been made more fair for all players, I remember that it is coming back soon so yeah something to have in mind.

I would at least say that if the character has a good skillset and stats, it is the best draw overall more so than how known the character is :-). Depends a bit, but overall if a character has really good skills, disks and stats then the whales will flock to them and the F2Ps notice and may try to follow if they feel they have the resources.

So yeah, if a character do Normal Damage they should have high [Normal Crit] from badges, not [Fantastic Crit] which seem to have been what has happened more so later. (Been wondering if the Balancer who check things may mix [Normal Crit] and [Fantastic Crit], or the one programming in the badges not taking into account what damage type the character is actually doing as in ending up giving the character badges(stats) that doesn’t help them).
Not saying that all of this is true, but there have been some weird stat distribution lately more so than before, which is probably part of why some characters haven’t been as good as they should have been in order to actually do good monetization wise.

So far all of them were popular and highly requested, Lilo, Bolt, Raya characters, Ariel, …

Zeus is stupidly broken due to his energy steal spam from red skill, so obviously people raised him. And you just seemed to advertise with contests.

Winifred could be the least upgraded hero during her prize wall, even though Hocus Pocus has a cult and her character is enjoyable, sisters! Still, number of players is only decreasing, so she could ended more upgraded (by more players) than Pete…

Underminer wasn’t requested, nor he seems good, check him after his prize wall ends.
As what Kira said is absolutely true, waste of precious stamima on someone bad, and unpopular/not interested.

Nerfing rewards is never good, no matter what.
Diamonds are meh, only used for FTN, otherwise no point nowadays, other new rewards are claimable from prize wall itself.

Winifred’s Prize Wall actually did very well where a Hero we expected to do well, such as Anna, did not have the retention we wanted. Again, we are just testing something new.

The reason many dont do the hero quest for prize wall heroes is that we dont have enough resources :sweat_smile::sweat_smile::sweat_smile: if it is easier to do, I believe many will do it. Not everyone because, let’s face it, not everyone is interested in same thing

Tbh, most of prize wall heroes have been horrible or unpopular. Like this one, I don’t care about Underminer so I won’t work on him. I have my hands full with my current heroes already :sweat_smile::sweat_smile::sweat_smile:

Most of my prize wall heroes are at Orange, lv 150 for me to have some extra token to 6 star them and then I will stop. I’m kinda a collector so I would want ALL my heroes at 6 star

And 1 more thing, why do you care less people do the hero quest? If they still play Prize wall, that means that feature is popular. Isn’t that enough?

This is the issue we’re working on because players are falling off of the Prize Wall and we’re trying something different to see how the data may change.

Keep in mind that it could be related to less active players due to merges and double cap raises, so that is something I recommend being aware of.

This does not appear to be the case either which again is why we’ve made changes to see why daily users are not playing the Prize Wall.

Pathetic, less tokens from hero quests add 50 diamonds or something for each quest to compensate that but they are taken from the 5k diamonds, wow which genius come up with this, seriously lol

We appreciate the feedback regarding the change, but it’s difficult to give feedback without seeing the full data that we see on our end (I wish I could share the full graphs and everything with you all). We’ll be keeping an eye on what is going on with the Prize Wall and you’ll probably see some more changes happening in future.

Oh I forgot to mention why it’s pathetic, you said players where doing Hero less often that is because getting the 5000 diamonds seems lot harder so they don’t even try but now since he request give the price wall tokens I won’t even bother because I care about the prize wall tokens more than the diamonds, as prize wall tokens give badge crates indirectly but diamonds can suck it

People don’t like a free 6-star hero? Now that’s weird…
