Prize Wall Feedback

Considering I monitored what kind of “investment” is needed to get a hero to 250, Yellow compared to 200, Red… I don´t wonder much why the retention of the Prize Wall went down really…

There is just too many badge bits involved in getting a hero to Yellow and that´s not resolved by halving the gain from the crates.

Yes, I would have said it would be fair to halve the tokens if the rewards per token were doubled. Then again, getting about 1k more diamonds for far less tokens… ehhhhhh.

Well this may be because Anna performs really poorly without freeze allies (mainly Elsa) :sweat_smile:

Heroes that have been considered really good in the meta have also not had the Prize Wall retention we thought we would see though.

I still find it weird calling that “retention” to be honest.

The people who controls badges on hero ranks… honestly should do better job, way too many random stats which don’t work. :confused:
Bagheera has 220 tenacity which does nothing.
All Sanderson sisters have tons of stats which don’t work. Sarah and Mary have 0 working stats.
Lilo needs tenacity…

I mean my guild has bought FAR more tokens for Bagheera than anyone else recently

If the condition to get grand diamond reward is to bring prize wall heroes to red, I’m sure much more people will do it. As it is easier and manageable

To Yellow, nah…unless it is my favourite ones

I see and interesting.

Could be fatigue and like the new novelty wearing off the Prize Wall, which is hard to do something about.

The best you at PerBlue can do maybe is to have a popular character with good stats, skills and disks.
The main problem with some of the Prize Wall characters is that their design skillset wise and stat wise haven’t been synergizing, although maybe more so the earlier ones than the ones we are getting more so these days from the Prize Wall.

Something to keep in mind at least, good skillset with good stats more likely means more money.

This is something we’ve talked about doing and may be a change you see in future. We’re just testing things out right now to see what helps bring back the daily Prize Wall players.

Exactly other stuff is way good than diamonds, if you want completely remove that 5k diamonds and instead compensate them with prize wall tokens what do you say musk?

Rather yes, decrease number of tasks to claim 3k diamonds to 20, keep Upgrade Hero to Yellow task but increase the reward to like 100 prize wall tokens.
More players will be capable of getting 3k diamonds AND amount of prize wall tokens will increase, as is needed now

Could be in some way said how the detention was from the most to the worst? If possible?

The Prize Wall tokens given out will most likely not be going up and instead we add resources to it as it does not seem that as many players are interested in the Prize Wall tokens, but again this is just what we are currently testing.

Well would I throw 5 bucks to get 15 random chances at 4 useless crates, sometimes one useful (Badge) and 1-2 meh cosmetic ones :thinking: :thinking: :thinking:

Decisions, decisions.

I mean, it could just be a general exhaustion and nothing else. Novelty wearing off and people seeing that money gives them… nothing.

Curious @Loutre, the Prize Wall player dip isn’t due to merged accounts or, like there being less accounts than before due to merged accounts? If that’s the case, then that’s not much to do with.

Based on contents we know the overall player population seem to typically be shrinking, like before the merges, so a bit wondering why more aren’t done to bring back older players.

Either way, thought I at least hear if the Prize Wall dip could be due to merged accounts.

I find myself lucky that Perblue decided to decrease token this time as Underminer is not my favourite (Thank God not Anna or Bagheera)

But then again, if this continues in the future and my favourite ones come, it will suck :roll_eyes::roll_eyes::roll_eyes: the amount of hero chips needed are insane (and it keeps increasing) and now, with less token, I will likely have less hero chips :roll_eyes::roll_eyes::roll_eyes:

What Numi said really, with hero quests the prize wall deals become completely useless.
And there’s no other ways to get prize wall tokens but quests.
Yellow rank is too costly for F2P, and hero like Underminer is just not attractive to upgrade.

Prize wall tokens at the end are really needed, how else players are suppose to get hero chips?!

We compare how many people play the Prize Wall with the DAU. If it had to do with the less accounts/merged accounts that would be the DAU not the Prize Wall retention.
