Welcome to the Disney Heroes: Battle Mode 5.9-A Update! ! This release features Patch Season 16 plus a couple of improvements!

Patch Season 16 Information

As we approach the conclusion of Season 15 of Patch, we are delighted to share our exciting plans for Season 16!

The sixteen Season of Patch will begin on February 21st and will run for 4 weeks. After the update goes live, you’ll be able to see the season’s Featured Franchises but the Franchise Trials won’t be available until 9:00 AM CT the next morning.

This season introduces our first batch of rebalanced heroes, spanning across 5 Franchises:

  • Kim Possible
  • American Dragon: Jake Long
  • Onward
  • Monsters Inc
  • A Bug’s Life

As mentioned earlier this year, there is a significant number of heroes in the game that are in an unhealthy state and our goal is to tackle the power creep problem this year. These will be the first batch of the rebalanced heroes and we will do our best to make sure these heroes are as close to a healthy state as possible. A bigger portion of these rebalancing efforts will feel like nerfs, but we will also be buffing heroes. This means adjusting numbers across multiple facets of hero progression for a more cohesive experience, such as adjusting red skills, memory disks, and promotion numbers. The main goal of this project is to eventually get to a state where all heroes may be viable for use in battles.

Due to this, we expect this to be a highly iterative process. Game balance is a constant effort, and with the release of this first batch, please keep in mind there may be additional tweaks in the future. So as we continue to balance batches of heroes, PLEASE let us know if you notice any issues with the Franchise Trials right away and we will do our best to address them!

The longevity of DHBM is our number one priority, and we know this may be an uncomfortable process in the meantime. Your feedback is imperative to helping us get the hero pool to a healthier, happier state! Thank you for your continued support and patience.


  • Updates to the Rarity Scalar
    • As part of the rebalancing efforts mentioned above, we will also be updating our Rarity Scalar starting with Yellow +27
    • This means that heroes that are Yellow +27 and above will see an increase to their Health, Skill Power, and Basic Damage gained from Core Stats
  • New Guild Perks
    • Added 5 levels to Car Bonuses 1-6
    • Added 1 level for the Guild Influence Storage perk
    • We reduced the cost of the previous 3 batches of perks by 80%

EDIT: This is a server update that is scheduled for Wednesday, February 21st, 2024. Downtime will be planned.


Okay this does sound quite promising actually

Would be nice to know how these heroes are getting changed though, even though some of them are easy to guess :sweat_smile:


Will this mean the Disks and Red Skills will be scaled to be roughly equal to the new Rarity Scalar?
That would be the ideal way to go.

Rarity Stats : Disks : Red Skills = 1 : 1 : 1

Ideally if sometime later Mods could also be changed (Levels) to make it 1 : 1 : 1 : 1.


Still riding this change to top level badge costs like it’s going to work out ?

Any adjustments to gold? It’s severely in short supply. Surge is the only reliable means to get it and even then it doesn’t compete with the costs to raise even lower rank heroes up.

Definitely need MUCH higher rewards from :
Wish crates
Diamond crates
Special trials
And everything else.


It’s comical to me that we will be “rebalancing” heroes that somewhat counter the one toon in the game that is BROKEN. EDA!! Why aren’t you starting with her??


Please fix Shere Khan with his skill “nightmare roar”, he’s still nerfed in campaign. And please add these characters for the upcoming months:

Alameda Slim
Mrs. Potts and Chip
March Hare
King Candy
Dr. Doofenshmirtz
Phineas and Ferb
Cruella De Vil


Just saying you could go with the newest heroes and then like last 5 patch seasons before the one with wildcards…


Also, for the Merge Trials, can you number them? That way it will no longer be confusing. It will say “Merge Trial 1” and “Merge Trial 2”


A few massively broken heroes are in this grouping :eyes:looking at mainly rose and barley and flik/hopper

This batch of franchises makes sense to tackle first because they clearly contain some of the game’s most inflated heroes.

… they don’t contain all of the game’s most inflated heroes which will make said heroes feel even stronger for a while until they are also rebalanced :grimacing: but I guess that’s inevitable regardless of the choices.

To PB: our expectations for the balancing act are unreasonably high, the heroes must be well balanced! And with legible stat/skill numbers! :crossed_fingers:

To Players: let’s not have too unreasonable expectations, given this is the first batch… :v:

Kim, Monkey Fist, and Jake Long don’t need any nerf…?

And why Monsters Inc is even included, they had refresh awhile ago, Jungle Book and Owl House should be there if it was meant to be balanced, now they will be even stronger.


PB: “We actually don’t want y’all to be able to promote all your heroes to E6 nor fully badge them within any reasonable amount of time, especially not before E7 comes out; this is so that you do not have options to counter the tough heroes, especially when we pu their counters Off Duty for nearly every single war. We do not plan to fix that part anytime soon and really hope you just stop playing, since you obviously aren’t going to buy our paltry stamina deals anymore.”

They said both buffs and nerfs. So I guess Jake will be buffed a bit and Rose nerfed a lot.
Same for Kim, maybe slight nerf for her and bigger for Ron etc.


But she doesn’t need nerf.


Her stats are still bloated though.


They are not coming to this game.


You guys are still not fixing the ads I see


My thoughts exactly, now we not only deal with the same few off duties war after war, now some useful heroes that aren’t off duty won’t be as useful against the super op heroes. Now they’re nerfing, with uber-inflated stamina costs. It feels like PB only considers the direct results of their changes and forgets about indirect consequences.
