Let PB announce giveaway for 1M stamina consumables, but then it’s revealed 1M is across all players, so each gets like 100 packs only, all players are left with useless “treat”.
The journey to max hero is individual, so there is no place for such thing. Truly pathetic.
Contests are as bad as heist and other things.

This contest is entirely unfair on newer servers we can only get 1 maybe 2 of the yellow drinks in our ports cause we don’t have every port level unlocked @Nugget any update if you can revert where the trials and ports are level locked and make them all available like they used to be

This week’s Contest scoring involves gaining disc power.
The two main sources of disc power for me are:
Battle Pass - We are already at the end of the month.
Invasion : no invasion this week due to server merge.

They want us to heist… Which no one has the patience for because the mode is 5.5 years outdated

Plus we get a whopping 600 points per Shocking heist. Even if you’re doing blitz heists and averaging 2 minutes per heist (which would be really dang fast but not impossible), it’ll take hours to make any real progress towards the contest tiers.
At least the XP-earning, memory-earning, and gold-spending parts of the contest will be minimally impacted by the merge, so this contest will only be frustrating instead of nigh impossible.
@Nugget, did the team take this into consideration when coming up with the point values for the contest? It’s already harder than usual due to the reduced value of Disk Power, but thanks to the merge our ability to earn Disk Power is significantly curtailed.

Also not contest related but one of the weekly challenges is to win breaker fights. On a week where there is no invasion.
That plus the shortage of disc power makes me think this week’s activities were hastily slapped together with no foresight.

There was an invasion for almost 3.5 days though…
It is great for Perblue to find another cashcow to milk, aka this insane contest. For players, not so much

I’m not sure where you’re getting “3.5 days” from; the contest started Friday at 9am PerBlue time, and Invasion ended for the week Saturday at noon PerBlue time, so that’s 1.125 days. Most people would have earned all the tier rewards before the start of the contest, as well.

Contest is different, but even then Invasion would hardly help with it so… why exactly would I get contest and invasion together???

When invasion started vs when contest started are two different things.
The point @Jody_Caviness is making , most people probably had all their tiers of invasion from last week by Thursday. Contest started the next day on a Friday. The invasion week that was running ended on a Saturday aka the 1 day and few hours after contest started.
People are saying with this contest , they wished invasion was still going on this week despite the server merge as they are losing out on items needed for the contest (shield power, red juices, and memory tokens). Not everyone has resources infinitely stocked.

So negligible that it would give barely any points. And by that I mean really less than 20k if even more than 10k points…
