Patch Season 16 Information
As we approach the conclusion of Season 15 of Patch, we are delighted to share our exciting plans for Season 16!
The sixteen Season of Patch will begin on February 21st and will run for 4 weeks. After the update goes live, you’ll be able to see the season’s Featured Franchises but the Franchise Trials won’t be available until 9:00 AM CT the next morning.
This season introduces our first batch of rebalanced heroes, spanning across 5 Franchises:
- Kim Possible
- American Dragon: Jake Long
- Onward
- Monsters Inc
- A Bug’s Life
As mentioned earlier this year, there is a significant number of heroes in the game that are in an unhealthy state and our goal is to tackle the power creep problem this year. These will be the first batch of the rebalanced heroes and we will do our best to make sure these heroes are as close to a healthy state as possible. A bigger portion of these rebalancing efforts will feel like nerfs, but we will also be buffing heroes. This means adjusting numbers across multiple facets of hero progression for a more cohesive experience, such as adjusting red skills, memory disks, and promotion numbers. The main goal of this project is to eventually get to a state where all heroes may be viable for use in battles.
Due to this, we expect this to be a highly iterative process. Game balance is a constant effort, and with the release of this first batch, please keep in mind there may be additional tweaks in the future. So as we continue to balance batches of heroes, PLEASE let us know if you notice any issues with the Franchise Trials right away and we will do our best to address them!
The longevity of DHBM is our number one priority, and we know this may be an uncomfortable process in the meantime. Your feedback is imperative to helping us get the hero pool to a healthier, happier state! Thank you for your continued support and patience.
Improvements

Updates to the Rarity Scalar
- As part of the rebalancing efforts mentioned above, we will also be updating our Rarity Scalar starting with Yellow +27
- This means that heroes that are Yellow +27 and above will see an increase to their Health, Skill Power, and Basic Damage gained from Core Stats

New Guild Perks
- Added 5 levels to Car Bonuses 1-6
- Added 1 level for the Guild Influence Storage perk
- We reduced the cost of the previous 3 batches of perks by 80%
