This is a good point.

@TheGrillFather we now need duplicities of badge bits every ~5 ranks. Yet the Team Trial drops end at 6 bits of each badge.

While I know too much stuff given can kill the game… (trust me, I tried doing Ports when they gave like 300K colossal drinks while being bugged and the game just gave up)… it would be nice if Team Trials were scaling up with each difficulty.

@TheGrillFather The Weekend Trials need to be “nerfed”. It’s bad for the new players to not complete even the first level with some Red+10 enemies. Can you please tell us more informations if this is going to happen or not?

Any plans for QoL for heist, it’s a super dead game mode, and it would be nice if there was this time filler that actually had challenging enemies and good rewards. Would be nice, as Emerald is now released, some focus could go towards heist.

So, there’s a slight problem there, given the nature of event trails. Namely, the more franchises that are in the game, the less likely it is that a given player would have built heroes from any given franchise, thereby, when an event trail requires a certain franchises, it can end up costing an impractical amount of resources to get the heroes as strong as they need to be to beat it. Are there any plans to mitigate this risk?

Hi! Thank you so much for the question! In essence, we are giving every hero the most stat points possible to ensure that Emerald will only make heroes stronger, as suggested from player feedback. We are currently in the process of discovering other avenues to ensure that weaker heroes are given a boost to their stats without impacting the strength and boosts of other heroes. So yes, right now the tier system is being pushed aside, but we will find other ways to increase the stats of weaker heroes to ensure that they can compete competitively with the meta & other heroes to keep the game dynamic and flexible.

The point of the tier system was to bring older/weaker heroes to higher levels and make them competitive with stronger heroes. We’re going to continue exploring other options and avenues to do this, so it is possible the tier system will return in a different way.

Hello and thank you for the question!

  • Our current plan is that Emerald Rank will be maintaining the long term health of the Level Scaling Stats System
  • Trying the maintain these through badges was not sustainable for us in the long run and we like giving the choice of which stats you want on your Heroes back to you
  • As we continue to make improvements to Emerald, there may be a time where Level Scaling stats come back to Badges in the near future but it would only be done for maintaining effectiveness rates as new Team Levels are added.

Ah, I do have a :question: , sort of -

I vaguely remember reading somewhere a long time ago that work was… in the works, to expand the Cosmetic Collections.

For players without access to the huge stamina amounts that buying deals now provides, the Badge Crates from Cosmetic Collections are absolutely vital to make meaningful progress ranking up heroes.

As such a player who’s now completed all the Collections, and lost that crucial supply of Badge Crates, it’s now really hard to rank my heroes up! Emerald is really interesting despite the rocky start, but it’s very hard to access now without buying stamina deals.

Has the Cosmetic Collection expansion been shelved or is it still being worked on/considered? The Badge Crate economy has previously been the subject of many changes & debates, and if that supply is closed then I believe it needs looking at again.

On a related note -

These are cool and have potential to be a nice alleviation of the high resource requirements, but the cost to reset the trials has become impossibly high itself. It’s even above the current stamina storage cap!!

This reset system/cost probably needs looking at to increase the popularity of these trials, so I’d like to know if different solutions will be trialled in future… trials… :stuck_out_tongue:

Currently, Platinum Badge Cap is the 9th, There will be plans to return to normal Badge. At least give a specific milestone or point in time.

Like: 13 ranks = 12 months ; Cap is 9/13th

Also, regarding the stamina costs… as I mentioned earlier the cost of badges doubles every ~5 ranks (=20 weeks).

Could the Emerald badges going forward be either:

A) crafted with one previous Yellow/Emerald badge and 2 Emerald Bit-Badges

B) crafted with one previous Yellow/Emerald badge and 3 Emerald Bit Badges?

Having them crafted with two previous Yellow/Emerald badges and 2 Emerald Bit Badges will eventually make the stamina given in deals in Billions soon.

I’ve noticed an increase in Disney TVA characters which I am really happy about. we got Jake Long, Monkey Fist, Negaduck, and now Rose is this intentional or are you running out of Disney/Pixar movie characters?

The trials are too difficult for newer players to get the rewards, it really makes us demotivated :frowning:
Could you please consider adjusting lower trial levels to add patch essence and crates?

The Franchise Trials were meant as a greater challenge for higher level/later game players.
Unfortunately, because Patch Talents are not unlocked until after Red+10, these easier levels will not reward Patch Essence, but please feel free to recommend what you believe could be useful before they are unlocked!

I would have to agree, since I did made a post about which items that were seen in Heist. Heist Items Origins While that, has anyway decided which some items they are from, which are Battle Bot, Blimp, Broken Robot, Dunk Tank, Fish Tank and Ticket Booth?

What do you think of an idea of a franchise specific power badge boost. Not only this will explain the badge origins, but it boost the character from the franchise the badge came from. In addition to regular stat boosts, franchise specific power badge boost will also boost skills, buffs, debuffs, slows, and disabled. Some badges would also boost friendship disks’ stats so it could be a good feature.

Great question! We are always on the lookout for characters that we see players admire! That happened to be one that many characters/series that we saw players talk about with excitement. From there, we look into bringing your favorite Disney characters into the game!

On the roadmap as well unanswered:

  • friendship stamina is very low and the refresh rate hasn’t changed at all despite having 6x heroes. Any indication of when this will be adjusted for?

  • mercenary cost review, has this been declined indefinitely or are you looking at this again now that Emerald pushed power through the roof again?
