Bunch of people…
No idea either what this abomination is doing here.
Hopefully in future better heroes will be released.

I’ve gotten the 5k diamonds the majority of the times it’s been offered on my main account, and about half the time on my secondary account. So I guess $5 over the past 9+ months is P2W?
Which is something that Loutre has said multiple times in this thread.
Some people did; Pete’s one of the few villains I wanted to see added, I’ve seen several people ask for more Jungle Book characters including Bagheera, and while the Underminer came out of left field, more people were happy to see him in the patch note thread than were unhappy about his addition. Not everyone’s tastes align with yours.
it’s not difficult, but it does spend a lot of resources that aren’t necessarily worth it unless we’re intending to use the hero regularly
On old servers it’s not that difficult indeed (I mean I got all of them except Zeus and Underminer to yellow without spending…) even if you have to stop working on the characters you actually want for some time.
For a new server it’d be MUCH harder
And rather it’s not a complete truth, as majority here says otherwise.
Same with thing that removing tokens is terrible.
Most of the playerbase is not on the forums as vocally here.
Guilty as charged.
Although, I did imagine Bagheera as more of an assist character for Mowgli rather than a full blown character. But it still makes since given that Baggy is one of the main characters.
Honestly I see the same complaints usually (like badges too expensive, battle badges too expensive, lack of new guild perks more frequently, etc) said on the forums in game via guild chats, vip, and global . Are you guys writing your own support tickets to make it seem counterproductive to what majority of players ask for, Becuase I don’t see how anyone can say otherwise unless they just trolling people and wanting more to quit the game for their own entertainment. Sorry.
Most of the playerbase is not very vocal in chat either.
Most of the playerbase logs in for 3 minutes and leave.
We can say a lot of stuff about the “most of the playerbase”.
Q&A was not mentioned very well in game and… we have seen the result. 10 people asking that…care.
Comparting to all other live chats, it’s terrible, community is getting smaller and smaller, players are leaving, if that wouldn’t be a case merges wouldn’t be needed at all.
Forum activity is lower, the rank rewards milestones are getting smaller… economy issues not fixed, 50k stamina for a badge is way too much.
As Loutre said - we can leave. Who will be active in forums then though?
RIP forums then.
That was not at all to say we do not listen to what you all say here, but just a reminder that we are looking at all the ingame data which suggests other things from what is sometimes brought up here.
For example: We have already looked at if the Hero being from a popular IP or very good within the meta would make the Prize Wall have more retention and that was not the case.
Yes and we are looking into a lot of the things that are brought up here. This was just regarding the Prize Wall as was also mentioned further down
We are trying to see why some of the daily players have stopped being interested in a daily Prize Wall check in. This is a thread on Prize Wall Feedback and I was referring to our ingame data being different from a lot of the thoughts mentioned here.
Could it be just a benefit of novelty? A brand new feature is always exciting, but this excitement is never endless. Hard for me to say, I’m still happy to see the Prize Wall again and get as much tokens as I can, even if I stop at Red+0. Prize Wall keeps excitement way better than, for example, Codebase IMO.
Another thing are deals. I don’t see my guildmates buy less tokens than before, the amounts are always pretty big.
I literally mean whether the Prize Wall wasn´t just based on momentum. Because I would have expected the retention like this:
Lilo ↑
Bolt ↑
Ariel ↑
Zeus ↑
Winnie ↑
Raya ↓
Sisu ~
Anna ~
Pete ↓
Bagheera ~
The Underminer ↓
(arrows for higher and lower retention, ~ for roughly similar to the previous hero)
I don’t know if data said the same thing @Loutre, but I feel this way of retention due to economic principle of adaptive expectations.
Oh and you also said that people claimed the tokens, but didn’t use them (or did the quests but didn’t claim the tokens) - the thing is, most of the quests are somewhat collateral of normal daily quests. So the players in question might have logged on, do normal daily quests, meanwhile earn some PW tokens but not claim. Or if they claimed them, they just never felt they are worthy enough to claim the rewards.
Either that or benefit of novelty combined with benefit of OPness. And when OPness is no more, people just resign.
This is why I said that the crates (role, team, diamond, red skill) should have started at 5, 10 or 11 instead of 1. Or the crates should have the rewards rebalanced. Because seriously opening a crate to get a sapphire credit is a… waste, to say it mildly.
More crates = more Orange bits (again, no Red bits, which sucks) = less problems with getting the hero in question (PW hero) to Yellow = people more likely to actually participate.
Because if I have to decide whether I want a great hero raised to Yellow OR a trash (although certain word starting with sh is sometimes more accurate) hero to Yellow - of course I wouldn’t spend resources for the latter. That’s how it is.
And also, due to the spar not being truly accurate representation people adaptively go from what the last hero was like.
Besides, to add to what I said there:
Purple bits - can reach up to R0 (Gold Crates can give them, although at very small rates)
Orange bits - can reach up to R8 (only Diamond/Team/Role Crates give these)
Red bits - can reach up to Y9 (so far nothing other than Team Trials give these, and only 50% of what is needed and in rather low qts)
Yellow bits - well not needed for hero to reach Y0.
Nope, this is very off from our data. Bagheera and Pete both did better than Anna. Winnie was higher than Ariel. I believe Bolt has been the highest. This is just off the top of my head what I am remembering from our data meetings. Zeus is doing much better out of Prize Wall and is one of the most wanted Hero Chips right now.
As I have said before, you’ll continue to see some changes to Prize Wall as we monitor it more.
So…
Lilo ↑
Bolt ↑
Ariel ↓
Zeus ↓
Winnie ↑
Raya ↓
Sisu ~
Anna ~
Pete ↑
Bagheera ~
The Underminer ↓
?
I mean… there is a wide cult for Bolt, I believe. And he’s like the first playable dog.
I still wonder what made the team believe that Winnie would be less loved than Ariel or Zeus, from what I heard the Hocus Pocus “cult” is also fairly big.
Well, yes.
Anna is meh and just weak.
Very nice.
Highly requested hero
Highly ranked too, S-tier
And prize wall was still new, and his prize wall was after prize wall was updated (for better), not like now, for worse.
Would say Raya was also popular, new movie.
I don’t understand your list with the arrows, but in the order it is in it is not correct with who had the most player retention. As I said, Bolt had the highest. Pete and Bagheera higher than Anna. Winnie higher than Ariel.
